BullBearMkt:
HAS THE FORUM TURNED INTO COMPETITION? cheesy
With amusement, I have read various posts in the past couple of days. I keep wondering, if there is a prize to earn if anyone could predict accurately the reversal point for GTB? Will the right person be awarded a $50,000 prize or nothing? If there is no award, then count me out. But if there is any and is less than $50,000 - still count me out. However, if the award is over $50,000, then I AM IN!

Even at that, can I accurately tell the exact price point the stock can reverse & begin the rally? In all honestly, I cannot. I can only predict a possible zone based on past data and as we know, "Past performance is not an indicator of future outcomes" - says disclaimer from many professional analysts.

If people that have been there severally could claim past data I wanted to use is not always reliable to give a particular result, then why should I be 100% sure of my reversal zone? Based on my experience trading stocks (NSE, NASDAQ/NYSE, FTSE), FOREX, CRYPTO... I can categorically state nobody can predict exact price point a reversal can occur. AS A RESULT, I AM OUT OF ANY COMPETITION ALTOGETHER.

My little contributions are to provide readers quality and educative information. With proper money management, these info will make many people money and everyone will be happy for it.

Back to GTB, the stock is now within what I termed Rejection Zone 1. I expect to see market reaction in an attempt to reverse the trend. If this level is violated, it will expose the stock price to the Critical buying zone where long term buyers could benefit greatly for buying-to-keep. Rejection Price 2 mean to look and reconsider the fundamentals of the bank all over.

Thank you @ BBM.

We know those who are genuine and the those who are fake.
Any one who says he can accurately predict the exact point or price a stock or market will reverse its direction is either a fake or is new to the market.

I was surprised that oracle allows someone without a portfolio to drag him into that unnecessary game of predicting a reversal point for GTB.

You are doing a good job and your TA analysis is always very educative. grin

When I buy BELOW the volume adjusted price, I am 99.99% GUARANTEED of making profit.

VWAP is a very important metric used by professional traders. My volume adjusted price is very similar to VWAP.

It shows me, per time, the FAIR price (TRUE price) of ANY market instrument.

The volume adjusted price is PRISTINE pure, having distilled between the quantity of buyers and sellers. It now uses the EXCESS buy or sell quantity to compute the TRUE price point on the price chart.

There exist three variables :
(A) Price
(B) Time
and
(C) Volume

Technical analysts have done exceeding great work on the change in PRICE with respect to TIME

Not so much has been done on the change in PRICE with respect to VOLUME

John 3:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth

You don't see the wind but you see its effects.

In the same way as there is a relationship between VOLUME and the SPREAD (range, high - low) of a candle or bar.
As long as you don't have a cscs account with which you buy/trade stocks on NSE, everything you have said here is still theory........

Not a BAD result as they are trying to clean up the books of their Nigerian operation.

I however think there are BETTER meat in this NSE bush smiley
OK, thanks.

I can't really understand why the CAR ratio dropped significantly below regulatory minimum in a space of one accounting year.

Lets just call them wasters.

If you know how much the Government is generating, they dont need to borrow any dime.
This was what those in APC were saying before they got into power.

Truth be told ,what we are generating as revenue is well too low for our population.

The government still enough money to run the country for long.

The Budget oil benchmark is $60 per barrel, which means the government should have excess .
Which money?
We have been living on borrowed fund even when oil was above $60

Chief,

All these are cycles. Nothing new. Before April, people will be bidding for this same Zenith at over N30. FPI's stopped buying our equities long before this US/China trade war.

Don't be surprised when all these offers vanishes tomorrow. This is NSE, anything can happen and always do happen!
If oil price stays low for a very long time, it will be a difficult time for NSE o..

My Oga i also agree that the story coming out of Eco is not that good plus the financial is just average and not in anyway excellent

But you can be rest assured that Eco won't be far from an acquisition / takeover with the current rate of its falling because of its pan african asset / franchise. who the acquired wld be is what cant be said at present but d franchise / asset looks quite enticing and wld make it a target of acquisition if the current downward trajectory does not abate

Chief BBM wld appr8 if i am on d mailing list on this

n.b i dont own any but wld seriously consider this in d coming days for speculative play purely
Some of my findings from the bank latest result;

---- CAR = 12.8 as at December 2018 against 24.8 in December 2017
---- The top line and bottom line have been growing in other regions while the Nigeria operation
continues to decline.
----- The contribution of the Nigeria operation to total income and profit has reduced significantly
between last year and this year
