kayalcomp:Are you in Mars? Dangote is currently building a 400,000 bpd capacity refinery in Lekki, Lagos. Completion date is 2017/2018. |
masseratti:The market runs on CONFIDENCE. Investors don't like uncertainties. Policy direction influences investment direction. Three weeks in the market is a long time. Decisions are taken in seconds not weeks. Capital doesn't wait for any folly. It goes in search of better opportunity. Market feels that a modern society is not run by a single 'superhero' but by a competent team. Ministers are the faces of policies. |
blackandbold:Government is a continuum. Projects have start and end date. It's like questioning why road construction projects awarded by a particular administration are completed during the tenure of another administration. The fact as it is today is that this particular turnaround maintenance contract was awarded by Jonathan. Do you understand now? |
4bobo:Turnaround maintenance started in November 2014. Did you skip that part? Turnaround maintenance is done every now and then for your information. |
lordhugo: As you can see, you don't have basic understanding. Buhari had previously lost elections on three occasions and on each occasion he never admitted he lost even when the highest court in the land said he lost. It was not the opposition's win that rallied the market but the management of the loss by the party in government. The expectations of the whole wide world was that the loser might not accept defeat like Buhari until Jonathan shocked them with that phone call. Something the dullard himself has admitted on a couple of occasions as what saved the country from chaos. He even said Jonathan has taught the country a significant democratic lesson. (Recall that Buhari's lack of democratic culture of conceding defeat led to the massacre of over 800 innocent people in the North, scores of them were Youth Corps Members, whom Buhari's herds butchered like goats) Common! If your head of dullards can admit that, what other argument are you left with? Your shallowness also extends to lack of knowledge of the stock market, you really don't know what 'pleasant' means but you want to impress yourself perhaps. Does it sound intelligent to say a stock market was not pleasant for six years? Would the market not have ceased to exist? |
MizMyColi:Appointments and policy directions are just normal administrative procedures in a modern society. It is doubtful if any intelligent person is expecting any 'tangible improvement' even in 50 years (if it were possible) under the Dullard-In-Chief Buhari's administration. Much of the 'tangible improvement' expectations are from impulsive people. |
lordhugo:His win counted for nothing. The market simply reacted to Jonathan's acceptance of the results which doused all tension putting book makers to shame. The world had anticipated an acrimonious transition that they predicted would lead to war and subsequent division of Nigeria. The ease at which Jonathan conceded defeat was a confidence booster for the investors, it was a sign that Nigeria is now a mature economy worthy of more investment. |
Sharksblow:There's no way to know the best person for the job until they are selected and tested. Most of the people who are going to be appointed might not have had any experience on the job. Waiting for eternity to make simple selection is folly. No matter the degree or certification someone parades, s/he still needs to apply them to the new job to be considered successful. And being a successful private sector executive won't necessarily translate to success in the public sector, likewise being a success at the state level won't automatically lead to huge performance at the federal level. The vicissitude of office sometimes will rubbish someone's stellar performance in other sectors of life. For instance Prof (Mrs.) Adenike Grange was regarded as one of the best professionals in Nigeria, still she was removed from office under a very unpleasant circumstance. Buhari himself was considered the 'best' by his herds. Many of them had thought that by now, the country would have turned to Dubai, but alas, the Chief Dullard himself has confessed that he is too old for the job. Let the Daura President stop deceiving himself about looking for the 'best' while time is running out on all of us. And if it's about that senility that he spoke about in South Africa, he should excuse Nigeria and resign honorably. |
tete7000:He said that just to win over gullible voters. Recall that he was even touting his 'medieval period' achievement with rag tag Maitaisine to buttress his illusionary no-nonsense capabilities. From the theory on the street, they had planned to start withdrawing the Boko Haram boys immediately he won, unfortunately after a week or two violence free period, people noticed and wanted to begin the linkage with his election. They had to tell them to continue the killings just to cover up that angle. But since it doesn't make sense to continue to slaughter themselves after getting their so much coveted 'crown', the boys have to be pushed to neighboring countries and the middle-belt. It doesn't take serious nations much effort to psychoanalyze the state of Buhari's senility. Even before the self admission in South Africa, most foreign countries already know Nigeria's new leader's capacity. From his lack of basic certification to his unprofessional COC relocation order to his over 20 year lapse in time, they know what he is up to. Chad knows all this too. But, let's wait for the much anticipated declaration of war against Chad as 'promised' by the retired Major General. |
They think this sort of silliness will cover the glaring lack of capacity of the dullard they elected. The whole business community is frustrated by the lack of direction Imam Buhari is exhibiting daily. Corporate Nigeria is already voicing out their frustrations in veiled messages across AGMs. Banks are withholding facilities to the business community, private investments (both local and foreign) are not forthcoming, the whole economy is at standstill. Yet, it's the resignation gossip of one or two NNPC officials that The Nation is gleeful about. How is this softsell piece more important than the cattlerearer actually carrying out the needed reforms in NNPC? |
Brugo:Former US vice president, Dick Cheney, was also wanted in Nigeria. The Obama administration prevented his extradition to come and face Nigeria's judicial system. |
Dav24:Does the NDLEA even have any extradition request from anywhere or it's something they made up? |
fashoo2010:Senators don't have immunity in Nigeria. |
bcbones:Are you saying Osun workers are not owed 7 months salary? |
richgang:You are the most wicked human being on this thread. What is wrong with bringing other states' plight to media attention instead of standing in the way of good spirited people trying to help Osun people whom APC's Aregbesola has turned to destitutes? Your governor didn't pay workers salaries and you are having issues with people who are lending a helping hand. Would you rather they starve to death? |
lokoloko84:1) Is Tinubu your admirer or you are his admirer? You probably mean he is your god. 2) And he is also a "brain child" too? No wonder you guys don't know your right from your left. 3) The article says the New Fulani empire which your "brain child" help create is currently finding him and you his worshipers your appropriate slavery status. It's not a surprise, it's only half educated fellows like you who will admire and follow someone taking you to slavery. 4) Hatred? Who hates on someone without a tangible ambition in life? Who wastes his time on someone whose only life ambition is to be Vice President to Fulani candidates? Your god, the "brain child", has attempted to be VP to three Fulani candidates from 2007 to-date; Nuhu Ribadu, Atiku Abubakar and Muhammadu Buhari. He failed on all three occasions. And on each occasion he came back worse off than when he met those characters. 5) Yoruba leader? You don't have an idea what Yoruba leadership entails do you? Go back and revise your Alawiye series. |
lokoloko84:Why are you not so smart? The merger was 2014, we are in 2015 now, check your calendar. They have used him to achieve their objective. They have started frustrating him. They sent him on a wild goose chase. Buhari simply asked him to go and wait for him somewhere. Told him he was coming, waited in his residence till the selection process was done, then sent to your god that it's needless for him to come again since the whole thing has ended. Imam went ahead to say he would respect the decisions. Your god was left to react so angrily and made inconsequential remarks about recognition or no recognition, as if his recognition count for anything. His town crier, Lai Mohammed, was left foaming in the mouth. Tinubu is back to opposition. Starting all over again but this time without any coherent vision and with a handful loyal worshipers like you. |
A7:Why can't you people just learn a simple thing? Why is it so easy for you to deceive yourselves? Why are you not very smart? Why is it so convenient for you to parade your idiocy? Can't you see that the Fulani has pushed you guys aside? Can't you see that they are already moving to take over the structure of the party? Is it because of your unrestrained gambling lifestyle? |
The Nation's reporter says the passenger stole from the cockpit. The Nation is the preferred newspaper of the dullard cow-milking president. Says a lot about the dullard's productivity. |
bushdoc9919:You are putting the cart before the horse. Appointment of ministers is done by the president not the National Assembly. They merely screen and give approval. No one says the National Assembly should appoint the dullard's cabinet. The same Buhari got an approval for appointments of 15 aids from the National Assembly. Perhaps you were not aware of that. How did he know the number of aids he would need? Permanent secretaries don't give policy direction. They implement policies of the political appointees who are representatives of the president who appoints them. Do you understand now? These are the people who told us they were ready with a parallel government if they had lost. It just shows that they were preparing for WAR not governance. Selecting ministers can only be a slow process for laggards. This guy knew he would be taking over more than two months ago. He has been running for office and burning Nigeria for the past 12 years. They have been killing and maiming for him for more than a decade. |
ferhyntorlah:Hello, have you ever worked before? Do you know what transfer mean? No reputable organization will transfer someone to anywhere who doesn't know what to do the first day. Any office which take a whole month to get used to is REDUNDANCY. It only takes a single meeting to familiarize yourself with the environment and work starts. Didn't they tell us this cattlerearer is omnipotent? |
Does it take the scrutiny of hand over note to know that you need ministers for finance, justice, education and some few others? As a matter of fact, the constitution specifically mention the appointment of the attorney-general and minister of justice as compulsory. Does it take a hand-over note scrutiny to identify that too? This guy was actually preparing for WAR. He never believe he would be in office. Now that he is there, they are so confused on what to do. Imagine this Dullard is questioning why people are agitated about his ministers. Does he not know that the whole economy is at standstill because people are waiting for policy direction of his ill-prepared government? Can Fashola also whisper that in his ear? Ironically, his worshipers who saw everything wrong with Jonathan's appointment of committee are here praising him. For someone who has been disturbing the peace of Nigeria for 12 years, who has been elected and his opponent quickly conceded defeat since March, who has been sworn-in for more than a month now, to still be studying a hand over note before appointing ministers is really appalling. This is the same party who told the world that they were ready with their parallel government if they had lost. |
eagleeye2:Buhari has not regretted his role on that incident till date. The way some Yorubas defended Buhari on this ugly incident before the election one is tempted to conclude that they are bastard Fulani children. |
Teenaira:They have the backings of the WORLD POWERS. Amnesty International will simply call for the arrest and prosecution of the security agents who attempt to stop them. |
Yujin:Their ultimate target is the ocean. They gathered in the North East to drive Jonathan away and their aim has been achieved. Now that they have who they want as president, it's back to their mission; annihilate the entire North Central who are "stubborn" then turn on the South. The South is the easiest to take. They won't fire a single bullet before the weaklings surrender. Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Nigeria. |
The gender transformation of Amaechi is complete. The have turned him to a female (SHE). No political analysis mentions his name among the MEN again. He has to be given a woman role to play now. Sad. |
voltron:There is no other news. There won't be any in the foreseeable future. They have the height of change with the inauguration. Nothing more to do. They have to distract the angry youths with such nonsense. But it will only work for sometime. |
That Katsina school principal that issued the fake WASC to the Daura President must be arrested and prosecuted. |
“Let me give an instance, presently, there are more than 6 aircraft in the presidential fleet. What do you call that? “Billions of naira is budgeted every year for the maintenance of these aircraft not to talk of operational cost and other expenses. “You may want to ask what a Nigerian President is doing with so much aircraft when a Prime Minister of Britain fly around using the same public aircraft like an ordinary Briton. “Go and check and compare with that of any developed country in the world, the office of the Nigerian President is a very expensive one inspite our high level of poverty and joblessness. “Despite all these, you still find a Nigerian Minister spending about N10billion to charter an aircraft for just one year. “Now, for me, when we come into office, all these waste will be blocked and properly channelled into our economy. “We intend for instance, to bring back our National carrier, the Nigerian Airways.”We shall do this by bringing all the aircraft in the presidential fleet into the Nigerian airway and within a year increase the fleet into about 20. “What is the difference between me and those who elected us to represent them, absolutely nothing. Why should Nigerian President not fly with other Nigerian public?" - Buhari http://www.sisicalabar.com/buhari-in-london-says-he-will-resuscitate-nigerian-airways-we-ll-bring-all-the-aircrafts-in-the-presidential-fleet-into-the-nigerian-airways-and-within-a-year-increase-the-fleet-into-about-20/ |
This must be the first time in 30 years that this cow milking dullard is checking a newspaper. |
Osun people are practically begging for alms/food on the highways. Aregbesola is one of the faces of the CHANGE that APC used to campaign for DD Imam Buhari. Osun has been touted as a model for the "change" mantra. Nigerians are worried that APC is about to turn everyone to beggars. |
One down. Next is the dissolution of Odigie Oyegun led executive. Your resignation letter is being awaited Mr Oyegun. |
