if you want 13m farmers to produce for 220m people then it has to be mechanized farm but how many famers have the machines as alot of them practice substinence agriculture
13m farmers to a population of 200m is even too much. We don't need up to 10m farmers. That's like a farmer to every 20 Nigerian. Even if they're not mechanized farmers they're still too many.

The UK by comparison has less than 150,000 farmers. It only shows that our farmers are lacking a lot coupled with the menace of fulanis.

An average Nigerian is selfish. As far as they are benefiting from a bad government they will not complain forgetting that nothing last forever.

And average Nigerian is selfish and will prefer to commit suicide instead of sacrificing that same life to go to aso Rock or national assembly deal with those leaders and make name for themselves for the living to benefit.

Nigerians should stop dying for nothing. Instead of committing suicide why note use that life as a sacrifice a visit house of assembly, aso rock or the judiciary. The good this is that they may not kill you. But even if they kill you you become a hero instead of committing suicide

The man must be a very foolish Mumu to think that Nigerians will replace an Igbo man from the South East with a sitting Yoruba President from The South West.

The selfish minded Hypocrites has cost the South East the presidency if not careful till 2051, because after Shettima, Wike or another South South Person will take over.
That's if Tinubu can ever win the next election. Even northerners wil gladly vote against Tinubu if things continue like this and Obi partners with Kwakanso and agrees to use only one term like Jonathan did.

so he no know say our crude oil no too good before sourcing out subsided funds and tax waivers from Nigerian government.
this is an elite fraud if you ask me.

Okpari ooooooooo! After everything breakfast go reach everyone!

Just wait until Dangote refinery demand for US crude and the attendant need for USD start pressuring the Naira, una go understand say, economic laws, laws of Nature and Nature's G-d has consequences whenever you break it!

Anyway, anytime person wake naim be he own morning!

OH WOW, so tell us the great secrets of manufacturing, Mr Expert?

Are people not manufacturing and making money in Nigeria today?

If you are in the wrong business, ask around and re-skill or retool yourself instead of being a dinosaur.
Go and sit down. A government that can't produce and transmit adequate electricity or protect farmers and other citizens from Fulani marauders hardly qualifies to c point fingers at such citizens.

Rostikol:
So long as the naira value is low and people are poor, police corruption will not end.

Because it is in itself a result of poverty and low pay.

So, waiting for a flawless police force to emerge before investing in Nigeria is the wrong approach in my view.

If the great QUANTUM of Nigeria's 240 million people decide to BUY NIGERIAN, the prosperity generated will overwhelm us, to the point that police corruption would be unnecessary.

That is how powerful this concept is.
You clearly don't know what you are talking about. I'm not sure you have ever run a manufacturing or production business before.

Someone just told us how police corruption affected his business and that's just one out of many other factors. Now all the blame has to be heaped on the poor citizens while you completely absolve the government of all blame. We hear of massive corruption cases everyday and hardly does any of the perpetrators get punished.

As a farmer you face the menace of the state sponsored Fulani herdsmen. Now when people complain, people like you term them lazy. Have you ever opened any thread to talk about government ineptitude and how it's affecting Nigerians?

There's a psychological term for what SmallKoko is going through that I can't for the life of ne remember but has to do with deflection.
He's going through a sort of personality disorder. Maybe he's finding his career and life very difficult at the moment. He's easy to read like an open book. Please we need to take it easy with the man.
Clearly President Tinubu flogging, and I mean seriously flogging, Peter Obi badly at the polls is the main issue.
Many of them have remained shattered since obi won the bronze medal in that election. It puts things into perspective for them.
However SmallKoko feels if he harps on about the civil war and whatever else (like your Dad being a banker), he won't remember that Peter Obi was defeated and he can somehow carry on in his belief that Peter Obi was not soundly slapped by President Tinubu, a slap that reset Peter Obi's brain and sent him back under the rock he and Bigkoko crawled out from.
If I'd known he would go mad I wouldn't have said anything about my background. But he asked what my father was doing when his father was being slapped around during the civil war by Nigerian soldiers. But how could he expect a man with a regular job at SBWA then to enlist in the army? Especially when the SW was not a theatre of war. That was all I said and he went mad. He started shouting "bank chief" like an im.becile. How's being a banker in the late 60s a big deal? His own level of inferiority complex is next to none .
We might have to suffer his delusions for a bit longer on Nairaland till the Rwandan authorities finally do something about him when those delusions eventually manifests themselves in his real physical life.

Meanwhile, it isn't a waste of time to continue verbally lighting him up here.
So he is an economic refugee in Rwanda. If he sells drugs there they'll shoot him like a dog. I'm sure they'll do something about his drugged arse soon. grin

Bye bank chief pikin wey dey drag nairaland with illiterates children!!!!!
grin Indeed that banker's child thing must have really unnerved you. It's called background and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.
It's clear from the way you write and the way I write that you are less educated and far less intelligent.

Naturally I'll ignore idiotic tribalistic animals like you on social media but then the moral compass in me would make it hard for me to look away when you try to bend historical facts just because the outcomes are a bitter pill for you to swallow.

The civil war ended in 1970 with the surrender of ibo army chiefs after Ojukwu ran away like a dog. It's high time you got over it. I'm sure obi losing the election brought back sad memories but the ibos need to grow a big heart like the Yorubas and learn to move on. Yorubas have also lost before. We moved on. So, chiamaka, stop crying and strive to educate your kids better than your dad educated you. Shalom.

If Oshimen's conversion rate was half as high as this guy's own, the media hype would be a boost to his career, but baba Is so careful avoiding injuries that scoring a goal has become a secondary objective, meanwhile the coach is a fantastic tactician and his input is the only reason the eagles qualified at all.
The same coach that was nearly sacked? But he is doing well at afcon, probably trying to save his job.
