Success2011: The fellow that got a refusal probably did because it was a visitor visa. ECOs tend to refuse visit visas for the most flimsiest reason. I don’t see a visa refusal for a study or dependent visa because of a discrepancy in addresses! Addresses are bound to change! The guy was just unlucky. I did with visitor visa and i got the visa but seeing this now, I may need to update the address. |

Penguin2: When the chips are down, they look for an Igbo man to help them fix the mess.
Just like they know that only an Igbo man can get Nigeria out of its present quagmire but stupid primordial sentiments won’t let them give an Igbo man power.
We are fixers!
We are developers!
Allow an Igbo man fix Nigeria’s mess! Which mess? That board is just being balanced well in terms of tribe. You think they are stupid? I am not yoruba but let truth be told, when it comes to finance no one does it better than the yorubas. You can ask your friends who are chartered accountants. |

A colleague of mine said I need to deposit money to start the 28days count. Until now, I felt I was okay and that all i need do is to count 28 days backwards anytime i am ready to apply.
Please enlighten me on how to go about it. |

questionanswer: Not really. He is the most cool guy I ever known. The guy no dey find trouble.
Just that he wants to know and be sure someone else is not tripping on his right.
He is having been discussing the issue personally with me. Although I had limited knowledge on the matter. That is why I came here to ask. Thanks which rite? forget that thing when it comes to sharing anything that is when you get to know the character of someone,. Why is it a problem if the property is to be shared? Cos if property is to be among five people before, and now they are six it wouldn't make much of a difference. Being cool and being greedy are two different things. If he wants to stand by first son takes all, then his step brother takes everything! |

questionanswer: Hi everyone, I want to ask this important question.
I have a friend who happened to be a first son of his father. A first son well known in the house (That is his father legally married his mother).
But after many year, the father brought back another son he born out of wedlock. (Actually, the son came back looking for his father).
The son born out of wedlock is much older the other son.
Now the father is late, as Igbo culture, who takes over the father and inherits the father's property as a first son?
The older son born out of wedlock or the other first son in the house?
We have been debating on this but needed a clarity from an experience Igbos here.
Thanks in advance, seems your friend is greedy, see where his heart is, inheritance. It means he wants to take everything without giving his siblings anything. |

Megabig: Count it all joy you have someone you love, the earlier you take that age thing off your head the better for you. Marry her asap if y’all are compatible. Don’t listen to people on the advice of age, you just need to do what will make you happy the rest of your life. Be happy and forget that age.
My mum is 78 and my dad is 69, we’ve all grown and are happy. I wish my dad can advice you on this because their experience about people back then according to him was worst, now most of those people are either dead, had issues or barely surviving. But here they are, went though thick and thin and still at it. Please do you, no advisor will live with you the rest of your life and if something goes wrong when you take their advice, they will come back to tell you that you had your choice to make because they only adviced you and not choose for you. So do you bro Wow! If this is true then your parents really fought hard to be together. In this day, it is still somehow not to talk of then. |

dubaiprince: Your opinion that wherever you are is home is respected. My opinion is that wherever you are and not treated as equals is not home. You can't collect immigration health surcharge and tax me equally as a citizen then when it comes to benefits, you give me limited options under the guise of NRPFs. Don't let me even go to what happens in the workplace. Even with British passport, I can't call it home. Even well known blacks like Rashford, Saka, Ian Wright, Alex Scott etc have their stories on what they had to fight growing up and they are still fighting it. We all know we are not welcome (let's not hide it) but unfortunately, their economy can't work without migrants. My opinion. I just decided to read through this thread, I am not in the UK. But even in some work places in Nigeria, this same thing is going on but perpetuate by the foreigners. To be honest that is one reason I want to leave since it is taking me too long to get another job. The md's character with the characters of other foreigners is the reason I want to leave. I cant be in my country and someone calls me a monkey. When the man gets angry he starts to make monkey sounds and it has gone from there to openly telling us that we dont reason. Bonus ever enjoyed before has been cut down. No one cares of how u get to do job. |

adubam: I just want to share this painful and bitter scenario to job seekers out there.
So we posted a job advert and over four hundred applied. Three were selected for interview and only one appeared.
Salary is about 150k for a start.
So this applicant came and did well in both oral and written interview but she was not given the job because of this:
She was given a paper to apply for the job. Excellent write up though but she messed up the whole paper with cancellation and instead of asking for a fresh paper to start over again; she even went ahead and handed over it like that to my boss.
My boss concluded that she was an untidy and scatty fellow.
And that was all.
Please take note of this and try not to make this mistake.
God grant you your desired jobs. If i set comprehension for your boss, if he knows too much he will get 2 over 5. Tell him Poanan said so. |

Odewaleadesoye: I have the following to share with everyone:
1. So many people who are feeling like giving up on life should come and see this and know that there is a better future for any man. NEVER EVER GIVE UP.
2. To the ladies reading this, please note that good woman works together with the man to help him grow and not be a liability in his life.
3. And for those guys hoping to troll women who refuse to build with men, note that Sir Tony obviously had potentials he was working on and actively developing himself. Don't ask woman to stick with you when you don't have a blueprint to elevate yourself to begin with. When you people want to write sometimes always get fact. At 1997 this guy was already a big boy. Standard trust was incorporated in 1990 so dont come here with those motivational write ups. |

Stepanovs: I did not agree the vaccines don't work or work...dont put words in my mouth....I said that is not my place to discuss....not with many false and conspiracy theory reports
My opinion is that if the constituted authority of a nation has said something that you think affects your beliefs...take them to court (if that is feasible) or resign
NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD HAS DIRECTLY FORCED THEIR CITIZEN TO BE VACCINATED.....it's true "employer power" they use and even that is subtle......my issue is THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE FORCING CITIZENS ....IF YOU CANT....RESIGN....NOBODY GO COME YOUR SHOP COME ASK YOU FOR VACCINATION BEFORE HE BUYS GOODS FROM YOU....SIMPLE and my questions remains why force people? you have failed to answer this. When something is mandatory what does it mean? Tell the NGO u work for to honestly explain the words to you. Which no country has directly forced citizens. Is france not sacking people? you have not heard or you dont know. Thank you used the word 'directly' at least we can start from there. In other words you agree they are "indirectly forcing them" |
Health › Re: FG Makes COVID-19 Vaccination Compulsory For Civil Servants by Poanan: 10:56pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
Stepanovs: How effective the vaccine is around the world is not the discussion we are having here.....what I can discuss is how wrong it is to "force" vaccination on anybody
So any civil servant that thinks a government he works for has forced him to take a vaccine because of ulterior motives.....he has the option of resignation.......I AM A NIGERIAN CITIZEN and I DO NOT WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.....AM I NOT LIVING MY LIFE? dont shy away from that. If you agree the vaccines are not working why force people is my question. Have ever used a drug that did not work for you, yet insist of having it? U cant kill an animal with a knive without spilling blood. You cant remove the effectiveness when talking about a compulsory vaccination. |
Health › Re: FG Makes COVID-19 Vaccination Compulsory For Civil Servants by Poanan: 10:26pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
Stepanovs: So if they can't afford the expensive PCR test and they are conspiracy theorist that believe the Covid-19 vaccine is some sort of Anti-Christ or depopulation scheme.....why not resign?
Why would a sane person want to work for a government he thinks is forcing him to take something that would kill him? Where they copied it from, didnt they also make the test free? Which country has successfully brought down their figures as a result of the jab? What is prompting the 3rd jab? |
Health › Re: FG Makes COVID-19 Vaccination Compulsory For Civil Servants by Poanan: 10:20pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
Stepanovs: When you "enforce" something you don't give an option.....nothing was enforced....if the civil servants don't want to take the vaccination no one is forcing them....they should be doing a Covid-19 PCR test every 7 days.....ABI is that a wrong option as well? Is the option free? Cos I know where they made this thing, they made testing free. |
Health › Re: FG Makes COVID-19 Vaccination Compulsory For Civil Servants by Poanan: 10:18pm On Oct 13, 2021 |
Stepanovs: They didn't make it compulsory.....they even gave civil servants the option of getting a PCR test result available whenever needed in the case where vaccination Is not done......so they were given an option Option for free test or what option are u talking about? |
