“We have several programs for the Niger Delta; we have the amnesty. We have the Amnesty Program; we have a ministry for the Niger Delta affairs. We have a special adviser on Niger Delta; we have Niger Delta Development Commission [NDDC]. We have 13 percent derivation, seven different programmes, pandering to them!
“Yet, all the funds that accrue every month to the six states of the North East with a population over 20 million is not up to what accrues to Bayelsa State with a tiny population.
This guys just don't get, and have refused to get it!

It's not about money, and more it it! It's education system, STUP!D!

Recently
Prof. Ango Abdullahi, said only 17, out of the 18,000 secondary school students who sat for the National Examination Council examinations in Gombe State, earned qualification for university admission.
The question here is why 17 students (perhaps southerner) out of 18,000 secondary schools students?

The answers, and solution to this puzzle is the future of the Core North. Fail to solve this puzzle, then get ready for bigger problem. To the assumption that we are one - I say Shettima is dreaming, if the burden of the North become too much and unbearable, we will excise you! Best you put your house in order!

I wonder oo.

In an era of camera, a Minister does not even consider it important to sit on a common mat. This, is not simplicity, this is sheer ignorance.

I rather use a personal hovercraft, and be called 'pompous and ostentatious' than sprawl on a dirty bare floor like a begger in the name of simplicity!
Ignorance is, indeed, bliss!
PoliticsRe: Have You Given Up On Nigeria? by PointB: 11:06am On May 11, 2012
I do not care about the greatness of the blackman, or see Nigeria as the hope of Africa!

I care about myself, my immediate family, my relative, and my ethnic group. Nigeria is a contraption form by those with economic interest - to steal from Peter and enrich Paul.

If this contraption remains unchange, so will my prayer that her illness cause the death of her.

A free, just, and fair Nigeria, I'll welcome, but for that to happen, this hopeless Nigeria must burn to ashes!

Simplicity indeed! Perhaps a simple reason why poverty - of ideas and deeds, ravages Core North. Simplicity! huh huh

My brother Chinenyen you are right we are all taking this seriously.

I believe issues that concern Ndi Igbo must be taken seriously. I believe we should march on towards the path of cultural, social, economic, and political rebirth. The cyberspace provides us with the avenue, let's grab it!
PoliticsRe: Eze Ndi Igbo Parliamentary Office - Constitutional Conference in Progress... by PointB(op): 8:30am On May 11, 2012
Thank you Eze OnlyTruth,

I always believe issues that concern Ndi Igbo should be taken serious, even though we pat our backs here and there, and trade banters with friend and foes.

The Cyberspace is the new frontier of the physical world, and we should not lose sight of what we can achieve here - seriously or jokingly! On this note we should continue to urge our kiths and kins to identify with us, and lets continue to set the agenda together. The time for us, our allies and friend to unite, and forge a common front is NOW. Things are moving slow and fast concurrently - we need to 'converge' for change! We need to stake our claim in the bigger scheme of things in Igboland, Southern Nigeria, Nigeria, and beyond. It all begins here!

Ndi Igbo,
While we continue to thrive in our various fields of endeavours - independently as it has always been, the time to converge politically is NOW. Look around you if you doubt. Let's seize the moment, let's seize cyberspace! Let's get across to Eze Onlytruth and rub minds together. Let's be our brother's keeper, online, and in real world!

Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected
Same can be said of the state of Igboland, and Nigeria! While one should not pray for evil, preparation must be made far in advance for any eventuality. We should hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. Be your brother's keeper!

PoliticsRe: Can A Northerner Ever Be De-tribalized In Nigeria? by PointB: 5:15pm On May 10, 2012
While El-Rufai is busy blowing the trumpet of negotiations with Boko Haram, Sanusi Lamido is leaving no one in doubt that his constituency is first and foremost, northern Nigeria. I therefore ask myself a few crucial questions: “Will there ever be a de-tribalized northern Nigerian in this country to look across the borders of the northern states?” “Do northern leaders not have an obligation to pacify the rest of the country and chart a new peaceful path forward?" “Is Nigeria not for us all or is there a separate country for the Northerners?” “Are northern Nigerians truly immersed in the illusion that Nigeria is theirs to rule and theirs alone?”

If the realization dawns on our northern brothers and sisters that they have ruled this country for such a long period of time and are therefore largely responsible for most of the fundamental problems that we suffer, will they not understand that they owe a duty to restore peace and pacify the rest of the country rather than rejoicing quietly over Boko Haram’s atrocities? There is indeed nothing wrong in adopting the enticing carrot approach to convince justifiably aggrieved southerners to sheath their sword and let Nigeria begin afresh. Instead, the northerners are aggressively beating the drums of war in a battle that no one stands to win but will ultimately end in the destruction of a promising Nigeria. It is so unfortunate that the foremost elites prefer to play the religious card to win the hearts and minds of ordinary northerners knowing fully well that the spread of Islam by the force of arms is absolutely impossible in today's world order of aggressive globalization.
This summarizes the whole article.

Let the North continue to secretly (and not so secretly) rejoice over the mass murder carried out by Boko Haram rather than calling their children to order. In the end, we shall see where this path lead, and who will have the last laugh!
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu Would Have Ruled Nigeria —Gowon by PointB: 2:10pm On May 10, 2012
Jamisco: Is only that people naturally dont want a truth. Ojukwu masterminded the division of Nigeria and Gowon said no. the killing in the North and especially the NC is a just one of the challenges the Bible says Jesus followers will experience, it has nothing to do with the Biafra war. but if you claim that its Gowon's punishment, then asked your brothers from the North and they will tell you the numbers of Igbos that were killed since the Jos crises started and the billions of naira the lost. what we need now is not to push blames but to come together in prayers, supporting Gowon's initiatives so that we can overcome our enemies.
But we are already praying. That God will hasten this disintegration of this cesspit! That the multiple crisis be-deviling this joke of a country stained with innocent blood cause a schism - peacefully or forcefully! What else can we do, force God's hand?

Obj is a now a failed politician! I'll more likely shiver at the sight of a dead dog than Obj who was pelted with satchet water in the East, who avoids road journey in the West, and has no friend in the North!

His political worth is in the negative. No one but desperadoes will have anything to do with this deadweight!
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu Would Have Ruled Nigeria —Gowon by PointB: 9:50pm On May 08, 2012
Very funny comment coming from Gowon! What the old coward is saying is that he is very proud and happy with the mass murder in Jos and greater North. He is pleased with the wanton corruption and all the shenigans going on in Nigeria. In his opinion, these are the added benefit of preventing Biafran secession or stopping Ojukwu ruling Nigeria. This in his opinion is the Aburi Accord he implement. WONDERFUL!

Anyway, it is common knowlegde that when a man growns to certain age, he becomes a child. Fortunately for us a six year old knows better than this man whose senility is alarming to say the least. The good people of Jos should call him to order, his type sold the soul of his people!
PoliticsRe: Imo Palm Plantation: Okorocha Threatens To Invite EFCC by PointB:
@Egift,
I agree with EFCC should be more proactive, and investigate some of these allegation. Besides, EFCC should be the one issuing threats to 'would-be-troublemakers and fraudsters'.

Palm produce was one if not the most important cash crop pre-oil economy, and would take it position when the crude oil finally dries (hopefully soon). Any and all efforts put in place by the Imo State government to revive this critical facility (or the oil production industry)is commendable. For Nigeria South East Zone to be better, all hands must be on deck, and we must capitalize on our area of strength and endowment.

As much as I don't support the idea of sacking these doctors over labour and wage issue, I think the doctors have used this blackmail - strike, one too many. It's time someone calls their bluff.

That said, 'repentant' doctors can also re-apply. Those out of job will always be welcome in emerging states like Enugu, Imo, Calabar, Akwa-Ibom. They should head down south - without the strike baggage of course!

PoliticsRe: El-rufai: Northern Leaders Have No Conspiracy Link With Boko Haram by PointB: 9:04am On May 06, 2012
El rufia should save this putrid rant for the marines who will likely believe him. Aside from the fact that most Nigerians are sympathetic to the President in view of the fact that the boko haram monster was armed and urged on by the Northern elites in response to power loss, the Northern leaders who El Rufia so mischievously defends will turn their noses at El Rufia because they don't believe in what he is saying.
The northern elites threatened to make Nigeria (perhaps northern) ungovernable should they lose power, today we are witnessing death and destruction, but this foul mouthed Rufia would want to distract us from reality of their utterances! He should sell his story to the birds. Intelligent Nigerians know that the Northern leaders and their people are complicit in these blood lust and letting!

This hollow speaking rufia clown should tell us where the Northern leaders were when their foot soldiers descended and massacre, in cold blood, innocent youth corpers post 2011 elections.

On which ground does Rufia stand - negotiate with boko haram he scream yesterday, today he is saying something different. What is it with sly snakes and chameleons - Always changing form?
Rufia and his co traveller are double mouthed evil schemers who intend to benefit from the blood of the innocent. But this will never happen as the blood of the dead will haunt them in every step they take. And one last thing, those who house, and nurture sinister monsters are eventually consumed by them. Soon Boko will be isolated and rejected even by their sponsors for fear or profit, then will they strike their benefactors like cornered animal. So shall it be!

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Lagos - Abuja Threat: Should Jonathan Appear On AIT? by PointB: 10:58am On May 05, 2012
Whatever option he choses, intelligent Nigerians will support him because they know the magnitude of challenge the born-to-rule northern elites and their boko haram foot soldiers have posed the first ever southern minority president of Nigeria. The desperation for power and blood by these brigands will never be used as a yardstick to measure the success or failure of this president. Lest we forget the foundation for the current problem was well laid by ex president Obasanjo who, inspite of the secular consitution of Nigeria, allowed many Northern state to exalt the sharia law above the Nigeria constitution. This myopia is what boko haram has capitalised on in calling for sharia law all over the country. A pipe dream which will never materialize. In any case the boko haram challenge offers Nigeria the opportunity to review their coporate existence especially if these bloodsuckers carry out the threat by bombing Lagos. It is an opportunity we should not let pass. I trust President GEJ to both beefen up security and embark on crackdown, there is no cause for alarm.
PoliticsRe: Moving The Federal Capital Territory From Abuja To Port Harcourt by PointB: 5:56pm On May 04, 2012
The Capital does not necessarily need to be moved to another city. However, the President can decide to put in place facilities/resources (fixed or otherwise) that will enable him to do his job from any city/state in Nigeria, for as long as he deems fit!
PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Gowon, adeboye, oritsejiafo Meet In Ibadan by PointB: 10:02am On May 04, 2012
Udo diri gi my brother 9ja_I_hail,

That 'king' would the Syria General Naaman, who initially refused to cure his leprosy by taking a bath recommended by the prophet Elisha because it was below his dignity to bath in the Jordan river.

Anyway, let Nigeria leader (political and spiritual)continue to play ostrich instead of taking needed step to rid the country of bloods and wandering spirit. Some are already talking about superstition. Let me remind those that Christ spirit lingered for 40 days after his resurrection. I would not be surprised to learn that Biafran deads, especially violently and brutally murdered in cold blood pre-war are still lingering around and haunting their killers and their offsprings. Bringing them to justice or taking justice to them.

Some people need to see 'Ghost Whisperer' and learn more about the dead and their effect on the living. In any case, do you have any update of the propose 'reburial' in Igboland of those who died during the war? I hope it it done quick enough. Let's cleanse Igboland, while Nigeria grope in their own self inflicted darkness!
PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Gowon, adeboye, oritsejiafo Meet In Ibadan by PointB: 9:38am On May 04, 2012
Nigeria under the leadership of Gowon murdered peace. Peace will ever elude this blood soaked country until the innocent victims are appeased. Until them we can only look on as the endless search of peace by blind leaders continue. Nigeria is an accursed land!

Niaja_I_hail_u, you are spot on! You spoke like a true son of your fathers.

And don't expect people to pay 10000 naira for a trip to anywhere in Lagos.
My friend keep quite. If an 'ordinary' taxi driver can afford Fashola's Taxi for 4.5 million, does it not translate to passengers paying with their blood for a ride!

But clowns like you who are quick to criticize fuel subsidy removal will for bigoted reason support this wicked anti-small business proposal of Fashola, because you believe non-indigenes will be the most affected. Your 'mumurity' knows no bound. Anyway, we dey watch. Let's see who will laugh last!
