naijapikin2: π π€£ I simply asked you to explain the correlation between the above scriptures you quoted and the matter at hand, and you result into insults. (AGAIN)π I am falsely interpreting the bible. π€£ How if I may ask? ![]() No you didn't advice her to leave her church , you only adviced her to go to another church where her prayer will be answered. π If I may ask, What happened to her own church? ![]() I need spiritual help?π It's ok bro. I wish you well. π |

naijapikin2: Let me help you to drop the Bible verses you dropped. So that you can also help us explain the correlation they have with the topic. π 2 Sam 7:10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning Please what is the correlation?π I dropped John 15:16 already. Please help us. Daniel 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever" Please help us explain ![]() Thank you. |

naijapikin2: Let me do you one favour. ![]() ![]() John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruitβfruit that will lastβand so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. Now please kindly endeavour to explain the correlation between this verse and our present discussion. No argument. Just explain. Thank you ![]() |

naijapikin2: Smiles. I clearly understand your defense and the reason why you are so much trying to make it seems I am saying something so unchristianly. ![]() First and foremost, Number 2 was NEVER your emphasis ![]() You didn't advice her to reach out to God on her own. You specifically adviced her to visit Shiloh for answers. ![]() Let me quote what you said. ![]() "Don't forget to attend Shiloh.. (just a suggestion o).. the truth is that God has your best interest." πThose were your exact words. You didn't tell her to reach out to God on her own. You SPECIFICALLY adviced her not to forget to visit Shiloh. ![]() Secondly, In no where did I say she doesn't need to go to church. ![]() The simple question is "what is a church?" A church is simply a congregation of people gathered together to commune and worship God. And that can be 2 or more people. So the entire talk has been about correcting you about emphasizing that she goes to one particular church in order to receive answers to her prayer. That is very unchristianly. And I pray you and many more like you out there will learn and repent. Just imagine Paul preaching that members of the church in Corinth should come for a program in Jerusalem so that they can "receive answers" to their prayers. Is God not alive in their church in Corinth? Or MUST it be in Jerusalem until God perform miracles? That is exactly what you are trying to do here by advicing her to leave her own church and go to One Shiloh in order to "see God" or get answers to her problems. God is everywhere. He manifests his power and answers prayers even in the depth of pits. As far as you believe and trust in him. We have left the era when people trekked miles to see Christ and touch the linen of his garment. Christ is now available to everyone everywhere, as much as you are willing and ready to receive him. I will leave you with the final note again, STOP PREACHING CHURCH, PREACH CHRIST. Feel free to insult me again. God bless you. |

naijapikin2: Smiles. I in no way contradicted myself in any of my posts. ![]() And we are not saying similar things from different perspectives. You are emphasizing on a specific gathering as a go to centre for answers and deliverance. While I am emphasizing on the point that a Christian does not need to go to a specific centre before his/her prayers can be answered. The point you want to keep arguing is that you are wrong. You don't need to preach a specific church to a Christian. Rather preach Christ. Your advice to her should have been for her to seek Christ over her issues, and not to tell her to go to one specific church or the other. Just as you would do a business centre or private company. That is not Christianity. That is very far from it. Unfortunately you will keep arguing, because you have been doing so for so long that you believe yourself to be right. ![]() Well, I leave you with your opinion about which church I attend. ![]() It doesn't surprise me that you see this correction of mine as a competition between Winners and redeem church ![]() That is the problem your type of advice has created in the Christianity of today. Competitions. It is so sad. ![]() I am a Christian and the church I attend has 2 or more members. And it has no name other than it being a "church" ![]() Hope you are now satisfied? ![]() In conclusion, this is my advice to you; preach Christ and not individual churches. Lead people to Christ and not to your church. God bless you. |
![]() |
If we analyse your points well, and the assumption and conclusion of yours of the fact that I must be a redeem church member ![]() You have created business- like divisions and unhealthy competitions which was never the intention of Christ or of the apostles. I will tell you once again; God does not live in buildings. Neither do you need to be in one Particular place or under one "man" before you will get answers to your prayers. If you read the entire Jer 3 well, you will get the point. |

naijapikin2: Since u asked for a Bible quotation to back up my point, I will give u the easiest one which we should all know. Matt 18: 18-20 And i quote "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 βAgain, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.β That is the word of Christ our Lord and savior. The one who we are named christians after. This simply means Mr kola and Mr kunle can pray together in one corner of their house and achieve results. It is not until they go to one "mount Zion ministry or mount shiloh church" You dropped Jer 3:15. Let me help you with the full quote and endeavour to analyse the meaning. And i quote "And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding." This is the New living translation. This was a prophecy dropped far back as the time of Jeremiah unto the children of Isreal. And it was about this time. Now can we break it down. Did it say the shepherds will be an intercessory to God? Did the prophecy say the Christian won't be able to access Christ or God without the shepherds? Definately no! Now don't get me wrong, it is important you go to a living church as a Christian, in order to Get guidance, commune with other brethrens, and strengthen yourself spiritually. It is however not a Miracle centre, or a special centre where Christian will "meet God" as we are tagging it to be in Nigeria of today. God is reachable anywhere. Not only on a mountain or in Shiloh. Your church can be under a tree. And yes your prayers can be answered if you ask in Jesus name. For where 2 or 3 are gathered in his name, christ is there. The problem we have today is that we have equated the church to the babalawo centre which we(Africans) patronised in those days. The run in and run out centre. Where you go to with a "spiritual problem" and get quick fix "solutions." Christianity is not like that. Christianity is relationship with God through Christ. Not through your pastor. |

naijapikin2: ![]() Wonderful. If I say "she doesn't need to visit a particular church program before she gets answers from God, Then I must be a demon." π€£ Wonderful. I should get in line?π I guess u mean "in line with the norm"? You just summarized the Nigerian Christianity mindset. The very reason why so called "christians" flood church gatherings but do not have a relationship with God. Kudos to you. |
![]() |
naijapikin2: Smiles. Now u are changing the goal post. Going to church is to aid your spiritual growth as iron sharpeneth iron. This is is very true. However you are not campaigning that the person go to church, Rather you are campaigning that she visit a very "particular" church program/ gathering "in other to see GOD" ![]() And in other to get her prayers answered. ![]() You see where your problem lies? That is the very same unchristianly comments today's christians make all over the place, and they feel so much pride with it. God can be reached anywhere! He doesn't live in a particular building. Encourage people to have a personal relationship with God, and to trust in him. Not to visit your church before they get delivered or answers to prayers. It is written , where 2 or more are gathered in my name, I am there. A church is 2 or more people gathered in his name. Not necessarily a fancy name building or location. God can answer your prayer whether u pray alone or better still when you engage with a fellow or more in same spirit anywhere. It may be under a mango tree. Christians should grow in spirit and not keep running after "men of God" for their contact with God. May God open your inner mind. |

naijapikin2: Wonderful. ![]() And I guess you learnt that from the story of Eli and Samuel? ![]() Wonderful! ![]() Well, the truth is that with Christ, God is available to you even in your room. I pray you receive the truth and knowledge of Christ Jesus, and cease running helter skelter for "miracles". |

MissLeslie: Lol. If only you know what Abacha did, you won't say this. Do you know that those money were the exact sum looted in over 30years ago? The money never acquired any interest. It is just like you putting 1m in the bank since year 2000. Ur money has lost value more than 10folds. What 1m naira could buy in year 2000, 20m can't buy now. Imagine the worth of $4b in those days. It could have built Nigeria into a world class country, a fully developed nation with all infastructures. Yet one man stole all and put it in accounts all over the world. out of greed Abacha's body should be excavated and hanged. 1 Like 1 Share |

achorladey:.ππ It is well. well, now that I know them enough, I won't bother engaging. There is no point trying to discuss the Bible with someone who believes he will make heaven just because he belongs to a church organization. And every other individual who doesn't belong to his organization is hell bent. ![]() It's been a wonderful eye opening discussion. ![]() 2 Likes |

I have really enjoyed this thread. At least I have learnt of what JW stands for. And why ONLY THEM will make the kingdom of heaven, even if their members are fornicators. ![]() Please Let's leave them alone. @achorladey I don't have a problem with anyone who believes only him and his sects are God's chosen. ![]() ![]() 3 Likes |
