Some jobs need you to have stayed in the UK for some time to carry out a detailed check on you. Police report from your country is not needed. They want to rely on your stay in the UK to carry out that check. So not having enough foot print in this case may mean someone who has stayed in the UK for more time is more likely to have entered one trouble or the other than some one who just came. However, it doesn't not mean that the person who just came is a saint but with time the person may start to reveal true colour. That is the reason they need you to have stayed in the UK for some time for some jobs. But it varies. Some govt depts ask for something as simple as dbs, criminal record check or Bpss. Just always check what they need before applying . Most home office vacancies will ask for a certain form of security check. For people saying they don't ask that for junior roles please and please dont pay attention to them just follow what is written on the advert. The least home office requires from what i have seen so far is ctc clearance. Which requires you to have stayed in the UK for 3years.

Please avoid home office if you are not up to 3years or 5years in the UK depending on the type of clearance needed. I got an offer for SEO role and the offer was later withdrawn because of not having enough footprints in the UK. This even after sending references o. You can imagine the heartbreak. People should apply to other departments.

I’m male based in UK.
Wife and I have been having arguments/fights.
Things have gotten physically unfortunately.
I don’t initiate it.
She says I trigger her by being on my own when we quarrel about couple issues or when I’m with my phone. She’s told me to leave the house. When I come back at night to sleep or when I’m using my phone/laptop around her, she will come and disturb me and start struggling with phone etc. She has smashed my phone. She has fought with me. Things are so bad she will bring out knives and say I should just stab her or use it to hurt her since my silence is “emotional stabbing” to her.
Our physical struggles lead to bites, cuts etc. on each of us. I repeat, I keep running away or holding myself (absorbing slaps and knife pokes etc.)

Long story short, this has happened too much. At least 3 or more occasions. I no longer feel safe. I think we need to separate while things escalate to our families etc. for reconciliation/solution.

Challenge is:
- we are on Tier 2 visa. I’m main applicant, she’s spouse. We both work.
- newly weds, no kids
- shame of failed marriage etc.
- we share a flat. Our lease is up, we are just paying a rolling month on month. That can be cancelled with 30 days notice.

I need advice from Elders who have either experienced similar issues or know people that have. We bought have pictures of the injuries we inflicted to each other as ammunition if things escalate to police.

The advise is not entirely bad if not for our deeprooted lack of production. With excess production, export would have earned us dollars to strengthen the naira. The matter is not about him attending. Tinubu did not have to present his university cert once presented u must prove it if asked. Now the issue is if that certificate he presented is from the school. If it is not then it now perjury because upon submitting his forms he took an oath. He wouldn't have brought it out. First he said he went to GCI and when they wanted to invite him to the school they couldn't find any of his classmates and that is the reason Tinubu removed sec school from his form. He mentioned some thing like st Paul pry school but people have come to say no school like that in that area and he removed that as well.

Justwise I think it is in Nigeria. It depends on the terms of employment. Some companies will not sponsor you in totality but will pay for the flight ticket. It depends on your contract.I
