How many billions will it cost for this country to import a million to 10m life jackets and spread it across Nigeria? Even if the government won't do it, are we all so handicapped that we refuse to help ourselves? It is so bad. May their souls rest in peace |

MAVICK2000: You are not alone in your predicament. Unfortunately you are in a country where academic proficiency and ability to cram and pass exams are seen as the big deal. Truth is only a few percentage of people have the grace of astute retentive memory. They are applauded and celebrated as brilliant, whereas its most time not just their own doing. Many others have to labour to cope through repeated reading . My advice to you would be to focus on Past questions. After reading the topics and having a good understanding of it. Pack as much as 10years questions and dwell on the target points. 2. Compress your notes into the answers of these likely questions. Discard ur main notes and hold these compressed notes everywhere you go and masticate it. 3. You can even generate questions for yourself based on the past questions you have seen and solve them in a MOCK examination set by yourself in your own space. Don't decieve yourself , you know what you know. And what you don't know , you don't know! No magic will happen in the examination hall. So pack that brain of URS full till it begs for mercy. I was in your spot over 15years ago, if by God's grace I succeeded with good results you also can do same and even more. I wish you the very best 2 Likes |

Kingosytex: No one stole from you as much as you stole from yourselves. Do your research, it was still your kindred that sold themselves as slaves to the whiteman. So don't bother blaming the white men. They saw opportunity and they took it. |

GanagiBitrus: Smiles... Maybe you need to read what you wrote again. "Christianity is not against going to work on Sundays, so it's not a sin. But anything that will deprive you time to effectively serve God is a sin." So what was that above statement implying? 1 Like 1 Share |

I don't know who needs to hear this today, but please learn this; "Going to church is not serving God!" Going to church is simply gathering of believers to share the word and strengthen one another in the faith. Serving God is what you do everyday of your life. It is either you are living your life to serve God or you are not. Serving God is what you do to your neighbours, your friends, people you meet etc. I know this has been the believe for many. That is why we crowd the church every Sunday and return to our sinful ways all week. We believe going to church is "serving God" and will make God happy with us. That I tell you is a big deceit. And God is not fooled. So I admonish us today. Live your life in service to God. And don't try to decieve yourself. 1 Like |

GanagiBitrus: Smiles. I hope you know "going to church" isn't the same thing as "serving God" Going to church is simply having communion with the one another. And sharing God's word to strengthen one another in the faith. It is not serving God. Serving God is what you do all the days of the week. It is what you do with your life. 9 Likes 1 Share |

The truth remains that today's Christianity is a modification to suit the flesh. Forgive me for putting it that way. But it is the truth. The focus of Christianity isn't on earthly blessings and financial gratifications. It is so much far from it. However that is what the flesh wants to hear, so that is what the church has evolved into. Laying focus on "substance" and rewards instead of the main goal and purpose. I truly wonder if today's Christian's bother to read the teachings of Christ. Or they just simply pick the ones that suit them and follow those. Cus if they do, things will be a whole lot different. Christ clearly stated that "In this world you will face many tribulations, but be of good cheer, for you have overcome the world. However, the average christian mindset is that when you face tribulations or problems you are against Christ or you are not following God's plan, or you must have sinned, etc. Christians stigmatize themselves instead of rendering support and love to one another in trouble times. This is what is being preached on the pulpits I keep saying it; "Judgement day will be a day of mny surprises". May God help us and count us worthy. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Kobojunkie: Smiles Eph 6:11-13 "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness in this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." That was Paul admonishing us christians to put on the armour of God. Do you need any other explanation ? ![]() I am waiting for you to say Paul's teachings are irrelevant. ![]() No be today. |

If he wanted her for money ritual she would have been dead with body parts missing. Not like this. There must be another sinister motive. |

Kobojunkie: Is there any point trying to explain the scripture to someone who selects what to believe within the gospel? Someone who doesn't believe the teachings and admonisions of the apostles ? Absolutely not! ![]() For that reason you are excused dear. I have always said it but I will reiterate today ; Endevour to preach your own sermon and make your points very clear. Open threads for them and state it boldly that Paul and other apostles were not led by the holy spirit. No need beating around the bush. |

Eriokanmi: Smiles. Wonderful ! And who are the evil people who wait for people to keep succeeding academically and get out of school only to make them unsuccessful in the labour market? ![]() I will be sincere with you , this explanation you have given is only an africanalized Christianity outlook to matters. We see every setback individuals face as a Christian as "Enemy attack" "evil people" . ![]() We feel because we are yet to get a job on time one enemy is on our case. Because we are yet to gain admission it is a "family problem" because we have delay in childbirth it is a spiritual attack etc. ![]() It is a really pathetic situation. Delay in childbirth which IVF will end up solving then u will hear people testifying that it was their enemy that was defeated in battle. ![]() The mistake many of us make is trying to make a spiritual meaning of every problem in this country. You think it is the devil or your enemy is the one that don't want you to get a job, when for a fact your country is suffering from massive unemployment. Your industries are closing down. Competition is very stiff. Yes some will still keep getting employed. But everyone can't get gainfully employed. The jobs are scarce. This is not one family problem or evil people problem (as you all like to paint it) it is the countries problem. Often times there are no evil enemies on Nigerians case. It is simply life. Life is about time and chance. Understanding this will make you labour less. As a Christian no power of the enemy can operate in your life if you wear the armour of God. So do your best to always put on that armour and stop giving powers to unseen imaginary enemies. Even Christ did not promise us of a tribulation free life as a Christian. And I will so love you to point me to a biblical reference of these enemies you talk about. I wonder if they were so irrelevant that Christ said we should pray for them. |
