The aircraft can be prime target during descent or take off from Katsina airport. I won't give you the job of guarding the President, if it were mine to give. 2 Likes |

Juliusmomoh: You are sure you are his biological son. Your dad is 76...meaning he is done with the school of life and is just waiting in the hallway to go meet God. Put yourself in his shoes. If you receive such news at that age, everything you have accomplished in life will evaporate and regret and self-contempt will fill that void. Do NOT tell him. If he had adopted the boy, would it matter now? No. What if he already knew but had taken it in his stride in order to give all of his children a beautiful legacy of family? Let it be. But you know what you know, and do not let what you know introduce biases that could wreck your harmony. Do not also wreck the life of your half brother. Consider him adopted. Period! If he was still an infant, you may ask the mother to leave. But not anymore. He's a man now. Abi? 1 Like |

valarmorghulis: Regret is a difficult season. But can you honestly answer this? Did you read some history about Buhari before you lent him your support? If you did, you have to explain why you overlooked the facts of history. If you didn't, well, Nigeria played you. Let's campaign for accurate accounts of history to be known by all citizens. We all have something we regret, but it's harder when it is a political miscalculation for which historical warnings abounded. |

sweetshisha: On which land were the Jews before and during the time of Jesus Christ? Do you know that the Jews were exiled for many centuries, after the death of Christ? Do you know that during the exile, their land was deliberately populated by the people we call Palestinians today? And that was done by the oppressors of the Jews to spite them? Thinking that in exiling them the Jews will perish and be forgotten and wiped off the face of the earth? Do you also know that the centuries-long exile ended when the Ottomans were defeated at the beginning of the 20th century? The Jews could not return to their homeland for many centuries, yet their language and history was well preserved. In spite of them being scattered around the world, these cultural assets were preserved. Now pause for a minute. Do you think that if you uproot and scatter any ethnic group today for upwards of 600 years, that they will survive it with their language and culture intact? That is the God factor. The force that created this Universe has given instructions, but the devil is using some people to thwart that will. But it can never be thwarted. Cut the tree from the roots, not the stem. Tell the story from the beginning, not from the middle. Jews did not just come to Palestine in 1947. The world thought that by uprooting and scattering them physically, they would destroy the spiritual force that set things up there. The world is kicking against pricks. I wish the violence will be de-escalated immediately. Palestinian civilians are bearing the brunt and are helpless. But the silent backers of Hamas should stop this nonsense. You can't fire rockets at Israel and still desire to sleep well. 2 Likes |

Studio247: Do you compliment him? Is he or has he been having a difficult financial flow? Is there something you know he desires but has been eluding him? Like a better paying job, or something else? He could be predominantly occupied in his thoughts about something (mostly financial) that he has time for nothing else but the success in that area. Instead of waiting for his compliment, you could reverse it by asking his opinion on your appearance, your dressing or anything else you want to be complimented on. Did he compliment you during courtship? If he did, then he is preoccupied now. If he didn't then it's his nature. Outsiders will always compliment. Don't be bothered by that. Don't you see how your president compliments other countries but calls his own 'lazy yoots'? Just laugh it off. 1 Like 1 Share |

This is mostly true, but Ndi Igbo could do similar to spite Yorubas. My dream is that Yoruba and Igbo leaders of taught and upright men should forge an alliance that will reset Nigeria. The ego tripping, rivalry and spite should cease, once and for all. Sunday Igboho will be frustrated by the kind of response he will get. He should pipe low and strategize. Generalization is killing our desire to get together and do meaningful things. When you say 'this is the truth Igbos hate to hear', you are painting everyone with the same brush. Every homogenous community has internal conflicts. There are always good and bad. Among the Yorubas, Hausas , Fulanis and every where else. I am proudly Igbo, and I am objective. Many years ago when I read this story from the annals of history, I was objective about it. How dare you say 'this is the truth Igbos hate to hear'. The truth stands anywhere, any time for all time. In your mind, you think you cannot find objective Igbos? Even if you get Niger Delta Republic today, you will still have internal conflicts. If the Yorubas get Oduduwa today, there will still be internal conflict, even among the Hausas and Fulanis, among the Germans and English/Irish/Welsh/Scots...its everywhere!!! Make your comments objectively, do NOT generalize. You will miss many beautiful opportunities when you do so. Yorubas are this, Hausas are that, Igbos are the other thing, Ijaws are this, all rubbish. Look closely and you will find the right people in every place. Jones4190: 6 Likes |

festacman: Yes, there's a Judicial Commission of Inquiry, whose report is the basis of authority for sealing the property. How dare you unseal what is sealed by a government! go to court and challenge it, instead of walking around with a superficial air of importance. If you are from Imo, or lived in Owerri, you will not need to look for evidence though. Rochas converted every prime real estate that belonged to the State to his own. He appointed his son-in-law as Commissioner for Lands and just took any land he set his eyes on. Imo Broadcasting Corporation property at Orji, Owerri, a vast land I have known from the time I was a child growing up in Owerri is just one of the real estate he stole. Rochas was broke before he became governor, only to re-emerge a billionaire after 8 years. His wife has no business venture, neither had she worked before. Just because you are the governor's wife, you suddenly become owner of that huge property? This is similar to Dame Patience Jonathan's ownership of luxury real estate. I commend the governor for having the balls to move for recovery. This is no witch hunt. I am not a supporter of Hope Uzodinma, I believe he will do only 1 term because Ndi Imo are livid with the Supreme Court for a nonsensical judgment that will haunt all of them justices till death. |

The new police act allows for private investigators and detectives, just like we used to read in foreign crime novels. It will only be a matter of time before the culprits are nabbed. The Nigeria police won't lift a finger unless it's a politician's family. But with private effort, it can be done. Your statement represents some of the worst of Nigerian thought processes. Your statement is a state-of-origin kind of statement. People pay taxes where they live and have every right to know how they are governed or seek justice. Even if a god movement is started by someone, your likes will always find a crack to slide in your ethnic limitations. You are wanting to be like your oppressor. Bad luck. Ddokie: Complete summary. Thanks. Why some yoruba and igbo youths continually insult each other, I can't get my head around it. In every matter that is on the national table, you see this despicable insults flying around. Many uninformed and vile yorubas find a way to rope Igbos into the matter, and vice versa. Whether they are impostors sowing seeds of discord, or they are uninformed, I am yet to understand. You all who write these shameful comments should have your heads examined. The saying that the long oppressed wish to be like their masters, looking for the next weak person to oppress, is so true. Instead of fighting to regain their freedom, many yorubas and many igbos descend to the gutter to trade insults, losing focus of the common enemy. Very despicable. I am Igbo and can't stand either of you sides that write these despicable things. Yorubas and Igbos have the potential to lift this country up from the pits of hell it has descended into. But how the worst of them manage to get the best of us to focus on mundane tribal ego trips beats my imagination. 1 Like |

On the other hand, some husbands are an emotional terror to their wife, but the women find strength in their children. Unfortunately, we don't know why this man took his life. Frankly, I like your submissions. Truly pragmatic and drawn from observable facts. My only reservation on polygamy is that it conflicts with my Christian teachings. Other than that, the dynamics you stated are simply true. Last year I visited my Godmother's family during her funeral. We all spent some time talking about her life and the days of polygamy and all sorts of old stories to celebrate her generation. Her eldest son recounted how his father's wives used to seek his attention because there was competition. He said his father had a pair of distinct wrappers for each wife. His way of communicating which wife would spend the night with him was by tying any wrapper of his choice around his waist in the evening. The wife with the matching wrapper and indeed all other wives would get the message. Polygamy indeed destroys the monopoly...but in the present economy, especially in Africa, only a few men dare it. So we have to find and make compromises. RisenPhoenix1: 57 Likes 2 Shares |

betatalk: An unethical conduct is an offence. Everything in life is about leadership. Not everyone can lead. Organizations, families, nation states, ships on the ocean, aircraft in the air, everything at all that commands respect and has an objective requires LEADERSHIP. When you, find yourself in a leadership position in any endeavor, you must rise above board to lead. A captain doesn't get drunk with whiskey, even though all on board are having a merry time, neither does a pilot dabble into frivolous things while in the cockpit. A president or King does not do these things. Likewise, a CEO should not have an affair with one under his command. Unethical conduct is an offence, graver because he is in a leadership position and can ruin lives if he doesn't wield his power with responsibility. He should resign immediately...of course (if this is true). 12 Likes 3 Shares |

There is something in their psyche, it will take an honest and transparent investigation to unravel it. I now believe, it is better for Nigeria women to start earning money BEFORE they get married. I am not glorifying men o. I am a man, and there are psyche problems too. I am simply responding to this comment. Nigerian environment raises our women in a certain way, which largely keeps them unemployed before marriage. 1 Like |

OP, Don't do anything you will regret later. Your wife has honored you by refusing the man. Focus on this victory, ignore the anger you feel. Some things will never change. This is one of them, that men (and women) will always be tempted to go after what they can't legally have. Why do you think it is in the commandments (if you value them)? Focus on the HONOR your wife has bestowed on you. That's your victory bro. Ensure you bestow same honor to her anytime the opportunity presents itself. thesilentman: 2 Likes |

I can see right away that you exhibit the same kind of temperament and thought process that our current leaders have. You have just blown open the door for peers to snitch on each other (something that can easily be abused to bear false witnesses against one another just to curry favor or to pull down one another). The government has ALL the intelligence apparatus you can name. Use it well to find those who are violently against the State and prosecute them. Do you want to pretend that if IPOB were not in existence, the mayhem we have witnessed wouldn't have occurred? Are you blind to the insecurity that mass hunger, mass deprivation and mass unemployment poses to this country? You want to conveniently blame it on IPOB because Nnamdi Kanu makes broadcasts? How can you prove that such broadcasts are responsible for the destructions? I tell you, if his broadcasts are to be blamed, then you are implying he is capable of overrunning this government by just making broadcasts. He is not as powerful as you imply and I can tell you that those broadcasts are only on air for him to maintain mindshare of the government, it does not influence as many people as you imply, otherwise our governments would have been run over a long time ago. The cup of police brutality was just full, it occurred almost nationwide simultaneously. Blame no one but the government and how we have carried on for decades now. Ndi Igbo are largely individual-minded and cannot be led by one person. Always remember this. He may be an okada rider, a barrow pusher or a keke driver, but he has an ambition to build a house in his village and own his own business, not to be used as a pawn by Nnamdi Kanu. They may usually identify with some of his pronouncements, but definitely not the suicidal or self-annihilating ones. Please revise your thoughts on this. mekaboy: |

lonelydora: Don't jump to conclusions so fast. What forensic evidence or capabilities do our Nigeria Police Force have? Did you see the photo of the policeman holding a scooping cup and pouring out the so-called malt drink at the underground factory discovered in Ikorodu? He was using his bare hands!!! Can that cup stand as evidence in court, with his fingerprints smeared all over? I can imagine the police would have walked all over that house, moving things around, turning off the gas cooker with their bare hands, opening doors and touching all manner of things with reckless abandon. When the Danish embassy will insist on visiting the crime scene, they will only find fingerprints of Nigerian police officers and then claim that the police set their citizen up. Think about that. 4 Likes 1 Share |
