PoliticsRe: Rivers Got N257.6bn From Federation Account Not 56.2, Says Okonjo by PointB: 10:45am On Nov 26, 2013
Abagworo: There's a major difference between federation account and excess crude. The federation account is accruable to States willy nilly and has nothing to do with excess crude that has to be an extra income to the States. So if Rivers receives 1trillion from federation account it has nothing to do with the 5billion stolen by the FG.
Yes there is a difference between the two accounts. But that does not negate the fact that the two accounts converge for the purpose of sharing. Unless you didn't read the text. Read again and see how the two account converge. Pay attention to this:

“Of course, the money is taken from the Excess Crude Account and put into the Federation Account before being shared. That is the standard procedure.
Basically, some of the funds received the Federation Account are from the ECA!

A.jeez:
The coup planning was done in his househuh? Where did u get dat frm? Which of those who ever participated in that coup mentioned that??

I would implore you to read your post again..u said "HE WAS there when his unarmed collegues frm d east were murdered, But he didnt paricipated in the act..so wat is his crime? U expect him to single handedly fight off the attackers? U said they were un armed collegue of his, which implied that at that moment, he too was unarmed..now I hav had the priviledge of being in a military academy, and I know how over zealous young military officers are, if it were another person, I bet u, he won't hesitate to even lead the butchering..
I doubt you took your time to read through the interview. I guess you read this first post and have since based your arguments on that. Read the post below slowly for enlightenment.

There was also a revelation in the book that General Domkat Bali’s wife thought her husband was having an affair when she noticed that he always came home late, unlike him. When her suspicion became too much, one day he told her that he was not having an affair, but he was always coming back late because they were meeting in Buhari’s house to stage a coup. Buhari was the GOC in Jos at the time, and he told her not to tell anyone.

Incidentally, Domkat Bali’s wife is related to the wife of Solomon Lar, the then Governor of Plateau State. She realised that a coup would affect her relatives’ husband, and she could not take it, because she feared he could be killed. So, she told Lar’s wife, and Lar’s wife also told her husband.
Buhari murdering of his colleagues have been roundly discussed in this thread. You should recap:

https://www.nairaland.com/1281540/how-muhammadu-buhari-murdered-colleagues

That Buhari participated in the cold murder of his colleague is not even debatable despite his tepid response that he was too young then. Perhaps, he could have chucked it up as young exuberrant, and inexperienced and ask for forgiveness. He is just not man enough to face his past. Facing your past is not the same as dwelling in it. Buhari fits perfectly into the mold of a coward!
PoliticsRe: Asiri Ti Tu: Aregbesola, Omisore Disagree Over 181 Poll Monitors In Anambra by PointB: 8:15am On Nov 25, 2013
Can't PDP get someone better than Omisore to spearhead their attempt to reclaim Osun State? With Omisore as the frontrunner, I see Osun State remaining with APC in near future.

Not done with deporting fellow Nigerians, now Fashola want to tribalize a Nigerian hegemony. It shall not fly.

If Fashola want a Lagos Stock Exchange, let him set up one in Ikeja. The Nigerian Stock Exchange should remain Nigerian Stock Exchange!
PoliticsRe: "Why Northern Leaders Sneaked Yar’Adua Into Nigeria Without Telling Jonathan" by PointB: 11:57am On Nov 24, 2013
A.jeez:
That is the truth, read the post again, yakasai mentioned some senior military officers had asked obj to hand over to buhari, not buhari himself went to make the request.. D same thing played afterwards.he never carried out the coup, the same senior military officers carried out the coup and brought him to power to save face...if shagari, as the head of state is soo pre emtive abt buhari carrying out a coup, why didn't he hav him investigated and tried??...
Yes it's true that Buhari had no hand in the coup even though the planning was done in his house, just as it is true that he was too young to be involved in the July counter coup that triggered the civil war even though his unit murdered their unarmed colleagues while he was there. Buhari was never part of any scheming and coup plots, and murders- he is Saint Muhamadu! All hail him!!

shymexx: ^^^^^ grin grin grin grin Yoruba's are smart ar.ses and supreme technicians when it comes to politics!!

Salute!! grin

I need some of that sneaky brain in my life - I'm too real!! undecided
This would have been correct if those you are dealing with couldn't figure your move. But when everything is as as glaring as it to now to the North and your fellow Southerners, such so called 'smartness' is nothing but hypocrisy to the north and treachery in south. Now everyone one knows Yorubas words are not their bond. They will soon look across the Niger to see there are indeed those indeed who when they give the words they stand by it. It will be foolishness on part of any political strategist not to take note of this.

We stand by GEJ for 2015 election. That is our word, our bond - we are Igbos.

AtlanticBreeze: I have advised you to start speaking for your deluded self or for your master. Your opinion do not represent that of educated igbos. Its high time we stopped hired urchins like you from misrepresenting igbos on the internet. Keep your crude politicking and opinions to yourself.
Ngige rigged election in 2003 with Uba when in PDP, true of false?
Ngige swore an oath at Okija shrine - true or false?
Ngige controversial defeat of Dora in the senatorial election was by less than 300 votes' true or false?
Ngige pledged to shake the national assembly with his performance/bills, true or false?
Ngige sponsored zero bill in the NA in two years - true or false?
What did APC bring to the table beyond their damaged brand and Ngige in their quest to govern the state?

Guy,
Face the topic , answer the questions in my post or shut up. I don't have the time for your brand of inanity at this time of the day.
PoliticsRe: The People Of The Southsouth Must Give A Lot Of Thanks TO Alex Ekwueme by PointB: 7:45am On Nov 23, 2013
Every little political topic for most idiots is details to how Igbowill not achieve presidency in the miserable lifetime. Beyond this idiocy of comment, shouldn't we be asking ourselves why Igbo being president or not address the fact that Nigeria has been left behind by the world and if previous presidents have done their jobs, the issue of and Igbo being president or not will never arise let alone having some idiots curse themselves with potentially short lifetime.
PoliticsRe: You Will Suffer For Your ‘shameless And Selfish Politics’, APC Chieftain Joe Igb by PointB: 7:27am On Nov 23, 2013
Joe is just being plain silly. What did APC bring to the table in Anambra beyond the damaged brand of Ngige and APC that other parties failed to match? Ngige was an election rigger, he was caught on photo butt naked in Okija shrine. Ngige over promised en-route the senate, yet he under-delivered. Personally, I think it is the political naive that will believe Ngige will win Anambra election. Same Ngige that defeated Dora Akunyili with less than 300 votes after heavily rigging the election.

As for Joe, I predict that him and his bunch of synchophants will be the first and only people that will suffer as he hoped. NdI Igbo have no fear for tomorrow and we prefer to have our destiny in our hands.

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of The Commissioned Awka Substation by PointB: 3:01pm On Nov 21, 2013
geeez: And some people described it as a Power Plant

Now I see why the people can so easily be deceived
Substation geeez, can't you read!

A substation is a part of an electrical generation, transmission, and distribution system. Substations transform voltage from high to low, or the reverse, or perform any of several other important functions. Between the generating station and consumer, electric power may flow through several substations at different voltage levels.

A substation may include transformers to change voltage levels between high transmission voltages and lower distribution voltages, or at the interconnection of two different transmission voltages.

@topic,

Some say Sincere 9gerian is a living legend; others says he's a nightmare to the Resident Hypocrite (ACN/APC laptop #1), most say he is simply a Sincere Nigerian. They are all spot on!

Sincere 9gerian is:
The slayer of the Resident Hypocrite (ACN/APC laptop #1)
Bringer of balance, and
Champion of Fresh Air
Nairaland GeneralRe: Who Is Sincere9gerian? by PointB: 2:54pm On Nov 21, 2013
I no fit laugh oo. Some people take Nairaland far too seriously.

By the way, why hasn't the MOD banned Gbawe for all those insults and abusive language running through the pages? Let me guess, he is untouchable?

I like to see him contest as Lagos State Governor. Ngige is very much loved in the SW.

Well my people have selected these ones as contestants for the driving seat in one of South East prominent states. While these may or may not be the best, we owe it a duty to select one of them. My sympathy heart and head says it's the APGA's candidate that with emerge victorious. As a pragmatist however, I am ready to embrace and work with whoever wins. Let the election begin.

Long live Anambra
Long live Alaigbo
As for Nigeria, well, let's see how it goes.

He could still be transporting people to Odua Republic, Arewa Republic, Ghana or Ivory Coast etc.

cKaiser: Modern/Urban insurgency?

Giving it fancy names wont change anything. Like it was in 1967 so would it be forever especially when it involves the descendants of Adekunle vs Ojukwu

One would always win and one would always flee to Abidjan
How old are you?
PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by PointB: 7:20pm On Nov 14, 2013
cKaiser: Of course all is fair

And when the repercussion fall on Arthur Ezes kinsmen in Yorubaland

Its all fairrrr
Let's us cross that bridge when we get to it. When we don't plan, we improvise. There is nothing falling from heaven that the earth will no receive. We recovered from the 1967-70 genocide, we will recover from another. The question you should ask yourself is can SW recover from modern/urban insurgency from war? Think carefully before you answer!
PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by PointB: 7:11pm On Nov 14, 2013
ba7man: They've started feeding you guys the same ol bullsh*t they use to get you.........And you're falling for it.

Can't they campaign using their vision for the State and grand projects to win the people over......rather than those divisive statements??

Well, that's why its Anambra elections......Y'all go ahead and may the best man win.
All politics is local; let the local be told what they want to hear, even if it the truth. Awolowo killed Igbos; Awolowo said it was fair! Why can't Igbo politicians repeat it after him.

Personally, I would rather vote a goat than vote a party of Igbo killers. If Anambra voters agree that APC is an Awolowolo party and the politicians are capitalizing on that. Permit to say in Awolowo's voice - 'All is fair...'
PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by PointB: 7:06pm On Nov 14, 2013

They need reminding that KWARA/iLORIN is still under occupation and their king is not an oba but rather an Emir.
lol,

Pa Eziachi, it's good to have you back. That's some wicked punch! You play this devil's advocate role to perfection. I doff my hat! cheesy
PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by PointB: 7:03pm On Nov 14, 2013
Pukkah: When one looks again at the statement describing the APC as an Awolowo party, it becomes obvious that the hatred goes beyond the person of Awolowo and is for the Yorubas . Except you can prove or show how APC alone is the party of Awolowo.
.
The burden of prove is on you.
