Kahujadekadura: . What I gave to u is just an hint of his political career. To make u aware that he had in past been into d system u are pressurizing him to enter again. It is left for u to go and read his political history or listen to his last speech to confirm for urself how long he had endure in dat process. Again mind u dat 8yrs of and 4yrs of Obiano bf he deserted himself from politics is not a small period of time. Any Child at age of 12 that is still reasonable can not be look upon to be useful in life.
Well, my point again is that what he's done in the past and what he's doing now is not achieving the desired effect. It's up to him to come up with message and method that works (since he's not listening to others). At the moment Peter Obi and other political elites appear to have stolen a march on him. If I were him, I'll will work with them to see how best Igbo situation can be addressed.
But he should not expect everyone to follow him like he's the only good shepherd.
highcollide: we are not doomed. Igbos will survive no matter the circumstances. We will just not partake in the 419 they call election.
True.
Igbo will survive in Nigeria or Biafra; whatever the circumstance.
That's why several Igbos are willing to give either a chance.
So for example, if an Igboman believes he can survive in Nigeria, why should he give Biafra a chance. This is a question that hasn't been conclusively answered by proponents of Biafra.
If Biafra is going to be better than Nigeria, how is this being convened?

Kahujadekadura: . If u had listen or d last speech of Kanu, u will know that he had tried to mingle himself into politics and he discovered dat it didn't work. Kanu was once a Chairman of APGA ( European based) and he was there wit mentality dat APGA will uphold Ojukwu aim but later he was failed by dis useless man called Obi.
How and why did Kalu fail? What lessons did he learn? Did he know that one only fails when he gives up?
To call Obi useless if to provoke his supporter to turn on Kanu. Not a smart move.
You should respect varying opinion.
Kanu is admired for his persistence, Obi for his sagacity. To each his own.
He was released by the FG of Nigeria in order to use him to induce voter apathy in the south east
Nnamdi Kanu has been bought by Buhari
Igbos must disregard the fool!
We don't know for sure whether he was bought or if he was a smart as he claimed in escaping. But one thing for sure, we can't depend on one man's whims and caprices. We are a big and proud nation of capable people.
gidgiddy: Nnamdi Kanu is not the focus of attention. The important thing to me is the freedom of Igbo land as an independent country from the British made disaster called Nigeria.
It just so happens that I agree with a lot of things Kanu says. If the Igbos do not get their freedom, if they like the can vote from now to the year 3000, they will not get anywhere.
You are right.
Igbo need to be free from the enclave called Nigeria. But I think more thought and planning need to go into it; and elites need to be carried along in the process. Knee jerk, ad hoc, impromptu calls every now and then by IPOB, nay Nnamdi Kanu, will not cut it.
I'm sure we are smart enough to know a workable plan. Without such framework, only few will follow Kanu's shifting agenda and methodology. We need proper plan; enough with the improvisation.
highcollide: my brother, this people are a very unreasonable set of people.
highcollide: my brother, this people are a very unreasonable set of people.
It's a wrong premise to start by calling your 'people' unreasonable. That you can't convince them to your way of thinking doesn't make them unreasonable. You sir, don't have monopoly of wisdom.
Personally, I don't think boycott will work at this time. IPOB has not been able to provide the people (on ground) with solid intellectual reason and comprehensive roadmap to achieving "freedom" for us. IPOB record is not compelling, if it was, it won't be hard to convince people to follow them.
gidgiddy: Election boycott is part of the many things to be done to achieve independence. When the majority of an area decide not to participate in elections through boycott, it is a strong signal to the local and International community that they want their freedom
If you boycott election in Nigeria, someone will use your 'pvc' to vote. In the end, the boycott will be redundant.
IPOB should form a political party and push their agenda in through partisan politics.
gidgiddy: My fellow Igbos, anam ekene unu nile ebe obuna unu no
Nigeria is a situation where passengers of a Bus, with a dead engine, are all fighting over who will be the driver. You can hire the best driver in the world, but without a sound engine, you are going nowhere. Even a bad driver can get you to your destination with a sound engine.
The fact that Atiku wants to be the driver, and has brought a "conductor" called Obi, still does not change the fact that the engine is dead. Buhari is a complete and utter disaster.
That's is why I know that no matter who wins between Buhari and Atiku, nothing is going to change.
We have been voting for 20 years, since 1999 to 2019, and we have become poverty capital of the world. What good has 20 years of voting done us? Yet every 4 years they will come and shout "Voting is your civic duty", "Voting is your power", "vote X because he will be better than Y"
You vote and watch a group of thieves go on a 4 year looting spree, only for the same Hawks to return in 4 years to ask you to repeat the same stupid process again. How many times will it happen before you get wise and opt out?
If Nigerians were serious about Nigeria, they would be far more concerned about addressing the issue of the engine before finding a driver.
There no difference in APC and PDP and Buhari and Atiku are just bad as each other. As we speak, politicians of all shades and colour are strategising on how to rig the coming elections, most of those going out to vote are only there for 'window dressing'
Whether you're an Igbo who wants the engine adressed(restructuring/constitutional change), or one like me that wants to get off the Bus entirely(Referendum/Independence), I urge you to boycott the elections for the following reasons:
1) Voting has not helped anybody in 20 years except looters 2) The very minimum we Igbos should be seeking is either independence or restructuring, not vice-presidency or presidency. 3) PDP/APC, Atiku/Buhari are all disasters. They sre all tried and tested failures that will change nothing no matter who gets elected 4) Osun and Ekiti elections last year is enough to tell any wise person that the elections will be rigged and violence unleashed. Do your self a favour and stay home
Boycott the 2019 elections! Nothing will change no matter who wins or loses! Don't remain the fool who goes to vote every 4 years for the next disaster to come to office
So after boycotting the election, what next?
Is there a grand plan? Or the boycott is just an end by itself?
It's only the few 2023 online schemers from the south that think that PMB is a god in the north. But the reality is that hunger does not care who your god is. Hunger will fire you so bad if you have o access to food.
PMB has ravished the land with hunger. So no honest and sane person cares about his alleged godhood anymore. Dude, Hungerbad for real.
Meanwhile, if you are from the north, would you vote for just 4 more years of leadership or for 8 possible years of same?
Thing is, Northerners are smarter than you give them credit for. Go figure.
SalamRushdie: The ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has read the riot act to Nigerian politicians over the coming elections vowing to prosecute anyone found aiding and abetting electoral violence in the coming elections. This is coming behind threats by notorious Nigerian Governor and hawk who threatened to put foriegn observers inside body bags .. see her video below
Bros, I don't support partisan politics, but support the moves to kick the lifeless one and the cabal out. But bros, the statement was released in 2015 not 2019. So even though it may apply now, it wasn't because of current event!
But death is inevitable - Valar Morghulis! If he had died, many will mourn as you would, and as my family would when I die. But ultimately they will realize that his bio-chemical composition is not different from many who have been wasted by the omission or commission of Mr. Buhari, ably aided and abetted by Mr Osibanjo, your father!
O mortal why do thou expect more from one who goes by the name 'madone ' Is his insanity not clearly professed for the world to behold? Why do thou expect cognition from one who is lifeless ? Lower thou thy expectation, and yearnings So that thou mayest find peace!
Fuckuignos: I’m not that rigid. He echoed all I hv bn saying here and exposed the hypocrisy of many. If you cannot for once condemn the CJN and his band of recalcitrant SANs who has turned Nig’s judiciary to Ariaria business district, you hv no moral right to condemn the president’s action
Actually, in Law, procedure trumps substance.
The CJN could as well rape a thousand women, and murder another five hundred men, but he remains 'innocent' until proven guilty in court of law (not in the eye of the media, people, or president). Buhari cannot and should not resort to self help. What he's doing is lynching a suspected thief. That in itself is illegal.
The system spelled out how to deal with 'culpable' CJN. Buhari should follow the spirit and letter of the constitution.
What is the US embassy suppose to do for them? Is the US Embassy class governor or referee? Besides, US is already aware of the problem and have already made their concern know.
PDP should look for creative way to respond to the hand dealt by evil APC. This is a game!
At this rate, one can only imagine the kind of influence Atiku can engineer for Nigeria, unlike the lifeless one.
If you can buy Trump, who else can't you buy?
But Atiku had uncanny understanding of men – their strength and weakness, and he finds great delight in using them to further his end. And he found powerful men who desire that he may obtain the secrets in the white man’s scroll. And it came to pass that Garba son of Abubakar, father of Atiku was thrown into prison for denying Atiku the desire to acquire white man’s knowledge in the center of learning. It was Atiku’s mother who offered the surety for his release. Legend has it that the boy Atiku had a hand in these things. It was told that he was able to move men to do his biddings
