If you want to keep it African, return to African traditional religions.
If you don't want to, accept who brought Christianity to Africa and accept that you have accepted this influence from white Europeans. In this sense, you have allowed yourself to be 'westernized'.

And as you can hopefully easily deduce from your short survey of religious history, cultures have been influencing and co-shaping each other from times immemorial. So even if it is en vogue now to say 'I am not going to allow them to 'westernize' me, it is ignorant to say that inter-cultural exchange and influence is a new phenomenon and something that one must resist with all force to be considered truly African.

The cultural values that one person on this thread is celebrating as purely African are the same values that Europeans and Americans still share or used to share with African peoples some time ago.

There's something i have noticed amongst the immigrants to the western world. Africans seems to be the likeliest to give up their Cultures which defines their values for the white mans culture. Indians in America are Indians all the way, the same with Arabs, Chinese and Japanese. These people move to the west with their cultures, as a matter of fact, they try to make their host become part of them. But when we move over there, in one year, we forget how to pronounce our native names.
A guy who has been overseas for about Four years now is fighting so hard to loose his accent, just imagine someone with a bad accident forming America.
In discussions, i kept hearing him saying "You Africans", We Africans? And who might you be now? Its just four years and its now "You Africans"?
He has become so American that he no longer remembers that Africa is a Continent, not a country.
It really bits me why a simple chat over the internet will make a woman who is or was Nigerian, overstep boundaries and bring in someone's family.
These Western infested minds probably think its Hip to disrespect parents since its American's culture.
What happened to Africa? We are not the only ones Colonised by these people.
