I mean doing things like:

• refusing to meet with him (go out on a date)
• refusing to give your phone number
• refusing to pick his calls
• acting rude/sassy and expecting him to absorb your bad behaviour
• refusing to go to his house etc.

Then the guy loses interest and starts ignoring you... have you ever regretted your action of playing hard to get?

It will be cruel to be with someone just because you feel sorry for them. I cannot say yes when I have no feelings ,chemistry or common ground with that person. It's about being compatible and complimenting each other. I am not perfect by all means I am realistic. Relationships should not be about trying to make it work. It should work.
