onegentleguy: From a result driven perspective(H1 print for the most part)
The great; CAVERTON, FCMB, LAFARGE WAPCO, AIICO, VITAFOAM, CONOIL, FO and UACN.
The good; MTN, FLOURMILLS(Q1), WEMA, CADBURY, CAP, COUTEVILLE, CHAMPION BREWERIES, C&I LEASING, NESTLE and DANGOTE CEMENT.
The fair(the not-so-good): JULIUS BERGER, GSK, ETI, AFPRUD, HONEYWELL and STERLING.
The bad; AIRTEL, UNILEVER, FIDSON, OKOMU, PRESCO(Q1), UCAP, NASCON and NEIMETH.
The UGLY; OANDO, TOTAL, MOBIL, ETERNA OIL and INTER BREWERIES.
We really Love all the GREAT guyz... and like the 1st 8 from amongst the GOOD ones. I will not be surprise to see all 9 GREAT coys reprise higher to bridge the present very juicy gap(MoS) between current VALUATION and price. ...given the present standing of their financial print, it seems the probability of occurrence is nearer to 1 and farther from zero. Surely, time shall put things in their right perspective.
We hate them BAD guys !! As for the UGLY folks, we would prefer to avoid them like a plaque. ...well, at least for now. To those who are still associating or speculating with the 1st ugly guy after several cautionary input, remember;
"The difference between INVESTING and SPECULATING is like 'playing a ring/live action game' and 'gambling in the land of ghosts' With the former, there is a probability for you to control your emotion. ...but with the latter, there is a possibility for your emotion to control you !! The problem however is that the latter process can oftentimes be catastrophic !!" ~Sinclair
NOTE: Preference of selection from the basket of the GOOD guyz is from left to right in that order.
CAVEAT: NOT to be interpreted or referenced as any sought of recommendation. Due diligence should still remain ur 1st priority. My advice: Pls follow ur instinct.
We look forward to more fine financials this week !! It is well. From my review of companies with the latest quarterly results, here are my picks: WAPCO CARVETON VITAFOAM MTN UACN COUTEVILLE FCMB |

Northeastern: NCI means FO has shares in a subsidiary that it does not control and therefore can not consolidate or add the subsidiary's account item by item but the profit.
So if the NCI is not there, we should see proceeds from the sale of the investment. The power asset has been sold, and the proceed has been recognized . see the attached :

meshpips: I made this offer some weeks ago. @northeastern and some others labelled me a thief.
Though I didn't make mention of the name of the commodity and no one from this thread contacted me to make any finding about the commodity.
Here is a picture of what has transpired from the time I made the offer until market close yesterday.
Over 2,000 pips sell off on the commodity.
Please let's exhibit restraint in the way we are so quick to paint people black and label them as fraudsters.
The many posts I have been making here have all been in a bid to redeem my image which northeastern has hastily denigrated on this thread. Maybe someone would have seen that I truly know what I have been talking about.
Many completely misunderstood my intent and just felt that I derive joy in making posts on currencies in a thread dedicated to stock trading.
I already mentioned that I don't trade stocks, the only asset class that I can use in an attempt to redeem my wrongfully battered image was currencies.
@northeastern, I hold nothing against you but you have made many miss out on what could have been a blessing to them in this period that the stock market has been unfit or not too profitable to trade.
Please, let's all learn from this.
Thanks everyone If you are as good in making money as you are claiming, why will you need another person money. Why don't you start small with your own money and grow your capital with time. What we do here is stocks and we are well aware of its nuisance. The stock market is not a get rich quick scheme, but you can make your money with little or no stress. |

currentprice: fair price base on Q2 report alone is N39
though financial income jack it up but without the financial income the fairprice still not bad
they have good oxggen cash
What do you have to say about that devaluation of subsidy as a major part of the profit.? |

Bomboclad: @BullBearMkt, you are on point with your analysis. I have attached here my analysis on GTBank and I have strong reasons to believe a massive uptrend is in the works based on the day-chart in unison with other indicators.
Also, I strongly doubt if GTBank would get down to 26, which is below the major resistance line, unless 2Q results are disappointing, which I doubt.
Lastly, the 52 week low for GTBank is 26.65, which occurred on the 9th of July this year. This your chart fine well o |

rebekah2011: I have UBA and Zenith. the average price of purchase of zenith is 21.87 and UBA 7.45. My focus really was on both but I better keep the money for the purpose. As the price keeps going down, they become more attractive and tempting. Nobody knows how low they will go and that get to show how frustrating FA can be. I have reached my allowable limit for a single stock in my portfolio with zenith, hence,I have stopped buying. There is still some room for more units of uba but I am not comfortable with a situation where banking stocks will be more than 70% of my stock holdings. On the look out for other stocks in other sectors that are relatively cheap...... |

rebekah2011: Where are the Elders of NSEMPA? This is the time to encourage the fainthearted ooooo. Should we average down or wait to bail out when the market rebound. I feel like putting school fees into this market for short term gains but I am not sure if I will not bite my fingers. Don't let your short time strategy turn to looooonnng time o. If you have free cash you can use it to do short time, with good emphasis on stop loss...if the trade goes against you , you can easily cut your losses and move on but please don't use your school fees. On a lighter note, hope you are not holding more than is necessary of banking stocks because they are cheap |

he will not go there but disturbing NESMA that can not provide $10k to manage cos of lack of interest
anyway may be there is no records to show for I didn't want to engage the guy ni . There are a number of brokers out there with which he can register as manager. He doesn't need any advertisements, just a good record and before one knows it ,big money will be running after him to trade and earn commission. And he doesn't even know that he is not the only one here trading forex ..... |

Northeastern: Nope, the post I quoted says a huge part left with Femi and it is not true.
I don’t need to read anyone’s analysis to dispute that statement. The NCI was majorly from the power assets. Do we still have anything left of the power assets after the exit of otedola . I will still have to digest the latest result to say more about your observation |

Mcy56: There are some stocks that will not just fit into the first 3 category but they're just on their own and can deliver, especially when there's bull. Some of them include transcorp, Unity, Japaul, Chams, etc. If you are looking to buy based on value,I think his analysis is a good one. How ever, we know that price appreciation in stock market is not only driving by value, one can as well close one's eye and pick any stock and pronto the price goes up and you will start thinking that value does not matter. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by pluto09(m): 9:48am On Jul 29, 2019 |
Mpeace: Never underestimate the power of transcorp. The stock is just offering us an opportunity to buy low. It will surely pay. There is nothing in transcorp presently that can justify a buy rating. This however does not mean that the stock cannot rally anytime. |
