What kind of Anti Aircraft Gun is in the possession of the Bandits that can threaten GMB aircraft?

I find it so hard to believe this news.

Except they have a SAM, no anti aircraft gun can take down any of the presidential jets cause of how high they do fly.

Gusau is next door to Katsina. If the president is scheduled to fly to Katsina and an anti-aircraft gun is at large in Gusau...Is that how much you want to endanger the President?

The aircraft can be prime target during descent or take off from Katsina airport. I won't give you the job of guarding the President, if it were mine to give.

I know am his legitimate son... My problem now is, what if i tell him and this old man died out of surprise?

You are sure you are his biological son.
Your dad is 76...meaning he is done with the school of life and is just waiting in the hallway to go meet God.

Put yourself in his shoes. If you receive such news at that age, everything you have accomplished in life will evaporate and regret and self-contempt will fill that void. Do NOT tell him.

If he had adopted the boy, would it matter now? No. What if he already knew but had taken it in his stride in order to give all of his children a beautiful legacy of family?

Let it be. But you know what you know, and do not let what you know introduce biases that could wreck your harmony.

Do not also wreck the life of your half brother. Consider him adopted. Period! If he was still an infant, you may ask the mother to leave. But not anymore. He's a man now. Abi?

Regret is a difficult season. But can you honestly answer this? Did you read some history about Buhari before you lent him your support?

If you did, you have to explain why you overlooked the facts of history. If you didn't, well, Nigeria played you. Let's campaign for accurate accounts of history to be known by all citizens. We all have something we regret, but it's harder when it is a political miscalculation for which historical warnings abounded.

Judaism is from Moses the true Prophet of Yahweh, and one of the few to see Jehovah in physical form.. it's based on the principles of Laws God revealed to Moses

Christianity is from Peter the friend of Jesus who denied him on the cross before death, son of Mariam, and Roman Emperor Constantine of Roman Empire, the murderers of Jesus son of Mariam.. principles of Christianity is based on European Paganism and devil worship... Like December 25 X-Mas or Easter

The only thing i respect about Lamidi Cownu is the fact that he knows Christianity is European slave masters bullshit and sticks only to Judaism like the true Isrealites

4 people to never allow in your ancestorial land

#1 Ibos. Aka No man's Land

#2 Fulanis. aka all lands belongs to Allah and Uthman danfodio

#3 Jews refugees from Europe, aka God gave us your land so leave the land to us and go away

#4 Chinese, aka we now own your land because some people took loan from us

.

On which land were the Jews before and during the time of Jesus Christ?

Do you know that the Jews were exiled for many centuries, after the death of Christ?

Do you know that during the exile, their land was deliberately populated by the people we call Palestinians today? And that was done by the oppressors of the Jews to spite them? Thinking that in exiling them the Jews will perish and be forgotten and wiped off the face of the earth?

Do you also know that the centuries-long exile ended when the Ottomans were defeated at the beginning of the 20th century? The Jews could not return to their homeland for many centuries, yet their language and history was well preserved. In spite of them being scattered around the world, these cultural assets were preserved.

Now pause for a minute. Do you think that if you uproot and scatter any ethnic group today for upwards of 600 years, that they will survive it with their language and culture intact?

That is the God factor. The force that created this Universe has given instructions, but the devil is using some people to thwart that will. But it can never be thwarted.

Cut the tree from the roots, not the stem. Tell the story from the beginning, not from the middle. Jews did not just come to Palestine in 1947. The world thought that by uprooting and scattering them physically, they would destroy the spiritual force that set things up there. The world is kicking against pricks.

I wish the violence will be de-escalated immediately. Palestinian civilians are bearing the brunt and are helpless. But the silent backers of Hamas should stop this nonsense. You can't fire rockets at Israel and still desire to sleep well.

Family / Re: In My 7 Years Of Marriage My Husband Has Never Complimented Me by POTUT(m): 12:07pm On May 15, 2021
Studio247:
Sometimes I wonder if it's normal or is just the man I married or there are men like this I have been married now for 7 years.

And for ones my husband has never complimented me in anyways.

The funny thing is people outside will appreciate and compliment me even before him but not the man I married no Matter how much effort I put into doing anything.

Several times I spoke to him about it
But he will flare up.

And for me I feel appreciating and complimenting.
Your partner makes them happy and give them the energy to do better.

I don't know

Do you compliment him?

Is he or has he been having a difficult financial flow?

Is there something you know he desires but has been eluding him? Like a better paying job, or something else?

He could be predominantly occupied in his thoughts about something (mostly financial) that he has time for nothing else but the success in that area.

Instead of waiting for his compliment, you could reverse it by asking his opinion on your appearance, your dressing or anything else you want to be complimented on.

Did he compliment you during courtship? If he did, then he is preoccupied now. If he didn't then it's his nature.

Outsiders will always compliment. Don't be bothered by that. Don't you see how your president compliments other countries but calls his own 'lazy yoots'? Just laugh it off.

This is mostly true, but Ndi Igbo could do similar to spite Yorubas.

My dream is that Yoruba and Igbo leaders of taught and upright men should forge an alliance that will reset Nigeria. The ego tripping, rivalry and spite should cease, once and for all. Sunday Igboho will be frustrated by the kind of response he will get. He should pipe low and strategize. It takes years to happen, not weeks.

Generalization is killing our desire to get together and do meaningful things. When you say 'this is the truth Igbos hate to hear', you are painting everyone with the same brush. Every homogenous community has internal conflicts. There are always good and bad. Among the Yorubas, Hausas , Fulanis and every where else. I am proudly Igbo, and I am objective. Many years ago when I read this story from the annals of history, I was objective about it. How dare you say 'this is the truth Igbos hate to hear'. The truth stands anywhere, any time for all time. In your mind, you think you cannot find objective Igbos? Even if you get Niger Delta Republic today, you will still have internal conflicts. If the Yorubas get Oduduwa today, there will still be internal conflict, even among the Hausas and Fulanis, among the Germans and English/Irish/Welsh/Scots...its everywhere!!!

Make your comments objectively, do NOT generalize. You will miss many beautiful opportunities when you do so. Yorubas are this, Hausas are that, Igbos are the other thing, Ijaws are this, all rubbish. Look closely and you will find the right people in every place.

Jones4190:
ARE YOU A BIAFRAN?
Those who arrested and sentenced Isaac Adaka Boro to death for declaring Niger Delta Republic were neither Hausa-Fulanis nor Yorubas but two supposed brothers of his and Biafrans named Odumegwu Ojukwu and Aguiyi Ironsi who were still on the side of Gambaris and still trying to please them as at then. For declaring Niger-Delta Republic Ironsi, the then military head of state, ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason.
Ojukwu, in an attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for 14 days within which he used federal might of “one-Nigeria” to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him to court and within just 2 months got him convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe’s one Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging. While Ironsi and Ojukwu did all that to Isaac Boro, they left untouched their own Igbo brother soldiers who planned a coup with which they killed Innocent Hausas, Yorubas, Niger Deltans, Middle belters leaving Igbo politicians unharmed despite they, like Zik and Okpara, were part and parcel of the corrupt Balewa government.
However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and the counter coup happened. Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent and released him. But just fifteen months later Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the way Igbos were being killed in the North. In declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but without consulting Boro at all went as far as arrogantly including in his Biafra map the very Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly killed him for.
This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his arrogance and dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war. Naturally Isaac Boro couldn’t have come out of prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight against the Gowon who released him. It would have been absurd. No rational human being does that.
This is the truth of what happened and which Igbos hate to hear but prefer to blame everyone else as if they themselves were 100℅ innocent.
Igbos must learn to say the truth because if the Biafra/Niger Delta Republic they now seek is founded on lies and deliberate falsehood, like Nigeria, it will not stand but will soon become a failed state like Nigeria. We can’t leave Nigeria for another Nigeria.
But we however know that Igbos allergy to truth is incurable, therefore Niger-Delta states will never be part of Biafra

In the marriage setting the two have become one and therefore should partake in doing things together, chores, finances etc

Its shocking how some women feel its ok to earn almost the same money as their men and feel zero obligation to contribute to anything in the family. Not just that, they now selfishly insist on spending their partners money. Who is raising these girls to think like that?
I have a colleague whose wife works very much like him yet she contributed nothing to the home but instead sends her own money to her family as if the man has no family too to send money to. This selfish act must stop!

Many women are listening to social media 'influencers' who are throwing around dogmas from there personal experiences. Many of those experiences are not good ones.

In a marriage, it's a partnership that demands the two to bring things together. Money, body, opinions, energy, knowledge and spirituality. There's no room for individuality.

What I don't understand is why a public servant would OPENLY (I.e not using a front) build a hotel complex and a university with Imo State money and wants to convert them to his own personal real assets.

If there are clear pieces of evidence tha Rochas Okorocha used public money to build these two heavily-funded complexes and perhaps more, why is he still fighting shamelessly?

Is Hope Uzodimma just witchhunting Rochas as part of political rivalry? Did any court of competent jurisdiction order the seizure of this properties?

Please anybody who knows the true situation should help me.

Yes, there's a Judicial Commission of Inquiry, whose report is the basis of authority for sealing the property. How dare you unseal what is sealed by a government! go to court and challenge it, instead of walking around with a superficial air of importance.

If you are from Imo, or lived in Owerri, you will not need to look for evidence though. Rochas converted every prime real estate that belonged to the State to his own. He appointed his son-in-law as Commissioner for Lands and just took any land he set his eyes on.

Imo Broadcasting Corporation property at Orji, Owerri, a vast land I have known from the time I was a child growing up in Owerri is just one of the real estate he stole.

Rochas was broke before he became governor, only to re-emerge a billionaire after 8 years. His wife has no business venture, neither had she worked before. Just because you are the governor's wife, you suddenly become owner of that huge property?

This is similar to Dame Patience Jonathan's ownership of luxury real estate.

I commend the governor for having the balls to move for recovery. This is no witch hunt. I am not a supporter of Hope Uzodinma, I believe he will do only 1 term because Ndi Imo are livid with the Supreme Court for a nonsensical judgment that will haunt all of them justices till death.

Complete summary. Thanks.

Why some yoruba and igbo youths continually insult each other, I can't get my head around it. In every matter that is on the national table, you see this despicable insults flying around. Many uninformed and vile yorubas find a way to rope Igbos into the matter, and vice versa. Whether they are impostors sowing seeds of discord, or they are uninformed, I am yet to understand. You all who write these shameful comments should have your heads examined.

The saying that the long oppressed wish to be like their masters, looking for the next weak person to oppress, is so true. Instead of fighting to regain their freedom, many yorubas and many igbos descend to the gutter to trade insults, losing focus of the common enemy.

Very despicable.

I am Igbo and can't stand either of you sides that write these despicable things. Yorubas and Igbos have the potential to lift this country up from the pits of hell it has descended into. Frankly, I like your submissions. Truly pragmatic and drawn from observable facts.

My only reservation on polygamy is that it conflicts with my Christian teachings. Other than that, the dynamics you stated are simply true.

Last year I visited my Godmother's family during her funeral. We all spent some time talking about her life and the days of polygamy and all sorts of old stories to celebrate her generation. Her eldest son recounted how his father's wives used to seek his attention because there was competition. He said his father had a pair of distinct wrappers for each wife. His way of communicating which wife would spend the night with him was by tying any wrapper of his choice around his waist in the evening. The wife with the matching wrapper and indeed all other wives would get the message.

Polygamy indeed destroys the monopoly...but in the present economy, especially in Africa, only a few men dare it. So we have to find and make compromises.

RisenPhoenix1:

2.) You do not have to be a practising anything to study the concept and see whether it works. Both my grandfather's were practising polygamists. We spent practically all our holidays in their homes in Nigeria. I saw first hand how polygamy worked. That is why I'm an ardent supporter.
3.) Perhaps you did not comprehend my point. I never said polygamy meams a man is strong, or that it is an answer to feminism. I said that feminists; both male and female; dislike polygamy because it's a leveller. It takes away the female monopoly on marital sex. In order to take away the inclination of a man to be polygamous, the narrative was spread that the only advantage of 'uncivilzed' polygamy lay in the need to have many children to work on farms; or that it was only engaged in by barbaric, lecherous men. In reality, agriculture or lust were never the only, or even the main, objectives behind polygamy. The rest of your remonstration I cannot make head or tail of.
4.) Once more, you may choose to believe or not. You are the one seeking help. When you've finished trying to convince your wife to give you more sex, you will remember what I said. That will be my final victory. Either you will toe my path and become polygamous, have sex with other women (which is like polygamy, but in a craven way), buy a sex doll and hide it from your wife, or hide from your wife and pleasure yourself. It's your choice.

But one thing I'm sure of is that you ain't getting more from her while she's the only one.

And yes I'm qualified. I grew up in two polygamous homes. The kind of true respect that my two grandfathers had from their wives up until the day they died, no man can hope to even come near today. One of the women is still alive today and she talks about him misty eyed, to this day.

He has committed no offence apart from what the writer said unethical conduct.

An unethical conduct is an offence. Everything in life is about leadership. Not everyone can lead. Organizations, families, nation states, ships on the ocean, aircraft in the air, everything at all that commands respect and has an objective requires LEADERSHIP.

When you, find yourself in a leadership position in any endeavor, you must rise above board to lead. A captain doesn't get drunk with whiskey, even though all on board are having a merry time, neither does a pilot dabble into frivolous things while in the cockpit. A president or King does not do these things. Likewise, a CEO should not have an affair with one under his command.

Unethical conduct is an offence, graver because he is in a leadership position and can ruin lives if he doesn't wield his power with responsibility.

He should resign immediately...of course (if this is true).

Very sadly, this cannot be overlooked. There is SOMETHING about (Nigerian) women starting to earn money after being married. I am not glorifying men o. I am a man, and there are psyche problems too. I am simply responding to this comment. Nigerian environment raises our women in a certain way, which largely keeps them unemployed before marriage.

Programming / Re: Thread For International Remote Tech Jobs - US, UK, Canada, Germany, UAE... by POTUT(m): 7:44am On Dec 13, 2020
We're waiting...thanks.
CareerPorte:
Hello guys,

This thread is for Software developers, data analysts, data scientists, BI analysts, and programmers who are interested in securing remote jobs internationally.

In the next couple of days, I am going to be posting some remote jobs available in different parts of the world.

Did you know that as a Nigerian, you can get a remote job that pays as high as $5000 per month. This will be dependent on your skill level, experience and expertise.

Many companies in the US are hiring remote workers now and you too can get that opportunity you have always wanted in the Tech space.

I would need a couple of comments or like as an affirmation that you guys are ready. Then we will set the ball rolling.
Family / Re: What Do Some Men Gain From Sleeping With Other Men's Wives??? by POTUT(m): 6:52pm On Oct 24, 2020
OP,

Don't do anything you will regret later.

Your wife has honored you by refusing the man. Focus on this victory, ignore the anger you feel.

Some things will never change. This is one of them, that men (and women) will always be tempted to go after what they can't legally have. Why do you think it is in the commandments (if you value them)?

Focus on the HONOR your wife has bestowed on you. That's your victory bro. Ensure you bestow same honor to her anytime the opportunity presents itself.

I'm mad right now at all my fellow men.
I just wanna know, what's the gain there?

Recently I almost couldn't believe my ears when SHE (yeah, my capital letters She; my wife) told me that our landlord wooed her. Even told her to quit the house - cleaning schedule for her own daughter.

Imagine! Am looking at his back right now and I feel like stabbing him from behind. Bleep! all.

Some men are big time scumbags.
Imagine, marriage that's not even up to a month. Imagine that bastard.

Sure, am moving house by month-end.
Bleep all Randy men!

Politics / Re: Time For South-East Governors To Flush IPOB Out Of The Region by POTUT(m): 6:43pm On Oct 24, 2020
I can see right away that you exhibit the same kind of temperament and thought process that our current leaders have. You have just blown open the door for peers to snitch on each other (something that can easily be abused to bear false witnesses against one another just to curry favor or to pull down one another).

The government has ALL the intelligence apparatus you can name. Use it well to find those who are violently against the State and prosecute them.

Do you want to pretend that if IPOB were not in existence, the mayhem we have witnessed wouldn't have occurred? Are you blind to the insecurity that mass hunger, mass deprivation and mass unemployment poses to this country?

You want to conveniently blame it on IPOB because Nnamdi Kanu makes broadcasts? How can you prove that such broadcasts are responsible for the destructions?

I tell you, if his broadcasts are to be blamed, then you are implying he is capable of overrunning this government by just making broadcasts.

He is not as powerful as you imply and I can tell you that those broadcasts are only on air for him to maintain mindshare of the government, it does not influence as many people as you imply, otherwise our governments would have been run over a long time ago.

The cup of police brutality was just full, it occurred almost nationwide simultaneously. Blame no one but the government and how we have carried on for decades now.

Ndi Igbo are largely individual-minded and cannot be led by one person. Always remember this. He may be an okada rider, a barrow pusher or a keke driver, but he has an ambition to build a house in his village and own his own business, not to be used as a pawn by Nnamdi Kanu. They may usually identify with some of his pronouncements, but definitely not the suicidal or self-annihilating ones.

Please revise your thoughts on this.
mekaboy:
From the destruction associated with this protest, its time the SE governors flush IPOB out of the region.

These touts and holigans that Nnamdi Kanu inspires wrecked havock in the eastern states.

Some of them are okada and keke riders, Some are Barrow pushers, some are touts without any skill or work, some are armed robbers, some are traders.

These uneducated bunch want to destroy the sweat of hardworking igbos. Some of these igbos started with nothing and have made something out of their lives. While the touts who refuse to take responsibility for the choices they made in their life, want to use the protest to destroy the labour of others.

If INNOSON, IBETO, COSCHARIS ETC, folded their arms and was blaming the north for their poor background, they would not make anything out of their lives.

Nnamdi kanu who is a failure home and abroad, using Biafran stuggle to enrich himself. Cashing out on the emotions and sentiments of his gullible followers. Telling failures like himself that someone in the North is responsible for their backwardness.

The Governors should:

1) Ensure that all keke, okada riders, barrow pushers, labourers and traders have identity and registration.

2) they have to sign undertaking that if for any reason any of their members engage in any thing that affects peace in the region. They will either fishout the IPOB members among them or the entire keke riders will be banned.

3) same goes with the traders. Any trader involved in IPOB activities, will cause the government to relocate the market to an uncomfortable place. Unless other traders fish them out.

The leaders of such groups will now have the responsibility for fishout IPOB members among them, before they spoil things for the rest of them.

That frustrated fraudster nnamdi kanu, who could not attend his parents burial out of fear, cant be causing problems for us.

A word is enough for the wise.
Celebrities / Re: How Peter Nielsen Killed Alizee And Their Daughter - Police Tells Court. by POTUT(m): 7:20am On Apr 12, 2018
lonelydora:
I always tell peeps, no matter how jaga jaga the country looks..the law still works.

Peter Nielsen heard so many stories about the unseriousness of our security agencies and thought he could kill and get away with it because he's a foreigner. Now the law is resetting his mindset about Nigeria.

May he rot in jail.

Don't jump to conclusions so fast. What forensic evidence or capabilities do our Nigeria Police Force have? Did you see the photo of the policeman holding a scooping cup and pouring out the so-called malt drink at the underground factory discovered in Ikorodu? He was using his bare hands!!! Can that cup stand as evidence in court, with his fingerprints smeared all over? I can imagine the police would have walked all over that house, moving things around, turning off the gas cooker with their bare hands, opening doors and touching all manner of things with reckless abandon. When the Danish embassy will insist on visiting the crime scene, they will only find fingerprints of Nigerian police officers and then claim that the police set their citizen up. Think about that.
