where is the light to charge the inverters? those guys who do solar panels with inverters, usually quote very expensive prices. the cost of buying a new one of the size of my gen is well over 180k or so(according to what the technician told me he last time he came) and it depends on the brand. some are more expensive than the others. if only phcn could guarantee me 18-20 hrs of power supply a day and ask me to pay half of my cost of providing electricity for myself,as my bill per month. i would still take it as a fair deal.

Your gen will charge it na or you can go solar grin

Please consider it, quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. Power supply has dropped, I noticed that...but you can't continue spending money like that. As I read that part of your post, my chest start to pain me sef cheesy. N60,000? ?? On fuel?

most nigerians are burning money on petrol to provide electricity. i'm sure if they ask people to start posting their average fueling expenses on generators here, you'd be shocked at the figures you'd get. the dude who asked me if i was staying on banana island and earning 120k per month, got me laughing. at 120k per month,i certainly wont have any business with banana island. in short if anyone catches me there with such salary, they should flog foolishness out of my life and destiny.

Never. That's a suicide attempt. Even if I earn all the money in the world, I will never settle for less. I used to believe in starting small, but as it is now, I've re-strategized. Some men are just too complacent to step out of their comfort zone. We have to be very comfortable to get married. Marriage isn't a child's play.

Depending on the type of man he is. If he's the honest, straight-forward and frugal one, why not?
With good planning, understanding and focus, higher level is achievable..... not to forget that the woman too should not be idle.

my brother if you want to know the reality of things just go councils, schools and some shop attendants and ask them how much they pay them then you will know that someone earning 60k is in luxury. my salary is less than 60k but I'm married with a kid and my daughter is attending a better school I have three cars and I have built my own house for the past three years. Life is all about planning, I pity those who are saying if you are earning 60k you shouldn't marry until you become a millionaire. Earning above that 60k you only be disturbing yourself to please people otherwise 60k is good pay, and besides those graduates moving up and down with files they should ask them how much is their starting target of salary?
They won't know till they start looking for work.
Some of them will even be turning down pay of 30 or 40k just because they want 500k. Dreams and fantasies. The sooner they realise that this is naija the better it will be for them.

60k is truly a luxury in Nigeria, and with good planning and management like you have, it can take you a long way with a little bit of extra hustle

60k is a truly truly a luxury in Nigeria is you are a salary mentality person.

But if you are an entrepreneur who is really really dreaming real big, 60K is not even a starting point.

In short, 60k is an insult.

Why would you like to settle for as low as 60K wheareas you could be making as much as 600K ?

Start thinking big.

it's not all about money. in marriage, we tend to look at personality of the man, so 60k for me can even be enough, it's all about regulations
