Caveat It has long come to our notice that many parade this forum bearing monikers similar to Igbo names and parade themselves as igbo sons and daughters. While we have no quarrel with anyone who wants to identify with the uniqueness of Igbo people and culture, we however frown at those who mis-use this opportunity to slander and cause division among the same people they want to associate with. To this end, kindly be informed that despite his pretense and high wire game of brinkmanship, Okija_juju and his many alias was, and is not fit and proper to be called - Igbo. Time and time again he has cracked under observation, and has no idea what it takes to be an Igboman. A simple userid with an Igbo name does not make him or anyone Igbo. Anyone who entertains him in the name of bantering or exchanging ideas with an Igboman does so at his/her expense. This message is without prejudice to what the Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland and his illustrious cabinent members may conclude. It is however an advance warning that Okija_juju is a crafty pretender and a dangerous interloper who should be approached with extreme caution by Igbos and their allies! To be forewarned is to be fore armed. Pointb |

sally bonne: Na u talk am,I no talk dt one am jst trying to imply dt dey protect their own unlike us,divide and rule na in we sabiDrop it already Sally! For your information the comment you hinge your argument was made by a none Igboman. Okija_juju or whatever he calls himself these days, is not an Igboman, please don't let him confuse you my dear. Igbo politics of yesterday is for yesterday, the current politics will be played with finesse that even the opponents will marvel. |
ozoebuka1: i cant believe u guy are putting the people of enugu state above imolites.. dats weird u know.. rochas has an upper hand and he is da best candidate.. he has his personal money, he wont be going there eat nigerian money but just to help us out!!Discounting what the discredited Okija vomited, no one is putting anyone above the other. But if you will oblige me let me explain this to you. A lot of Nigerians, especially Igbo will be roused into supporting Rochas candidacy because of his performance (which if continued should peak in about 2.5 years from now). However, Chime currently is tested and ready, What more? He could easily use the tried and tested PDP platform to lunch his campaign. If Chime scales the PDP primary hurdle, he stands a great chance of winning the presidency in a general election. Which is a plus for him in the calculation! However, if Chime failed, or is compromised to accept a VP slot, then enter Rochas, who is expected to spread like wild fire - Rochas is both articulate and charismatic, he is also a visionary with a penchant for speed. Rochas will make a good president anyday. So there are the pragmatic options; Chime, if we must use the tried and tested PDP platform, or Rochas, if we must kill the PDP in SE. Finally, we should let Ohaneze screen and nominate an individual, when that happens we should cast aside all sentiment and give such person our support. Simple! |
kokoA: And you think these your so called 'neighbours' give a rat azz about your people?Whether our neighbours give a rat-arse about us or not is not the issue. What matter to us, is that a develop Bayelsa, Calabar, Akwa-Ibom, Delta, and Edo state is much meaningful and of strategic importance to the SE economic and political interest than say Borno, Kastina, Zamfara and the usual suspects. You might think we are sinking politically, but I urge you to look around you, when it is time for to gain political relevance, where will you turn to? Funny thing is that you think you are in position of strength - well he that think he stands better take heed before he falls. That's food for though! |
^^^ Quit this mischievous and boring line already. There is no Igbo who didn't know that GEJ is an Ijawman. The vote for GEJ by Igbos had no ethnic coloration despite what people like you believe. Igbos voted for GEJ to heal the scars of war, and the close ranks with our immediate neighbours. And we have no regrets whatsoever for that. Annang, Ibibio, Efik, etc are also at the back of our minds. They were our allies in the war, and when the time come, they won't even need to ask for our support, they'll get 100% of our vote. If that does not cut it for you, then perhaps your should continue living under illusion. |
Another Okija: 2015 is the year of Jonathan..You've started spewing your garbage here? What the heck is proper Igbo? In what why is the Anambra Igbo more proper than their heartland Igbo counterparts? This is the kind of talk that create divisions in Igboland, and that is why your Igboness is always a suspect. I now know why you hate Rochas with such passion - he, in your little mind, is not a proper Igbo. Shame on you! At topic, Igbos will follow the lead of Ohaneze leadership on this matter. Fortunately, our challenge is not that of dearth of leadership, it is the abundance of it. From the arrays of likes of Chime, Rochas, Soludo, Ameachi, Akunyili, Okonjo Iweala etc we can, at the very least match, whichever candidate our rivals for the position will churn. I know some will say Amechi is SS, anyway that does not in anyway diminish his Igboness. The hard part really is reaching out to fearful, distrustful, paranoid neighbours across the Western Niger (Musiwa please show from the satellite picture), who resent Igboman for various unfounded reasons, to such extent that we think they would be happier if we leave the union for them! As for GEJ, well, we have an understanding, we only have to whisper it into his ears, and of course offer him safe passage (for all have sinned and have come short ...) |
EzeUche: Speak for yourself. Igbo support will evaporate.Speak for yourself too. Whether Igbo support will evaporate on not will be based on realities on ground. In any case, Igbo presidency which I am also an advocate of, is anchored on the need to further develop Igboland. If GEJ can deliver such in his first term why shouldn't we support him for a second term while we consolidate? Shouldn't then such support be based of key performance indices, measured against certain expectations? Was Edwin Clark not hating on Igbos before 2011? Why is the old man important to our decisions now? |

ASOROCK b: Boko haram! Nigeria must come to an end someday.Abi oo. Soon or later, we shall sing a dirge for Luggard's contraption. Then those who want to die hopelessly like Nigeria will head for a bottle of otapiapia when the shout of glee shall erupt. Those who place the bet and hope on this illusion lasting forever the way it is will be left in the cold where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
And again, PointB: ^^^ |
Kobojunkie: How dare you make me side with that bloke?Your comment is more daft and pathetic than the fellow you tried to put down! What's determines the main issue in an article? The headline, the misdirection by a propagandist, or the content of the article? Lamido spend more time and energy reflecting on the import of Buhari's unguarded utterance, which was one the reasons the 19 Northern governors met ab initio. In over four paragraphs, his focus was on Buhari's violence driven ambition! If that does not cut it for you as the main topic, then you should do well to allow those who see differently to voice their concern. You, 'junkie, do not have the monopoly of insight! |
kingoflag: Need I remind you who Gen.Azazi and Henry Okah pointed us to as being behind some of the bombings going on? Bloody bigots. Tell your Riverine John Wayne that we're still waiting on his side of the story on the N155Billion scam. The CAN's President comment about Bamanga Tukur is metaphorical you Arrow! Only desperate fools will believe the words of a sinking terrorist that Henry Okah represents. And I don't need your explanation on what Gen Azazi said. I know where his fingers are pointed. 'Riverine John?' Huh? I know you hate the 'riverine' people, for all you care, they should all turn in oil for your use. Now who is the bloody bigot? And who the hell are 'we'? |
^^^ What are you waiting for? Close it down already! ITK |
nagoma: What do you mean " they will one day produce a president" ? They have produced one already. Jona cannot say no to them.If that's the case why are you troubled? Was it not the same oil money the produced the likes of Obj, Yar Adua and those before them? You didn't see it wrong then because it produced your man! |
icez: Does buhari have any children?Well said bros! |
@op, You are correct. We are not united - especially North and South. We have never been united for over 50 years. But that's where the bad news end. The good news is that we will NEVER be united, even if we live another 100 years together if we continue living together without the necessary dialogue. The early we dissolve this fake union, the better for everyone. |
^^^ Dear Mod, I think this first item on Kobo's list deserves a frontpage recommendation. https://www.nairaland.com/940561/buhari-ibori- who-you-vote Pls see it done. As per the others, closing them will be an unnecessary assault on freedom of speech. You should disregard Kobo's paranoia. You mods are doing a great job. Kudos! |
Completion and commissioning of Enugu International Airport, Onitsha Port, Second Niger Bridge, Coastal Roads, at least 12-18 hrs daily electricity supply are the basic expectations of the SE voting block. We have seen progress on the first two, and we believe they are all achievable within the next two year. If GEJ delivers these, we will deliver the votes. Fail in any of these, and will deliver the votes to our anointed. Power will remain in SE/SS block in 2015 anyway! |
Gbawe: Alhaji, the person calling you a hypocrite is himself the biggest hypocrite here. I "insult" Alethia but I guess he sees nothing wrong in his pals first contribution that is an incendiary and off-topic attack which insinuates I only criticise GEJ because I have a problem with him and is "bitter" about his Presidency. So the focus have shifted to explaining yourself to Ahj Harem of all people. Oh that need for acceptance, the need to be loved, and taken serious, ever so present in every child. Didn't know that a grown up child will exhibit this need - evidence of maladjusted childhood perhaps . Indeed what they say about a drowning man is true - he reaches for straws. Such a piteous sight. Anyway dude, I see nothing wrong with Alethela's comment. He was genuinely surprised at the way you brought GEJ into the topic in your very second post. I am quite sure he was alarmed to see you bitterly reduced the president to - Mend President! That simply prompted him to asked the logical question if you would commit suicide if GEj is returned as president in 2015. This honest question is what prompted the insults you poured on him. And to your overused 'clannish' tag, is it that you are running out of vocabulary? Alethela had asked earlier, cos it seems that anyone who disagrees with your propaganda is either 'clannish', 'inscure', 'inferior' or a combination of all, regardless of such persons ethnic group, etc. And when you are sussed you out as a propagandist, you respond by accusing people of following you around. Follow you what? Are you Jesus or Muhammed? Dude, you are a sad little man; and the paranoid one by all observation is you. If you so much desired to comment unopposed for any reason, you should take to talking to stones! And if you think you are very special or important, well I've got news for you - such thought should not extend beyond the four walls of your home - this is CYBER! Here you count for nothing - you and your sick opinions and propaganda. Get that into your thick skull, and it will go a long way into helping you find that adjustment your tortuous childhood demands. I really pity you. |
alj harem: Haba how can I be a hypocrite when I am not on anyone's side ?What kind of question is that? Perhaps you should pick a dictionary and look up the word 'hypocrite' while you are at it also check the meaning of 'propaganda.' |
alj harem: Gbawe is making it clear that corruption is irrespective of ethnicity, I don't understand the reason for the insults here ?We know you are a hypocrite but try to be objective at time. The first insult in this thread was by your 'revered' Gbawe asking Alethela to 'get lost' and calling him 'I.diot' at the same time. But because you are no different from that hypocritical propagandist, expecting you to be objective will be akin to squeezing water from a rock! |
Funkymallam: Everybody is following him around in his lil mind.I am not surprised bros, Anyone who has a counter argument to his (gbawe's) warped comment is 'following' him around. He sense of self importance is beyond believe. I am very sure as a child he must have had a torrid time trying to be heard as he was deservedly relegated to some incongruous space. Such a sad little man his parent gave the world. I do pity him too. |
Gbawe: sharrap and get lost loser. Paranoid fo.ol.Make me! Shameless, bloody propagandist! |
Gbawe: The likes of you are best ignored. Nothing but a broken record of paranoia, indoctrination and inferiority complex. You have been programmed from the womb to hate blindly and it shows in every pathetic comment you make. The likes of you are dangerous propagandist and should be closely watched by well meaning Nairalanders. Your evil machinations will be met with opposing logic. Your mischievous posts and dark comments are clear indicator of malformation in your early childhood! |
Gbawe: Sad and shameless folks. Your indoctrination from the womb means , rather than be well-adjusted folks able to relate with others to get the best out of life, the most important thing in the world for you twerps is to go around looking for percieved enemies and making yourselves victims. This clown really think to much of himself! Follow you around? Who has time for an arsehole? I only once a while throw spanners in your propaganda work, so that you know u cannot fool everyone all the time. I don't have time to dedicate to your vain self, if you really care to know. But your sad self would rather always think too much of yourself, simply because no one else does! You are the victim of self here, and it is your parent who gave the world a sad man who would have better off wasted in a Mouth Action! |
Gbawe: What is it with you indoctrinated people? OK. You see through my "propaganda". On a faceless, anonymous chat forumMove on to where/what? Dude is something wrong with you? If you cannot bear someone commenting on stuff you posted, for crying out loud you should leave Nairaland. People like me abound here, and will continue to whether clowns like you like it or not. Let's assume for argument sake, that I am indeed indoctrinated, so fvcking what? Are you not even more indoctrinated by Tinubu, AC.N and their clannish ideaology? As per the article, who determines the main topic? The headline, propagandist like you, or the message therein? In my opinion, while propagandist will have us focus on whatever suits their agenda, passers by, and keen observers will not lose sight of the fact that Lamido spent a considerable amount of time and energy discussing the calamity Buhari had wished upon the country. That dude, contrary to what you would have us believe, is the main topic of the news you posted. Twist it anyhow you wish, but you cannot derail the message of Lamido. And Lamido message once again is that: Buhari is dangerous and must be stop by Northerners working hand in hand with the south. Finito! |
Jonathan may contest for 2015 presidency, but the SE votes will be dependent on how far he has measured up to various expectations of the SE voting block. Taking a shot at it by ourselves is still very much on the table! |
Gbawe: Anything to say on the main topic of thread i.e "The President North wants" and regional agitation for the Presidency?Half of what Lamido said were directed at Buhari and his unguarded utterance. What can be more topical than Buhari, war, bloodbath, and strife. Perhaps to someone like you, all that matter is power going back to the North at all cost. Other see differently and indeed see through your propaganda! |
I guess the PDP will recall that Ohakim lost to Rochas primarily because of his fallout with the Church in Imo State. Their leadership should be very mindful of what they say about Christian leaders. Not that I care about PDP anyway! |
^^^ A daniel is come to justice! Nice work pal. |
The only reason Buhari talk about war and bloodbath is because he is a jihadist, and a bloody terrorist. I won't be surprised if he is linked to Al Qaeda or other islamic terrorist group. Perhaps the title for this thread should be: 'The President North doesn't want. It is very clear to the unbiased minds that Lamido is actually saying No to Buhari. The smart guy (Lamido) doesn't want to die just yet. Listen to Lamido “ When we think of it, at one time, we |

My brother, politics has nothing to do with 'neighbours'. The south-south are already drunming support for their son despite his far below average performance so far.
