Was the CP (Police) planning ab initio to kill people at the funeral? Cos I am not understanding? |
meeky007:Google is your friend! |
13 And she called the name of the first born Cain, saying, I have obtained a man from the Lord, and the name of the other she called Abel, for she said, In vanity we came into the earth, and in vanity we shall be taken from it. 14 And the boys grew up and their father gave them a possession in the land; and Cain was a tiller of the ground, and Abel a keeper of sheep. 15 And it was at the expiration of a few years, that they brought an approximating offering to the Lord, and Cain brought from the fruit of the ground, and Abel brought from the firstlings of his flock from the fat thereof, and God turned and inclined to Abel and his offering, and a fire came down from the Lord from heaven and consumed it. 16 And unto Cain and his offering the Lord did not turn, and he did not incline to it, for he had brought from the inferior fruit of the ground before the Lord, and Cain was jealous against his brother Abel on account of this, and he sought a pretext to slay him. 17 And in some time after, Cain and Abel his brother, went one day into the field to do their work; and they were both in the field, Cain tilling and ploughing his ground, and Abel feeding his flock; and the flock passed that part which Cain had ploughed in the ground, and it sorely grieved Cain on this account. 18 And Cain approached his brother Abel in anger, and he said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou comest to dwell and bring thy flock to feed in my land? 19 And Abel answered his brother Cain and said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou shalt eat the flesh of my flock and clothe thyself with their wool? 20 And now therefore, put off the wool of my sheep with which thou hast clothed thyself, and recompense me for their fruit and flesh which thou hast eaten, and when thou shalt have done this, I will then go from thy land as thou hast said? 21 And Cain said to his brother Abel, Surely if I slay thee this day, who will require thy blood from me? 22 And Abel answered Cain, saying, Surely God who has made us in the earth, he will avenge my cause, and he will require my blood from thee shouldst thou slay me, for the Lord is the judge and arbiter, and it is he who will requite man according to his evil, and the wicked man according to the wickedness that he may do upon earth. 23 And now, if thou shouldst slay me here, surely God knoweth thy secret views, and will judge thee for the evil which thou didst declare to do unto me this day. 24 And when Cain heard the words which Abel his brother had spoken, behold the anger of Cain was kindled against his brother Abel for declaring this thing. 25 And Cain hastened and rose up, and took the iron part of his ploughing instrument, with which he suddenly smote his brother and he slew him, and Cain spilt the blood of his brother Abel upon the earth, and the blood of Abel streamed upon the earth before the flock. 26 And after this Cain repented having slain his brother, and he was sadly grieved, and he wept over him and it vexed him exceedingly. 27 And Cain rose up and dug a hole in the field, wherein he put his brother's body, and he turned the dust over it. 28 And the Lord knew what Cain had done to his brother, and the Lord appeared to Cain and said unto him, Where is Abel thy brother that was with thee? 29 And Cain dissembled, and said, I do not know, am I my brother's keeper? And the Lord said unto him, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground where thou hast slain him. Book of Jasher, Chapter 1 |

That River looks underutilized. Very few boats/ferries. |
Which is more expensive? The borehole or the house? Obviously the house. A smart man will take the house. And if he so desires, sell the house and use the money for a borehole. Case closed! |
igbodefender: ![]() Nice try. O Igbodefender, proud and upright son of his father, and joy of his mother. The man of letter does not deny the legend (or myth) of Obatala. Hearken to my words this day, Obatala exists in the lore of the inhabitants of West. The lores of the East honours many legends. Lo, Obatala was not one of them. Only the minds of the Ooni doth such vituperations proceeds! |
They are too many... |
mmb:Who's good intention? Buhari? Tinubu? National Assembly? Or Nigeria? |
igbodefender:History of Southern Nigeria is not same for everyone. Obatala is a Yoruba deity. There it begins; there it ends! |
igbodefender:You didn't follow the guy I quoted. He didn't say Obatala was a priest. He said Obatala was some deity who made all things. To me, that's co/ck and bull. Every culture has their idea of creator. It's not Obatala for the Igbos. How are the Igwes sky father? Does adopting the title of gods make one a god? |
kayfra:Nay, Obatala is the projenitor of the Yoruba race. Igbos are created by Chukwu Okike(The Supreme God). So if the Ooni is saying that Igbos are lineage of Obatala (a mere eldest deity), he doesn't know what he's talking about. Igbos don't subscribe to such nonsense as sky father, we leave gullibility to those easily moved. The Ooni is not paying Igbos lipservice, the Ooni is as ignorant as they come, and he's simply basking in it's bliss. EOD! |
kayfra:You admire him for lying that Igbos are lineage of Obatala? Or you admire him for his genuine ignorance? |
kayfra:So the Ooni is the rat? ![]() |
kayfra:lol. Maybe your Ooni is ignorant? But you'll rather twist it to float your boat. ![]() |
Did he just say Igbos are from the lineage of Obatala? At 2:21 |
Is that not contempt of court? |
If it's a 'secret' meeting, trust me, journalist won't be there to cover it! |
@OP, That's what his wife called him on twitter just yesterday when she tweeted "...GMB" |
ProWalker:Calling your people bastard for making personal choice is quite low. But then it reflect more on your personality if anything. |
banom:You guys should just keep the debates clean. Those who want Biafra and those voting for Atiku believe they are helping Igbos. There is divided opinion already, the worst strategy will be alienating people with different opinion. If you do that, they will only entrench their position. So all sides should present their arguments with tact and decorum. It's battle of ideas not of personalities. |
banom:To each his own |
banom:lol. Meanwhile, the person you are arguing with can claim he has multiple Doctorate degree, in his late twenties, and a multi billionaire. True or false, this claims are pointless and don't help advance your points. |
Bighead9:Actually that's not true. Even if Buhari tarries, it won't be worse for Igbos. Igbos have been through harder time, and have long adapted several countermeasures. You should perhaps weep for your ethnic group. Last time I heard, Hunger does not know tribe! |
Those who believe in Biafra should boycott, those who want to give Nigeria a chance to work should vote. There is no silver bullet for the matter at hand. Both side are right in advocating what they believe in. In future their will be more convergence. |
naijapips04:I couldn't agree less with Sowore being a tout. He's also a blackmailer. This I know from personal experience. I wish him luck though. |
Kahujadekadura:Unfortunately, only few poeple listen to those people that Kanu has chosen to work with, because either they are not influential or their scope of influence is narrow. If you say politics is Obi's business and he won't destroy it, you invariably surmise that agitation is Kan's business and he's not going to move beyond agitations as that pays his bill. On both counts you could be wrong as everything is circumstantial. Obi is not even a VP yet let alone President. But we can't tell what he'll become or do tomorrow. If he doesn't support Biafra agitation, it's because he doesn't believe in it, and you have to respect his position. Everyone can not toll same line. |
Lol. He didn't start making deals today. Atiku can make deal even with the devil... This an account of Atikulate son of Atiku, son of Garba, son of Abubakar the farmer and trader.https://www.hotchapters.com/2018/10/22/chapter-1-the-book-of-atikulate-son-of-atiku/ |
Liebermantic:IPOB is an alternative proposal. It's always good to have two sides of the coin! |
highcollide:That's a very good question. But people will go to vote cos you have not convinced them they can achieve Biafra by not voting. I understand the place of civil disobedience in quest for self determination. But the way and manner IPOB is pursuing this now is ad hoc, and ill-timed. And they are also going against popular sentiment of the people. Without paying heed to people's sentiment, the message will be dead on arrival. Voting in election surely is not good for the quest for self determination; but at the moment many Igbo trust Obi and Atiku. IPOB needs to read and better understand these sentiments and act accordingly. Sun Tzu says in Art of WarBy asking us to boycott the election knowing fully well they will not, Nnamdi Kanu is hobbling Igbo. He should be smarter than that. |
