But to be honest buhari fall my hand Sha. I was expecting this guy to be locked up till 2055. Thot they said fulani don't forgive It is one thing that illiterate Buhari is behaving like a tyrant. It's another kettle of fish for a literate fellow to be behaving like a fool. The justice system was set in place for a reason. Locking up a "criminal" even if he killed someone without following due process is injustice. You may not understand it now until similar thing happens to you or someone close to you. Without justice there will be anarchy. Society cannot develop without justice. You don't unilaterally declear someone guilty just because "evidences" were pointing towards it. |

Merry Christmas Nigeria! I don't think I will be going out. Not because I am broke. But as at now, I don't just feel like. A fully charged phone, laptop and 9G of data will do (which are already in place).
May this season ushers in glad tidings!
May God, for the sake of us who neither voted for Buhari nor Atiku, lend Buhari's administration sense to grow the economy instead of destroying it.

It might interest you to know that Nigeria has been the one shouldering the burden of the entire West Africa when we should be focusing on ourselves. Even Ghana's electricity is powered by Nigeria's gas. If something happens to the West African Gas pipeline powered by Nigeria, light drops significantly in Ghana.
The earlier we started redirecting our resources inwards the better for us. When we get it right, then we can start exporting energy again. The question is, are you giving Ghana gas for free? The power sector in Nigeria is POORLY managed. Revenue collection efficiency by DISCOs is abysmal. |

Ozekhome God punish you for always being on hand to defend Criminals I was about to like your comment until you mentioned Ozekhome. Nigga has quit politics for while and face his profession full time. He is not a card-carrying member of any political party. His prayer as a lawyer is for criminals, the big ones, to always have issues. Like every good business man, he wants to make money. Blame the system for allowing this charade. Everything in Nigeria is a joke. Once a thieve is caught, he will suddenly become sick. Ozekhome's job is to explore the weakness of the law. |

Sirjamo: This is a misleading and mischievous article. Fulani don't fight for Islam, they fight for their Animals. Majority of nomadic Fulani don't believe in any religion, they don't go to mosque, neither do they offer Salat anywhere.
Boko haram too might be claiming Islam, but they are deceiving themselves. Whenever their camps get raided by security agents, they always find thousands of Condoms, alcohol, hard drugs and women they keep as sex slaves. Rape alone is punishable by death in Islam so all Boko haram has been sentenced to death Insha Allah, thousands of our Mujahedin in the civilian JTF have been helping the military to destroy those unfortunate infidels called Boko haram, because they have no place in Islam and the World!!! By Jehovah's grace, I am a Christian. But I am quiet pleased with your view. At least it clears many things. Though, Bokoharam claim they are they only true Muslims who have come to fulfill the will of "ALLAH" on "INFIDELS". On the flip side, the northern elites seems to be pleased with the activities of BH. I am yet to see any northerner come out publicly to denounce them. I don't know if they are scared though. I am of the view that Christians should have millitia groups. Because the world we live now requires it. But I always advocate that such should not be to inflict pains on people of other faith like BH was doing. But to stand in defence of the cross. Because it seems that in this present world, tolerance has gone through the window. Somebody will be teaching his little boy everyday that anybody that is not a Muslim is enemy of Allah. The innocent boy will grow up to become menace. |

Romance › Re: Why Men Should Marry Single Mothers by Powersurge: 3:41am On Dec 20, 2019 |
90% of the single mother you would meet in this generation are baggages. In them you will find someone who got carried away by materialism and "get belle" in the process, some who bailed at the slightest marital challenge, a feminist, the list goes on.
I met one in service then, she had a 5-year old child. she was totally responsible for his upkeep (it was financially stressful for her). One thing I observed was that she ALWAYS lay curses on the father of her baby.
We got talking one day and I asked her how the whole thing came to be. She told me that she was rolling with the guy when she was in school. The guy was not a graduate. But he used to have some money (he ran a viewing center business around her school).
While some of her "broke" course mates would have been worshipping her to get her attention, babe was been dickmatized and monetized by an illiterate.
PS: We were rolling together in service. I would have considered her to be my wife, until I told her one day while discussing that I cannot marry a single mother or someone from the other religion. I never knew she had a child then. She kept it hush hush. Perhaps she was planning on telling me at her own pace while pulling the victim card.
So when she was finally telling me about it, she was saying so from the position of someone who has nothing to lose. If we were still together, of course you wouldn't have expected her to say she ran after money na. She would have obviously pulled the victim card on me. |

I believe your friend is still in his early 20s? He needed some personal growing up of his own. iPhone X for a relationship that was less than 2 months? He was been led by emotion. And emotion could lead one to his early grave.
For you OP, yes, there is a hoe in every woman as there is a cheat in every man (control makes the difference), but if you continue with the mindset of no woman worths it, you might miss that very important one. Give everybody opportunity to fail themselves first. But while doing that, don't be like your friend that allowed emotion to lead the way.
I have gotten to a level that VERY FEW things surprise me. This is helping me to live a life, independent of what the other person does (if s/he finally fail herself). |

larride: How many countries in the world provide free “tertiary” education?
Education is expensive anywhere in the world but Nigeria made it affordable for a lot of people. Appreciate that. It’s an open secret that we have infrastructure deficit that must be tackled. No one is denying that.
Nigeria provides animalistic Education yen yen yen but most still use this same degree to pursue masters even Ph.d abroad and those schools still accept those degrees.
Society was not designed for everyone to be a graduate. Thousands or even millions of graduates are doing this kind of jobs (plumbing, welding n the likes). It is the arrogance I’m talking about that makes you think once you are a graduate, you are not cut for those kind of work anymore.
When you finally get the chance to travel out of the country, maybe your view on this will change.
Finally, what have you done for Nigeria? Education is free in Norway, Sweden and Ireland. There are more but can't remember. Keep quoting J.F Kennedy. Ambazonians are using Cameroon's passport but it doesn't mean Cameroon has the best passport. Because for now, they are cursed with Cameroon. Nigeriens use their certificate as well. Does that make their glorified secondary schools better? We have being used to decay for so long in this country, hence we celebrate rags. The leaders know the system is animalistic. That's why their kids will not school here. That's why your president will travel to UK to treat ear infection. That's why many of them are having dual citizenship. But it seems you are among the 1% of the 1% that believe. It's a great thing. However, faith is not a leap in the dark. It's a leap on something. About what I have done for Nigeria, I will just pass on that. |

larride: Let me chip in some thoughts.
I think social media has really amplified life challenges to be “peculiar” to Nigeria. I smile whenever I see people discussing issues or any challenge and the I hear Nigeria has “failed” us.
Yes, Nigeria is struggling as we have had mixture of good and terrible leaders in between but life happens to everyone irrespective of the country or wherever you are.
Now back to the issue of jobs, the government cannot provide job for over 50m employable Youths. Even the private sector cannot provide that much job in a developing nation. Even a country as developed like US or Canada has millions of Artisans. If you have anyone in these countries, ask them the kind of jobs that’s scattered around. You see plumbers, mechanics, capernters, welders, painters and the likes but ask our Youth to go gain soft skills to make ends meet and you start hearing all sort. The ignorance/arrogance that they are too big for these kind of jobs is alarming.
If you attended Public Varsity in Nigeria, you have no moral right to say “Nigeria hasn’t done anything for me”. Nigeria public university is the cheapest in the world. It’s funny how those we schooled in Ife and paid around 15k per session which is about $50, come out and still lambast the government that gave them “almost free” tertiary education. Go calculate how much Engr, Medicine, Law, Accounting and the likes cost in these foreign universities and you will see Nigeria education is 97% subsidized.
I once read a thread on Twitter where some people in the US were lamenting how they are stuck with student loan they took while pursuing their degree. Imagine owing $120,000 to get a degree, after 7 years of constant monthly repayment you are still owing about $130k. Most of you finished University debt free, be grateful to the nation that made it possible. Nigeria has not done anything for you, what have you done for Nigeria?
There are a lot of people going through life challenges everywhere. May we find comfort in every aspect of our life. Firstly, there are countries with standard education and almost zero fees. Does Nigeria gives you chance to even collect loan to save life let alone school? Have you ever wondered y people struggle to pay the so-called "15k naira" , while some other countries struggle to pay "20k dollars"? Nigeria sinks everyday into abyss of decadence. China and Brazil are Nigeria's contemporaries. They are not there yet but they are neck and shoulder above Nigeria. Someone told me that some years ago, late Bola Ige went to UI. When he was about to deliver his speech, he kept looking towards his left hand side. He looked for about 5 minutes. When he turned to face the audience, tears were rolling down his cheeks. He cried because he was looking at a particular hostel where he stayed as a student. He saw students scampering for everything. If you were like Bola who saw Nigeria in her glory, saying she has failed would have been the least you would say. Society was not designed for graduate to be selling puff puff, or doing weldering (even if they bring billions). Most people you will find in those endeavours in those other countries are not graduates. If I had belong to a country called "Dunderia", chances are I would have gone to school. That Nigeria provides animalistic education system doesn't make her worthy. In Abraham Maslow's generally accepted"need theory". The basic thing that every human being supposed to have are water, food, clothing, clean air, health etc. A country is not supposed to exist if she can't provide these. Nigeria is an aberration. |
