Sad to see him go - another victim of Seun's indiscretion and lack of tact. Too bad. |
He was a good Mod. Perhaps the best Mod ever in the politics section. I join reasonable people in wishing him all the best. Sexkillz and of course Ogugua will be missed. They are yet more victims of Seun lack of tact and diplomacy. Such a shame. |
Nice one. But the shouldn't have let him go that easily. A two-day drilling would have helped sunk important message into his thick skull. By the way this is the second time these dissidents are praising the SSS. The other time it was Dino Melaye, now this one. It appears these guys (SSS) are indeed more professional than they used to be. Another harvest of the 'transformation agenda? |
The only way Rochas can lay a stake to the presidency is by delivery in Imo state. So far he has been less than stellar. By the way, if he thinks APC will hand him the ticket, he must be more foolish than I thought. |
Who are those complaining of heat at MMIA? Are you not same people who complain that the remodeling and renovations are not the priority? Why complain now? I believe the minister should spend more time and resources improving 'aviation safety' in MMIA. The cooling system is not as important as safety. There are other airports needing attention by the way. |
Low IGR does not necessarily imply low economics activities, it might however reflect the lack of propensity of the state to tax the people. If a state gets more than enough to satisfy the needs of its people why must it tax them to death? |
nuclearboy: You forgot to include Asari Dokubo in your list of attention seekers! No one stopped you from including him. I am only interested in those mentioned in this piece. By the way, Asari is one man who can put his money where his mouth is. I can't say same for the rest. |
Nice piece. But it still does not diminish the fact that Fani 'Ode, just like Junaid and Kiata are bunch of attention seekers who represent themselves and a few who deluded folks who worship them. If there is anything they should share, it is a cell in jail for actions bordering on hate and incitement. |
@Topic/Op The North has contribute at least 10 million Alamajiris for starters. If this is not an important economic contribution, I wonder what is! |
There has always been bloodshed in Nigeria especially by the hausa/fulani North, who Junaid represents. So Junaid and co travelers can simply 'go and die' ! We are not moved by his threat. |
Sooner or later Nigeria will be no more. Why can't we just sit down and do it peacefully, rather than allow Nigeria to disintegrate with in and brimstone, with shock and awe? |
@topic Says the Association of Politically Corrupt - APC! |
All these Aluta calls without substance?! ![]() Musiwa, please take your drugs oo. This is getting serious. |
TribalEAST: stop the sarcasm.LP and PDP equates to SS/SE? You folks and your sickly logic powered by hatred for SE/SS! |
Isa Muazu would rather live in UK prison than return to Nigeria. Na wa o. |
What is Junaid talking about? There is already blood on the street. The blood of the corpers, the blood of fellow Nigerians and now the blood of their killers. Next will be the blood of Junaid and the rest of the bloody instigators. If Jonathan decides to run, so be it. If the constitutional right of one man will tear the country apart, so be it. Finally, it is folly on the part of Junaid to think that the SW will support the North in braying for blood let alone join in the blood letting? Whose blood apart from Junaid's and his fellow travellers is worth spilling for sake of Nigeria? Whose blood? |
Congratulations to Obiano. A well fought poll, a fitting finale, a deserved victory. Anambra is on right track - next stop Imo! |
asha 80: i understand poll but why court? All they (APGA) and INEC need to argue is that the supplementary poll was to correct the flaws in the first one. With emphasis that the supplementary poll was organised in area where the flaws were identified. |
The way I see it, APGA will win at the poll and in the courts. |
What if this poor widow doesn't have an account number? What next? #The widow must not die! |
Fashola deported the poor, now Oshiomole wants them to 'go and die'! Walahi these APC people love the poor! VOTE Oshimole for President, Fashola as vice! |
Most unkindest cut indeed! Oshimole, this is wickedness. You need to seek out the woman and publicly apologize. |

Well, that's a card available to the FG and they have elected to play it. The way I see it, the lecturers will go to court, while lectures go on courtesy of the new lecturers. After a long winding court case, they will agree to settle out of court for more or less what have been offered. Same thing they could have done now. |

In the end the alliance will still count on oil revenue if they someone contrive a win in the election? The complain now is that Nigeria is broke, perhaps bankrupt will be the new song if a gang-up against the oil producers is sensed. Thread wisely! |
Biafra is an idea. To kill an idea you have to present a far better idea. As far as Nigeria keeps failing to do that, Biafra will still remain a very valid option for millions of people. And you cannot kill an idea with the gun! Biafra lives on! @topic, Nice development. Better be ready, than to tell tales later. |
Abagworo: That is wrong. Very very wrong. It justifies the Governor's claim that Nigeria is broke. This means that ECA was illegaly used to complete our shortfalls in income without letting Nigerians and the Governors know. Okonjo needs to resign if she actually did this. How exactly is it illegal? Are the governors the finance minister? Does the economic team need the say so of the governors to do their job? What role does Nigerians play in disbursement of funds from the ECA or the Federation Account other than the usual shout of corruption and thieves, such as you are doing now? |
So APC is now PDP or how do we separate the wheat from the chaff? What are the caliber and pedigree of this new members of APC? What are they bringing to the table besides their anger and frustration? Do they bring harmony, strength in numbers, or are they just using APC as an outlet for their frustration, and solace from the prying eyes? As the game enters the new phase, let me join others in wishing them one and only Goodluck come 2015! |
Amaechi has become a cry-baby. Na wa o |

or he isn't an attention seeker because he's on "your side"?
