From what you wrote, I am assuming your daughter was born in the US which makes her a US citizen. Why did you have to apply for Visa for her to visit Canada? Thanks

1) well I moved it to one account and printed that statement.
2)my husband was the main applicant, so he was the sponsor and I was listed as dependent and he is not travelling with me
3) I had a lump deposit too so I wrote a cover letter explaining the source of the funds

I am new to this thread. I intend to apply for a visit visa. So, I need help on how to go about it.

I currently have a valid US visa which will expire in a month's time.

I intend travelling alone but will like to know if applying alone or applying with my husband will give a higher chance. My husband and I both work, but he earns higher than me and will be the one sponsoring the trip.
So, should I use his account statements alone or add mine to it too or use just my own?

Also, will I be adding his employment details such as appointment letters, payslips alongside mine if I am putting him as my sponsor?

We have friends who can give us invitation letter. Is it better to make hotel reservations or get an invitation letter from a friend?

How much should one look at having in the account? Will proof of investment such as treasury bills be a good evidence to put into the application? What are the documents I will need to make my application solid?

I have been trying to create an account on the cic site but I am finding it difficult. Can someone take me through the process.

I know this is a lot of questions but I truly need answers. Please help me.

No i did not, i did not need to. Its clearly stated on CIC website.

Finally, evaluation of law degree with IQAS is complete and the canadian equivalence is 'a first professional university degree in common law'. The wait was frustrating but worth it!

I had earlier used WES, before realizing IQAS was more suitable for law degree. As you would expect, WES evaluated my law degree as 'bachelor degree'.

Congrats to those who obtained PPR, ITA, and aced IELTS!

I just joined this thread and I have read up a lot. God bless you all. Please I have some questions and clarifications and will be glad if you can help me answer them.

I had once evaluated my bachelor's degree through Wes USA (not immigration). Do I still need to send my transcript from my school to Wes again, or they can just transfer to Wes Canada since they have the transcript in their archive? Do I need to pay new application fee?

Also, my husband has ICAN qualification and a diploma in IFRS. Do any of these qualifications count? Which of the evaluating bodies accept and give points for them?

I have a bachelor's and doctorate in physiotherapy. Physiotherapy is a profession in the medical sciences even though it was not listed in the CIC website as a professional degree. I got my doctorate as a transitional/bridging program after my bachelors degree. The duration was for one year. How should I get this evaluated. Can my doctorate be equivalent to masters/professional degree? Do I have to submit both my bachelor's and the doctorate degree transcripts, putting in mind that I only did the doctorate program for one year because I already have a bachelor's, or do I have a chance of two certificates.

Good day mamas. It's my first time here. My LO is 6 weeks old today. She developed rashes (pimple-like) on her face at about 3 weeks old. The rashes seems to be getting worse, and her facial skin now appears dry and scaly. I have been to the paed, he said it will go on its own that i shouldn't apply anything but i'm very concerned. Please fill the former yourself, you are in a better position to know what you have filled. The appointment days are not usually so far, you can even choose an appointment day before you finish filling the DS-160 application form so far you know you will be ready for the interview on the chosen date and even at that you can reschedule your appointment as close as a day to.

If you check the website today, the closest appointment day will most likely be this Wednesday or thereabouts.
