Health › Re: Where Do I Get COVID19 Vaccination Shots And Is It For Free? by Poanan: 12:00pm On Sep 19, 2021 |
Sharatan: Good day Nairalanders. Irrespective of the fact that most Nigerian youth think COVID19 is not real, I noticed the new variant is causing a lot of deaths especially for the middle aged group. Most have died of lung related issues this year more than ever and I guess it should be the COVID that's the cause of these deaths even though most people are still blind to the fact. All I am trying to find out now is for those that have had theirs, where I can get my own vaccination shots and how much is being paid for it (cause we all know how everything can be sold in Nigeria even palliatives) I am beginning to get scared of the whole thing. I reside in Lagos mainland. If you want to get it get it. But dont be deceived, vaccine will not stop anything. People vaccinated are still dying from it. The way is to boost your immune system. |

Solatium: Obviously you are yet to take the vaccine,if you have, you would have known that there is electronic ID which is verifiable from a bar code for everyone that had taken the jab. But it is someone that is registering the name on that bar code. The person simply puts your name down without taking the vaccine |

SirWellington: I just had a conversation with a colleague who applied for UK tier 4 dependant visa but was denied. He declared he has someone in the UK other than his wife the main applicant (his younger sister who's married to a UK citizen) and then many question ensued from there during his interview. To cut long story short he was denied on grounds that they don't think he has any intentions to leave the UK upon expiration of the wife's visa. From this what I will advise is, if you declare you know someone other than the main applicant (talking of dependant applicants under tier 4), be ready to face questions that ensue afterwards as well as the consequences. On the other hand if you fail to declare you have a relative other than the main applicant, the issue is you might be caught and banned (that is if there's any way they will find out) but if you have never declared your relative in the UK in any application to the UK before, you know you won't be staying with them or relying on them for anything, and you know you don't have the requisite informations about them as per income, and the rest, just say NO. My two cents. Is income not a personal thing? How on earth am I supposed to know the income of a relative? I am very certain that if I ask I wont be told. The main thing is people should apply early when it is getting late they pull all forms of attack on you. |

I got another passport and visa after some months, went to the airport early to avoid stories that touch. As we were waiting for our flight, the flight was vy 12:35am, by 12 midnight I couldn't stand up, my back started paining me, I have never experienced such pain before, it was terrible, I couldn't stand up, even when they were calling names, I was lying down, it is well. I had to pray, send text message to my pastor. Immediately he replied my message with a word of prayer, I got healed,it was almost time, I entered the flight. Wow |

Akinblogdotcom: Popular Celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji has recently changed the surname of her son Jayce from her baby daddy’s name Jeremi to that of her own father Ikeji as she celebrates him on his birthday.
https://www.akinblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/linda.jpg
Linda Ikeji for some reason changed the surname of her son Jayce to Ikeji taking the identity of his father Jeremi from it and even changed it in his Instagram bio and we wonder why.
For reasons best known to her, Linda Ikeji changed the surname of her son, Jayce to Ikeji, removing the identity of his father Jeremi from it and even changed it in his Instagram bio and we wonder why.
Some possible reasons why most women give their father's surname to their kids could be when the father of their kids doesn't take responsibility and do what they are expected to do as fathers or sometimes the mothers just feel like based on privacy issues.
But in the case of Linda Ikeji, we believe something might be wrong somewhere because she was using the baby daddy's name Jeremi for her son, Jayce but then has changed it all of a sudden which means something might have gone wrong somewhere and we are yet to discover it.
Linda Ikeji hardly talks about her baby daddy and now is trying to delete his identity from the life of her son Jayce by giving him her father’s surname meaning she doesn’t want to have anything do with him again until whatever be the reason is solved.
The poor boy is going to be the one who will suffer the most in all this drama since he would have to live his life without his father now that his mother is trying to cut him off in their lives.
https://www.akinblog.com/popular-celebrity-blogger-linda-ikeji-changes-her-sons-surname-from-her-baby-daddys-name-to-her-fathers-name-see-reasons/ According to tradition, that boy was never meant to bear the father's name because hlthe father didnt marry the mother neither did he acknowledge him as a son. |

GidiCars: What's with vaccinated people always trying to shame others into getting the vaccines. If you think the vaccines work, and protect you, you don't have to worry about others.
I'm never taking them vaccines. Exactly the question I asked someone. I see it more like let us all take the vaccine and of there is anything that will happen. It happens to all of us and becomes survival of the fittest. Since when did mankind become this caring? |

It is heard immunity that is being achieved. Those who took the vaccine in Jan is about 20 to 40% effective. As the month goes by, the effectiveness drops. Follow the us news on the covid. Amarathripple0: Your advise is really weird, asking people to be overly guarded and to delete their social media page is really off. Unless one has something to hide, there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion about your government.
And as for not trusting people, this only brings unnecessary paranoia. People can only expose bad and illegal activities, if you are abiding by their rules and not working beyond the limit set, then what’s there to expose.
Guys please, network, make new friends, be open about your struggles as you never know where you’ll get assistance from but be sure to only give out the information that won’t come back to bite you. Shalom Those things that guy wrote are true. If you know u have some bad things u hide it. It is not like you are lying. Those things he mentioned up there funny enough I keep in Nigeria. I like my co workers but like the saying goes what happens in Miami stays in Miami. I dont have any of my colleague on my social media including linkedin. Yes cos they use it to monitor your next move. For some people they are not in UK to make friends, they are there to hussle and better their life. |

Seek out business analysts on Linkedin and find out what their day to day life is like, salary range, challenges etc. Business analysts mostly work as the analysts behind Erp system and other technologically areas. Authority1o1: Okay...
Uncle is a pitiable opportunist who like every other well-schooled capitalist, studied the stock market and concluded he hasn't grown enough risk tolerance to seal such a contract.
My verdict is that in being selfish, he averted the possibility of future internal crises, nights of dialogues, financial ruination and loss of sanity.
How astute. I hope you day this same thing when a lady refuses to marry a man cos she feels the man is below her level. |

naija4life247: It will end in tears. IBB, Sani Abacha, Atiku, Obasanjo's children are still in severe pains over failed marriages.
The poor also have failed marriages anyway, but the disgraced is not as much as that of children of looters.
I hope we remember Gbenga Obasanjo's failed marriage to his ex-wife in which Gbenga Obasanjo said in Court that both Obasanjo and his father in-law are sleeping with his now ex-wife. We should still remember another Obasanjo's son wedding to Baba Ijebu's daughter. The wedding lasted less than 3 months with dirty and shameful fight in the public.
IBB's daughter's wedding too ended shamefully from the Court to the pages of newspapers and gossip tabloids.
Last year was even interesting. We saw how Atiku Abubakar's son abducted / kidnapped / stole his children from his ex-wife while in the premises of the High Court. Even the presiding Judge was perplexed.
Abacha's daughters nko? They have been kicked out by different men.
No peace for the wicked and their generations yet unborn.
Iya Bose and Baba Bose also fight themselves severally, just as Baba Nkechi and Mama Nkechi but none of the masses is disgraced and humiliated from the Courts to gossip tabloids like the children of the evil looters. Because no one knows them. Iya Bose and Mama Nkechi may still be in that marriage because they dont have what to eat or feed their children. Iya Bose and mama Nkechi fight continue and then they bring stupid children who turn out to be something else in the society. |
