Uchetoba:
This UACN thing will be like what happened when UBA was devesting from Afriprud, Ucap & Afriland property. About 2 weeks to the day they were going to allot the shares of the three companies for free to investors, the price of uba started crumbling very fast from over N7 to around N4.5. When I saw the price at 4.5 I quickly sold all my NEM at N0.8 cause I but the NEM at N0.55, so I plunged all the money into UBA not knowing what was about to happen lukily for me that was about two day to the D day. About three days after buying I saw that the price of uba started ralling and I also noticed that two new companies has been included in the price list and the two are also ralling. To cut the long story short, I later called my then analogue stockbroker to send a copy of my cscs stmt of acc to my email, they did and I saw afriprud and ucap in my cscs stmt then I called my stockbroker for explanation then they told me those were giving to me by uba bc cbn had told all banks to divest from their non banking subsidiaries. Later again I checked my P.O Box and I also saw the share certificate of afriland property.

Those that sold there UBA before the D day I'm sure they cried HAD I KNOW.

Please let them continue to sell their UACN I havn't bought enough. I even need it to fall to like N4 so that I can buy more and more b4 the D day.
Don't compare what happened in uba then to what is happening in UACN now......
For one, uba subsidiary was not raising fresh capital .....

That is not the point
Daily will change several times and revert without affecting the weekly or monthly
The reason I showed on two previous occasions where ASI daily has broken the cloud but later found its way back below
Now what factors will propel and maintain the daily to transmit to the weekly and monthly?
That is the question one should be asking
I think Oracle is using the mind of a fundamentalist to do TA.....

Just Before Market Opens - NSE Analysis gives mixture of Bulls & Bears shocked
The present outlook of NSE index is showing both bulls and bears depending on the angle Analyst decided to interpret the data.

POINTS FOR BULLS
-Yesterday's close sits on bullish order candle which happened on 16/08/19
-Yesterday's closed in a pin bar just at the support level, indicating after heavy sell off, buyers later showed up to close the market a bit higher than the average
-NSE30 still bullish

POINTS FOR BEARS
-Market have been making series of lower highs and lower lows
-Reversal pattern is of bearish wedge
-Market sentiment turns bearish
-NSE30 give a bearish expanding triangle

Honeywell bottom was at the same time with all others. 16th August 2019.

FA doesn't look good na. But with TA, it can still fly.
Honeywell is definitely for the TA people....... those who will buy and be watching their back everyday, lol grin

For FA, it is a no go area......

Good one bro but, let's pray for a better nine months results if not those who will buy late October/November will be the sole winners.

I am already positioned in few stocks and presently loading Fcmb anticipating a bull.

I am afraid of Agba's November market entry.Thats means if it works for him,we who are already positioned are loosers.
Agba strategy to enter market in November is not to buy stocks at their lowest price........

onegentleguy:
U made reference to the daily timeframe pulling back below the cloud after 2 previous attempts to break out, so it makes sense to assume that it could be no different with this attempt.
On that note, ur basis for assumption is on the premise that volume is still relatively weak. ...well, I agree.
But what u haven't told us(perhaps ur acting indifferent to it) is if the seeming weak volume with this 3rd attempt has had more 'strength' when compared to the last 2 attempts.
Put differently, how has the momentum/weight with VOLUME faired this time compared to the last 2 failed attempts.
Could it be that though it is weak, it's been relatively stronger(momentum build-up in view) than those previous attempts?

A sick person who had typhoid but has been recuperating after undergoing several line of prescription and now experience only slight migraine, can of course, still be referred to as sick, but is undoubtedly stronger than he was before !! smiley wink cheesy

Markets follow thru 4 basic circles: CONSOLIDATION, BREAKOUT, TREND and REVERSAL.
I want to believe that while the best time to KEY IN lies with the 1st 2, the 1ST presents a much better chance of doing so than the 2nd(price in view), while the best time to sell lies with the last 2.(particularly the 4th)

The 1st(consolidation) following from the 4th(a reversal) rides through periods of a weak, to relatively weak to sparingly weak market(bear phases)... then to a strong, stronger and much stronger market(bull phases)
That 1st circle is the best time to key in. ...because u can't get more better bargains(better BEP in view) in a breakout(which is what u are probably waiting for) than a consolidation(which is where we are at the moment)
...because ur bargaining power as an investor will undoubtedly be better in the latter than the former.

This honours the 'buffetology' rule of finding the RIGHT BALANCE between fear and greed and seeking to maximize one's gains(ROI in view) by effectively utilizing the opportunities therein.

This is what @RabbiDoracle has been saying all along when he stated that mid August(when the market was apparently in its weakest state) was indeed the best time to have keyed in.
U would no doubt find that those who bought into(the then weakest market state) ACCESS @ N5.7, UBA @ N5.5 and ZENITH @ N16, to mention just a few, are better off for it.

U tend to FIND, and get a much better VALUE for ur money when u can KEY into HELTHY underpriced assets during the WEAKEST phase of a market circle !!

Fortunately, prices haven't gone beyond reach.
...so there's still the opportunity with some select assets.

WEAK is where ur strength(degree of ROI in view) should lie !!
...but for anything, it helps ensure u carry a lower risk premium/weighting as an investor.

Regards.
Different approach for different people.
Some especially traders will never buy at consolidation stage as they see it as a waste of time. Reason: nobody knows how long consolidation will last and it can be very frustrating.......

Another juju stock, cant really predict what the management could do.it has been doing fairly well in recent times, supported with good numbers.Does not really have too much competitors in its sector.Has been consolidating well around 4.00,thousands lucky to pick some at 3.87.A good end of year result to send it to the skies.
A very good company that went through a tough time in recent years.
They are back on good performance....
I have been waiting at N3.55 for weeks.....

Is unity bank head office on fire?
Share price and Banking license might follow... grin
The fire was generated by NPLs... grin

Unity bank is synonymous with the North.
No matter what happens, I don't think the licence will go as long as power is still in the north.

Pluto, you don't know who is a trader and a seasoned investor.Following what OGG and Mercy has said about him if true,he is a season investor.Somebody who never bought anything from the beginning of this year till now.He even said he is entering market by November.

I am not the one anybody can deceiv just like that.Im also a trader and investor.I have used my tools to compare with his before coming up with a conclusion.

Well, sometimes you behave like him too.

These your stones , eh, eh grin grin

Do we actually have investors here cool huh Maybe few..
I see myself as a trader though with a different approach to that of Agba.... What he does requires great discipline...
