A career wanderer is hardly a wife material in the first place. You knew very well the nature of your sexual urges and it's frequency, but you still went on career tourism oversees without your husband despite knowing how long it will take you to settle down and have him and your daughter join you. Your career and ambition came first.
Then Dozie was added to the mix. Call it fate or coincidence but I call it the perfect catalyst that unravelled your sexual indiscipline despite the matrital tag you carry around. It was only a matter of time, a road leading to an end that crescendo to adultery.
And then in guilt, you thought up a plan to have your husband eat of the same forbidden fruit ---how conveniently Eve-ie! In your stupidity you thought adultery is measured in the same scale across both genders -- ignorantly repulsive!
Real men don't forgive sexual unfaithfulness. If they have to stay, the relationship becomes irredeemably spice-less.
Now, unfortunately your bed will remain cold and lonely for a long time and your body count is about to explode like the Asian stock Market as you try to satisfy your raving urge with random strangers. Hardly a decent place for any respectable woman. |

paxonel: you are not getting it! Jesus was talking to the Pharisees here, not Christians. You are a Christian what's your business with tithing?
Tithing was a Law to the Pharisees and the Jews, not a law to the gentiles.
Not all laws are important as the scripture suggest. But what is important is justice, mercy and faith.
It's like prostrating before elders is a law to the Yoruba culture and Christ will encourage the yorubas to obey their law because he is law abiding. but he will never compel an igbo man to prostrate, because it is not a law to the igbo culture. That is how Jesus saw tithing.
He will encourage the Jews to tithe because he want them to be law abiding. But he will never never compel the gentiles to tithe because tithing isn't their thing.
So why are Christians today killing themselves over a law that is not their own? Even the current day Jews don't tithe anymore you can't compel me to tithe I'm not a jew. If i do tithe because i saw the Jews practicing the law in the bible, then I'm most ignorant Your postulation has no scriptural backing but one conceived from deception. So was CHRIST also referring to the Jews alone when HE was telling them about the importance of Mercy, justice and faith? You can as well imply from your own delusion that CHRUST wasn't referring to christians, just Jews when HE put the law straight about one man one wife, when HE emphasised on adultery of the heart or murder by just hating your brother. HE wasn't referring to you in all those scriptures, HE was referring to the Jews alone, since HIS audience were Jewish people right? Since I've shown you tithing in the new testament (as you falsely claimed it didn't exist there) you need a new twist, another dumb one for that matter to support your delusion. Every Jewish custom or practiced that the Pharisees brought in as GOD's law was exposed and rejected by CHRIST (mat 15:3). No need addressing your deception any further. You're lost Telling someone to go retrieve tithes and offerings made overtime to a pastor puts you on a special category of souls needing help. Even from a mere secular standard that was appalling. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Wrong To Confront A Pastor Politely by postmann: 7:21pm On Mar 26, 2023 |
paxonel: what is dumb is when people refuse to understand that there is time for everything. There was time for the old covenant when tithing was practiced by the Jews and God wasn't against it. But the moment Christ established the new covenant tithing seized to exist just like sacrificing of animals seized to exist.
If one is giving to the church no wahalla. But when a pastor is quoting old testament saying that you should tithe then he is playing on your intelligence, you don't know The devil evolves and tithing is his new tool of deception. It works against Christians with elements of greed. CHRIST was clear about tithing. So clear that no debate is necessary. Mat 23:23 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things." That tithing is less important than Justice, mercy and faith doesn't render it abolished. You should tithe, says CHRIST. |

paxonel: maddam, simply leave the church he is not a pastor. But before you go, request that he should return all the tithe and offering you have been paying him since you started coming to the church. If he refuse to give you back your money don't worry, just let it be and go, God will judge. Everything you said was on point except returning tithes. That's plain dumb. |

I expected the elderly ones to think inwardly and discover what the cause of their failure is genuinely... But they themselves love lies just to please themselves and make the unwise youths happy...
Obi just woke up one day as an accidental candidate.... What role/impact does he play within the ibo nation prior to his candidacy as labour party.... You just want to use him to get power in a fire brigade approach....it doesn't work that way....
When we say you don't have structure you always think it is about having agents across Nigeria....No It's about Leadership of your candidate within his Political zone before it is Extended to other zones .... What was his relationship with other people from zones prior to his candidacy...? How many people did he build up politically? Reasons why he dumped APGA to PDP and then to LP What did he stand for politically that would make people believe in his ideology?
At least Tinubu believed in a decentralized Nigeria and he has been saying that for years now, that is what some of us see in him that made us vote for him..
Obi just wanted to use same format which buhari used to deceive us in 2015, claiming he was coming to fight corruption...
Obi was just an errand boy that was just handpicked for a mission he can't accomplish...
I expected the ibo elders to call their youths now and tell them the bitter truths they hate to hear and begin to build up for 2027/31 elections, Rome is not built in a day....
Rather than do something now all of them both elders, youths, pastors, have started wailing again How my state election result take consain you and obi mata? Abi dem take obi and ibo swear for you? |

N3TRAL: David Mark was from the North Central. He's Nigeria's longest serving Senate president. After that Bukola Saraki still from the North Central did 4 years. The North Central cannot do it again.
What happens to the South South? Despite Igbo affinity, we gave Jagaban 25% in almost all the states.
Do you know the implication of an 80% for Obi in the South South like the South East? It would have been 11 States landslide.
How do you discredit how much work the likes of Wike, Akpabio and Oshiomole put in to preach Muslim Muslim Ticket to natives of an area with 98% Christians without mosques?
It's unfair. Una yourbas no dey rate us 😡
Very annoying thread for most of us.
The chairman lost Nasarawa State his State to Labour Party in that same North Central.
Labour party won Plateau State in that same North Central despite producing the campaign chairman, an incumbent Governor.
Benue State was so close that it could have gone anywhere. It's technically a draw between LP and APC just like Lagos. The win margin of APC has no meaning.
If we count Abuja-FCT based on its geography and boundary, APC did not even see 25% there.
North Central voted along religious lines. Kwara is technically Yoruba and Kogi to an extent with Muslim population. Niger State has a massive Muslim population too.
The only christians in Nigeria that didn't give a damn about the Muslim Muslim Ticket apart from the South West were South South christians.
Also consider the fact that APC was the dominant party in the North Central before the elections. KWARA, Kogi, Niger, Nasarawa and Plateau states had APC Governors.
South South delivered beyond imagination for a region with only one APC governor who defected. The South South will have at least 2 APC governors on the 29th of May (Delta State and Cross River State). The region is going APC and you must reward the people. All these your writeup all come down to if the South South acclaimed votes were actually a reflection of the actual ballot count. I'm from Delta state and I know what happened. And with what's on ground, I prefer a total INEC overhaul than scrambling for political position based on spoils of hardened criminals cum politicians. |

omooba969: What do you mean by "different outcomes with sexual exposure for both genders" or what were you expecting? Obviously there would be a different outcome, for example, the woman gets pregnant while the man doesn't. I have already furnished you with a probable similar outcomes as a result of a promiscuous life style in both genders by way of catching STI/HIV. If you knew all along that there are different outcomes for both genders when engaged in promiscuity, then you wouldn't have bothered with the bigbrodanaija fellow who clearly inferred thus; "promiscuity is bad for both genders but that there's still a difference with both genders". And there would have been no need of me quipping in. But you tried to shut him up hence our back and forth. And who said the difference is limited to pregnancy? Elementary biology tells us females are more prone to STDs than their male counterparts. Only a woke mind would ever dream of making a pretence of comparison in this subject. omooba969: You're only stating the obvious and yet to address why we should excuse 'the man' from complicity in terms of sexual promiscuity. I won't be cowed by cheap blackmail. No-one, not the bigbronaija fella nor myself ever gave a pass to male promiscuity. My first sentence to you was "...promiscuity is bad for both genders...". Honesty is a priceless virtue. omooba969: My verdict is that both genders suffer the consequences, obviously in different ways but this is another subject matter. Un-woke-edly put, the female gender generally suffers more consequences for promiscuity from a biological and social standpoint. Being un-woked means saying it as it is. |

As per your first paragraph suggesting that animals of the same gender don't wipe one another - well YouTube is your friend. Your first paragraph was a wild shot with no target in sight and no purpose in mind. You actually said nada! That both genders have different anatomical structures put paid to the fact that there're definitely different outcomes with sexual exposure for both genders. I'm driving at a point actually. It is wokesm to bring an unnatural act -- one even abhorred by beasts with lower intelligence -- into this context.
