kuntash:Be wise and read between the line. Do you know sarcasm? |
IgedeBushBoy:Buhari and stature is an oxymoron. Buhari is but a dunce exalted beyond his station by the virtue of fraudulent enrollment into the military! Now can you spare us your sermon! |
Habyz:This has nothing to do with governance of Lagos State, let alone APC or PDP - different sides of same coin! The fact stated is that government (successive FG) have failed to develop other parts of the country in favour of Lagos? Could be deliberate or as a result of scheming by South West politicians with naive connivance of their counterpart from other regions. If Onitsha Seaport is functional, gazetted, and supported won't the pressure on Lagos Ports, roads and city reduce? If Enugu International Airport is given necessary support, won't that also reduce the influx of people to Lagos. If government fail to make this happen, how can they reduce the pressure on Lagos? At this rate how won't Lagos continue to grow, and eventually by the seams like a supernova? Yorubas should support and actively encourage the citing of economic resources and hubs in other cities (especially SE), that's the only to enjoy your Lagos. Until that is done, the scramble for Lagos will continue to it's detriment. It's a no-brainer. |
Habyz:My opinion. Government is wise. Put everything in Lagos, and let us all empty our villages, towns, and other cities into Lagos! We've been asking for International Airport, Seaports, and other facilities in SE for ages, but some politicians want everything to revolve around Lagos. As far as every meaningful economic resources (Seaports, Airports, Embassies, Head Offices) are skewed towards Lagos, so would the people. Lagos may grow, and burst, but people will do as the government policy dictates; people will continue to migrate. Hence, Chinedu and Chidi are on the way to Lagos tomorrow with their families, I'm sure Musa and Yaya are also on their way in similar fashion. That's how successive government wanted it. So be it! |
MikkyDaniel:@Op, Play with sense. Get some other hubby in between. |
Not my business... But if they are actually brave, they should target oil installations outside their region. Militancy should follow federal character and quota system else they are liable for prosecution. Abi dem be Buhari brothers ni? |
Donald mind yourself oo. While we are encouraging our displaced Benue cowmen to come and join the hassle in Lagos, you are predicting doom. Nothing dey shele bro. Lasgidi will take us all without shaking. At least I don't have to travel hundreds of miles to an Embassy or use the International Airport or seaport. All I need to do is live in Lagos! (Be sure to wear your sarcasm lens before reading) |
GoroTango:No to the bolded. Rather the government should buy up any other available grazing route (reserve), and give them to farmers at subsidized rate. We need more farms, parks, and gardens, not routes for cows . The cows and those who chose to live with them belong to |
Ojiofor:Well, as the Chief Jagbajantis of Lagos, Tinubu will find something for them. The uniform agbero of Lagos, LASTMA (?) is always recruiting. Cowmen will always find something to do in a Zoo. ![]() |
They've said it all. No further comment! ![]() |
Ojiofor:They can serve as Tinubu's boy-boy, just like our brother Igbokwe, or is it Yorubakwe as he's called these days. |
Ojiofor:Yeah. Freedom of movement for people is enshrined in the constitution, but no freedom of movement for animals. I encourage them to come and settle in No Man's Land! Together we can move Nigeria forward! |
Ojiofor:Why not? Provided they can leave their cows behind? |
@Op, It's because some of our (Igbo) leader are/were naive. When they have small power (influence) they want to be more Nigerian than other. They are more likely to promote those project in other place than in their homeland. |
Corruption-In-Chief Commander-In-Corruption |
nnokwa042:In Nigeria, they will tell her they are 'host', and she's a 'guest'. And remind her to 'respect' her 'host' or drown in Lagoon! Does that sound like some 'South Wastern' group you know? |
QueenOfNepal:I see. |
He is Musiwa brother. Stop wasting your time, Op, on a potential Yaba left escapee. |
Smart woman, she at least choose to meet someone whose head is still turned on. Wonder what kind of conversation she would have been having had she met with the Corruption-In-Chief himself! |
oladeebo:Or perhaps you are the stupid one? Benue is food basket. They need more farmers, and farmlands. They don't need cows destroying their crops, when these cows can be ranched. More importantly, they don't need the cycle of death and destruction wroth by these But you, boy, don't get it because you can't even grasps anything here, except of course your own daily meaningless rants. |
Why hasn't Buhari resigned over this? What's is the summon about when obviously the President is the Commander-in-Corruption, or Corruption-in-Chief! |
Musiwa, Oladeebo, ![]() |
RIP to the dead. I hope he wasn't shot by Nigeria army? |
DemeUdo:At this rate if you have malaria/typhoid, you are doomed. Relocate bro! Don't look back until you can find - A Catholic Church, Coca Cola, and an Igboman! |
Soon they'll tell us "corruption is fighting back." ![]() |
Op, If you don't know anyone in Uyo who can give (or loan) you 5k, you shouldn't be living there! |
Isoko1stSon:If they migrate to South, you migrate to North. Last I heard, it one indivisible country whose unity is non-negotiable? Not so? Why fear migration then? Please people should live and claim whatever state they live in. Finito! |
Nice one Op, I'm pretty sure Saraki's lawyer learnt the dark art from high up there - President Buhari's lawyer. He's a fast learner perhaps. Fall out of the President false certificate saga. We were told... Buhari’s lawyer speaks: Why I gave Justice Ademola N500,000 February 22, 2017 Evelyn Okakwu A counsel to President Muhammadu Buhari has absolved the president of any role in money the lawyer gave to a judge accused of corruption. A witness stated in court on Tuesday that the State Security Service, SSS, was told that Kola Awodein, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, gave Justice Adeniyi Ademola N500,000 in 2015. . . . On Wednesday, Mr. Awodein confirmed that he did give the judge the money, but as a gift to a friend holding a ceremony. “It is a fact that the sum of money mentioned was personally paid by me as a friend to Mr. Justice Ademola as a personal gift, as our custom well recognizes and demands, on the occasion of his daughter’s High Society wedding solemnized at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos, on the 9th of May 2015, which I attended in person,” Mr. Awodein said in a message distributed by presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina. The lawyer added that he was “fully convinced then, as I remain today, that I could do no less as a friend of longstanding to fairly reasonably support him on that memorable occasion of his daughter’s wedding. “Anyone and everyone who knows me would readily and unquestionably testify that I am and have always been a man of impeccable integrity on and off the Courts and that such a record speaks always loudly for itself.” After PREMIUM TIMES reported the monetary gift from the president’s counsel at a time Mr. Buhari’s certificate controversy was before Mr. Ademola’s court, some Nigerian’s raised highbrows alleging the president may have been in the know. Basically, Nigeria has nothing substantial to hold against her here - except PROPAGANDA ! ![]() |
When a 'self respecting' entity agree to do something, it should. Aburi Accord reneging and civil war (which the damages is about) is a sad reminder of the cost reneging on an agreement! |
Mynd44:Are you advocating lawlessness, oga Mod? What is the essence of justice system if it won't be respected? And you wonder why the country is regarded in comity of nation as a gloried jungle? Why do you suggest keeping up with such retrogressive reputation, and wish to be called progressive? |
