How I wish KANU can be more reflective n tactful in his approach n utterances.

I'm afraid KANU n ipob is about to shoot themselves in the foot on this anambra elections,instead of boycotts or disruption why not encourage ndi anambra to vote for a party sympathetic or strategic to their agitations n bid time,this kind of tactless aggressive measures propelled by a false sense of Indomitable power n followership will eventually lead to their destruction n the failure of ordinarily a noble cause. There is wide spread acceptance of the the need for restructuring in the country now,I think it's in the overall best interest of KANU,ipob n Igbo as a whole to key into n use it as a leverage to achieving political n economic success,but who can advice KANU right now?, certainly I'm the least to be even thought of.well well well.....time shall tell,but it's really a pity.

magu should not get carried away because the executive is using him to spite the legislature, there was once a Rebadu tomorrow there may not be magu again, the fight against corruption is good but the sincerity of the fight by this government is certainly doubtful, with the events unfolding in the country it is clear that the executive is desperate to cow the legislature n turn it especially the Senate to it's rubber stamp, hate or like saraki he has to be commended for tactically resisting n standing firm,certainly if saraki had allowed himself to be shoved aside n not contest the Senate presidency, all these media castigations orchestrated by executive against the Senate wouldn't have occur.The APC has false elevated herself to perfection expecting her desires to become unquestionabe laws without properly taking into consideration the complexities of the country n doing what is right things to bring about the change the promised the country,yes the previous governments where not perfect ,APC promise change which was doubted by many but got elected, now been faced by dismal failure they have developed the act of blame games like inheriting empty treasury, low oil price and also inventing new political vocabularies like body language,terming any one with a contrary view as corruption fighting back n enemy of the state,but we are not fooled time shall tell.

APC will now rush to shamelessly claim credit for this, but we all know it was the handiwork of PDP n Gej.I don't know who is actually clueless now.

Osibanjo should just stop forwarding names of nominees to the NASS for confirmation if the constitution allows it instead of generating unnecessary controversy while using the media to present the legislature as a stumbling block to the executive after all non of the arms of government is perfect, but we must avoid creating a dangerous scenario n setting a bad precedence that we may regret later.

It's good to be firm when necessary, but it's also very important to be logical about it,me thinks osibanjo should deal with the issue of the NASS having the constitutional power to confirm nominees or not even if it means seeking judicial interpretations,the Senate will definitely not take this lying low,the ensuing ping-pong of confusion will certainly not auger well for the country, elevating ourselves to perfection n above the law is very dangerous,the executive is exploiting the misplaced general hatred for the legislature by the public due to media manipulations, even if the NASS is flawed,the electorate can not denied been part of the problems, we should be careful about our contempt for the legislature as we may regret it in the future.

The self acclaimed supreme righteousness of the executive if this administration will eventually lead to her down fall,I'm so surprised that osibanjo a professor of law can not think of a smart legal way checkmating dino if they really don't like n agree with him,the law is the law whether it suit us or not,if the need be let the judiciary be call in simple.

The federal government should just
phaseout polytechnics in Nigeria n convert all of them to "General colleges" with the authority to award diploma(3 years duration) n first degree only,monotechnics should be converted to their specialized colleges e.g college of management, Administration, etc.existing colleges such as colleges of Agric n education should all be given the authority to award diploma n first degrees only,one can then proceed to the university for further studies.the universities should continue to run all their present programs including first degrees. the Nuc should be changed NUCC(national universities n colleges commission) with the authority to regulate all degree awarding institutions.Let there be one entrance exam for all degree n diploma programmes,the HND should be eliminated, those with HND should go for 1year abridgement course n be awarded first degree, this way the pressure on universities n the agitations for all manner of university will be reduced.

Ordinarily I would have disagree with KANU method of agitations but the fact his statement is incontrovertible concerning the actions of people like tinubu with their hypocrisy, one is bereft of words.One Nigeria is good for us all but then let's make worthwhile for us all by mutually agreeing on how one we want to be.

Dele momodu has only succeeded by this write up in outlining the very needs for restructuring,true federalism, resource control, revenue sharing formula adjustments,rotational political leadership etc are all sub elements of restructuring which becomes necessary as a result of wide spread dissatisfaction within the polity,the osun example clearly justify y restructuring should not even be restricted to plural society, I'm even tempted to ask is this write up for or against restructuring, if its against then it means dele momodu n his likes are living in a different world from most of us,but if it's for,then let him truly stand up to be counted.with all these skepticism n indifference ometimes it even appear that only a successful military coup by true patriotic nationalist armed with the official fiat can solve the restructuring question, but that is just a long shot in the dark.

The core north will always find reasons to oppose restructuring in other to maintain the status quo to their advantage, now is the ambiguity of restructuring itself, this is y I have always advocated that the agitators should do their home work well,close rank n be ready to present a solid argument n struggle based on logic n sound reasoning,let the desired restructuring be defined pointing out the present defects in our national political n economic configuration and administration while also suggesting the remedies n benefits of restructuring,it's never going to be easy but certainly it's not an impossible task
