nedekid: who is the mumu here? Seems you do not know all men claim the same thing you stated up there. Just as you are "grinding" other people's babes, na so them de grind yah own. Lol.
He's just expressing his imagination. He never see woman pant before.
GistMedia0: A good Nigerian lady found herself in a legal battle after rushing a cleaner, who fainted, to the hospital. The incident unfolded when the lady, a health worker, witnessed the cleaner collapse and immediately took action to get her medical help.
Despite not knowing the cleaner personally, the lady believed it was her duty to assist and swiftly transported her to the hospital. However, upon arrival, the situation took a distressing turn. When asked to provide details for the cleaner's medical folder, she explained she was not acquainted with the patient and therefore couldn't offer the required information.
To her shock, the medical director of the hospital allegedly accused her of assaulting the cleaner. Authorities were called, and the lady was arrested and charged with assault.
Taking to Twitter to share her ordeal, she expressed her disbelief at the situation. She revealed that despite the cleaner now being conscious and refuting any claims of assault, she is still facing legal repercussions.
Bridget95: Things have gotten so bad that I begin to wonder what the president does with the huge amount of dollars Nigeria generate daily from crude oil sales.
What are the governors doing with the increased allocation from the president? This is the time for a serious governor to declare a revolution against hunger in his state, put the money into agriculture, tackle herdsmen wahala like his children have been kidnapped by the herdsmen, get help from foreign agricultural entities and institute a sort of price control and food subsidy. The governors have a lot to do at this difficult time.
Exousiang01: Going through these comments compared to the responses OP would have gotten ifbhe asked this question on reditt gives me goose bumps. Just one person has been able to say something reasonable. I can guarantee you these lame comments came from youths..... The average Nigerian youth has lost all ability to think right and it is Just painful. Seun your Nairaland is becoming less than 2go. I personally spend more time one platforms like Reddit where I am sure people use their brains. It's pitiful
It's tiresome. They joke about everything and often the jokes are stupid. You can't blame them too much. Look at the quality of story books recommended for them from primary school to secondary school - mostly trash. Then look at the music and movies they enjoy. Don't even talk about books, they don't read.
Kukutenla: Sorry pls. How old were you in 2012 during the occupy Nigeria protests? Cause even if you were a teenager then, I expect you'll know how events transpired and you'll agree no president, not even Tinubu will have a choice but to reverse that policy. The nation was grounded!! Totally grounded. Now I've never believed in subsidy removal especially the way our politicians parrot it but the point is if Tinubu knew that subsidy removal was the right thing, why did he instigate opposition to it right from the time of OBJ up to Jonathan's? Secondly, this idea of always blaming past leaders for the misrule of the present is something that needs to be dropped from our national psyche. Politicians have wired Nigeria around that smokescreen such that it becomes an alibi. Tinubu it was who removed subsidy. It was he who floated the naira. Why blame past leaders for his decisions? If you know that you don't have solutions to a problem, you stay away from the responsibility. You can't become president, enjoying all the office offers while blaming past occupants for your inability to perform based on your campaign promises. Buhari used that tactic to spend 8 years. He even told different lies like $16bn power under OBJ and claiming that his govt was getting the least income from oil. Those were lies and his supporters turned it to an anthem. I'm sure he adopted that because he knew his mugu supporters will buy it. If he knew they wouldn't, he will face his job and stop telling stories. I believe it is foolishness to allow politicians to use your head as trashcan to fill their garbage.
I don't even know what you are talking about. There's something called political will. Jonathan lacked the political will to remove the subsidy. There were protests then, if he couldn't stand his ground that was his problem. Was it also Tinubu that asked him to reduce fuel price from #97 to #87 before the 2015 election? Did that look like someone ready to go all the way about subsidy removal? Was it also Tinubu that prevented Jonathan from going after Boko Haram until shortly before elections in 2015? What stops the opposition from going against Tinubu now? Why did many believe in subsidy removal now and not during Jonathan's time?
I didn't join any stupid protest then and I NEVER voted Buhari because it was clear all along that subsidy either had to go or be drastically reduced. So what do you call a president who was stopped from removing subsidy in 2012 only for him to add to the subsidy in 2015 by bringing down fuel price by an additional #10? Some of you argue so blindly.
In addition, it's foolish to not see the impact of prior bad leaders in today's problems. #16bn is a lot of money for a poor country like Nigeria to waste. If it had been judiciously spent I'm sure succeeding governments will not need to be grasping with the problem of power supply. They'd do something else. In all to me they're all the same. If you choose to think one is better than the other because of tribalism, that's your problem, not mine.
Daystar7: Yea wallow in your delusion, all of them was bad, none of them tried to removed the subsidy and was called out as a scam and corrupt. Subsidy at a time wasn't beneficial and today those that staged protest calling it scam removed it carelessly with no plan at a worse time but they are the good ones while the former were all bad. Which of them sold fuel for #200? Even when subsidy was removed by Jonathan it was #145 but it was a scam and they were all bad. Pls don't associate ur unfortunate self with me with ur let's see jargons. Y'all are ruining this country with ur ethnoreligious bigotry. Tinubu and Buhari didn't know subsidy removal was good at that time and the proceeds could have been used for all u listed baa. You people are wicked and as families are going through difficulties, God 'll make ur children and children's children go through unexplainable turmoil and plagues. Vipers! Bloody hypocrites
You are the unfortunate one, snake If Jonathan knew the subsidy had to go, what stopped him from removing it? Oh I forgot, Tinubu and Buhari frightened him from doing the right thing, you idiot .
Did you see me mention Tinubu in any good light in my write up or your eyes have been messed up by glaucoma?
You and your children and your generation are the ones suffering and would continue to suffer. If you were not suffering you wouldn't be baying like a donkey here. I didn't know I was talking to a stupid animal
Daystar7: Chai, illiteracy is bad. So you blaming OBJ for Buhari and Tinubu failure now huh? How much was Pms during his time? And did Nigeria experience hunger and starvation or this level of hardship during his tenure? He wasn't excellent but he's one of the best if not the best civilian president Nigeria has ever gotten. Operation feed the nation was his initiative, he's the reason u buy cheap data today to constitute nuisance on here to defend rubbish and he handed over the government to a capable hands in Yaradua who despite being a Fulani man was excellent but unfortunately death took him away and Jonathan in all his albeit lazy approach has proven to be far better than both Buhari and Tinubu combined. Jonathan removed fuel subsidy and Tinubu claimed it was scam, went into a wicked alliance with Buhari to bundle him out only to ruin the country. Who's karma dealing with? Tinubu or a retired baba that's just trying to give one or two O.T to the empty heads u support. Waste of space
All those leaders you mentioned created the problems Nigeria is facing today. There is no better one among all of them. They were borrowing money to pay subsidies and support the naira instead of working on building infrastructure, improving power supply, education and building an environment that can foster manufacturing and exportation.
They wasted our resources. You were buying Petrol at #200 you thought they loved you. They destroyed Nigeria's future. Let's see if this one there will be any better.
SoNature: I read all the comments from the beginning up to mine and there was nothing reasonable in them.
I expected to see someone who would analyse the the Zimbabwean currency performance or economic policy and why Obj's advice is a good or bad idea!
What do Nigerians learn in school?
What's stopping you from doing that? Analyse the performance of Zimbabwe's economy and show us how obj's idea is good or bad . You just joined those who you condemned.
Tellmeastory: Where do you live that you “go for weeks without power”, you liar?
I didn't insult you. I stated what goes on in my district in Ibadan truthfully. Calling me a liar when you don't have access to a contrary information concerning what I said shows you off as childish and quite unworthy.
Tellmeastory: What I detest is the way you people always exaggerate whatever problem it is, to make it ten times worse, because you’re sick people.
To be frank it's even worse than I stated it. The last time I bought power units was December and it was #1000!!! I use a freezer and a washing machine at home and I've not exhausted the units. That tells you how bad it is.
Tellmeastory: As for Indonesia, they are not way ahead of Nigeria. Their GDP per capita is $4,300 and Nigeria’s is $2,300.
So a GDP per Capita of $4300 is not way ahead of a GDP per Capita of $2300? For a country with a bigger population than Nigeria. I thought you were using population as an excuse. Some of you can be so impossible.
Tellmeastory: Indonesia got independence in 1945, and are 87% Sunni Muslim, so less friction in society unlike Naija.
So what? It only proves Nigeria has problems which have made it hard to govern. Hence it's poor state. Nigeria is not doing well. Simple. Only idiots look for excuses to wave away their shortcomings. So because Indonesia became independent only 15 years before Nigeria and because they're majorly Muslims is the reason Nigeria should be far behind. If everyone has this your defeatist mentality, then we will all believe Nigeria can not be saved.
If what you are using for Indonesia's growth is the fact that it got independence in 1945, then factor in the fact that Nigeria is not only an oil giant but also a gas giant.
NorthernAgender: You southern got land to farm yet you refused to go farm waiting for we to supply you food. Let me tell you I got bad news for you kano and other northern states has stop trailers bringing food to your region.
There is going to be famine in your region.
People farm here too. The garri, chicken, palm oil, eggs, vegetables we eat here are all produced by us. The few items we get from you are onions, beans, and what else?
It will be better if you stopped sending food here. It will only push us to start producing those items we get from you. It will also force us to be decisive about the herdsmen situation. We will survive without you.
China’s power crisis: Long-term goals meet short-term realities
''Power outages in China were widely expected this year after the country experienced some rationing in December 2020 and then again over the summer. In early September a handful of localities were seeing shortages, but by October over 20 Chinese provinces were curbing or rationing power supplies, not only for industrial, but also residential users, a rare occurrence for a country aiming to prioritise household energy supply.''
Even 35 years ago china's power crisis could never be as bad as Nigeria's power crisis today. China then could be at Nigeria's level then in terms of power crisis. But did you know that Nigeria's power problem has gotten worse since then?
Since December the #1000 worth of units I bought has not being exhausted, for you to know how bad the situation is. For weeks we go without power, in the same area where we used to have at least 12 hours per day on average.
Also, don't forget the fact that this is an energy rich country. No matter who you compare us to, that fact alone should tell you that something is terribly wrong with Nigeria. If someone like you becomes the president you are not going to do anything about Nigeria's case. You would find succour in the belief that other countries are also suffering.
Nigeria's population is not bigger than Indonesia's own but their situation is not as bad as this. Do away with this kind of cold comfort.
tollyboy5: God bless you bro. You most of us faced the problem of lack of planning from our parents. Whether poor or rich planning is required. Though we're only two but my parent did not plan at all. They were just living. I have been a natural realistic person from my childhood so my common sense already told me the reality of things. When my secondary school had to change to a more affordable sch I still do my best.
The op parent acted foolishly to build a false impression in his head and wasting money to put him in a better School. The Op parent could not call him to order so he'll know the present situation of the family and work towards building a stronger family. The op refused to know that he's now on his own and the world is not a deligent market were you have to be honest. The best math student before my Seth in secondary school, when I was doing my IT I saw him working as a conductor. Parent should be sincere to their children to reduce the shock of disappointment from unrealistic expectations.
Now the op life is in his hand. I have friends that train themselves to school.
If your parents see you up to the end of secondary school, they've already done a bit for you in terms of planning. By 18 your life is in your hands.
bigpriik: Me wey no get shishi if i get just 200k for account like this my skin will just change looking fresh and robust, even in this harsh economy you will still see poor Nigerians still looking good and fresh, you will not know they are going through a lot until they open up to you.but you see naija politicians they are always looking black, unkempt and ugly despite stacking up trillions of naira, they see money makes ugly people fine what about Tinubu and oshiomole and others very ugly and unkempt set of people, see fashola, sanwolu, hope uzordinma, shettima, bwala ,wike they dont look like they have money ,they look like an average aboki shoemaker even my grandfather in the village looks fresher, wgy do our politicians look unkempt and ugly .
maasoap: And are the Yoruba and Hausa people holding you guys from SS and SE down not to let hell loose or u guys no get liver? When Yorubas and Hausas were protesting against GEJ, did you guys join them? No be d insults u were raining on them, saying that they wanted handouts from the government?
Don't mind him. He's speaking from both sides of his mouth.
Christian36: Story, that is eye service protest. What have your eye service protest stop? Has the protest change the price of garri or rice? We all saw the way you guys protested during gej. My happiness is that you guys are reaping what you sow
Story. If you still believe in politicians after all you've seen in Nigeria and Africa, and thinking one other useless politician would have done better than the other, I'm sorry for you.
Tochi360: Self determination is a legally recognized right.
BTW is it legal under the Nigerian law for a group of drugged up niggas to drag, beat up and burn a young lady alive simply bcus she was ACCUSED of insulting a prophet Muhammad?? They fimed the show of shame live for the World to see yet NO JUSTICE. They are covered by Sharia law. Law inside Law.
Make We continue to dey decieve ourselves
Can people gather and burn a lady for insulting or cursing, Jesus Christ,Ifa,Sango, Amadioha??. Why should Mohammed's own be different?
The self deciet is so disgusting
This beans wey We dey cook,if e finally dun na all of us go sit down gather carry spoon chop am
Amumaigwe: This is a typical scenerio in SW and North. With every modesty, we don't really feel that extreme hardship as you painted in the East. So I cannot relate with your experience.
About the protesters with posters with inscriptions like "end hunger and poverty", it is just laughable. It confirms that most Nigerians don't really know the source of their poverty. If they knew, those inscriptions on their placards would have been different.
Christian36: Assuming the president was from south south or south east and this thing is happening, Yoruba people and Hausa people would have let loose hell on the president and his people to the point of harming those set of people, now it is their person incharge and they are doing as if it is a normal thing for people to be subjected to hardship. We all know what they did to gej, history will never be kind to whosoever was against gej but now pretending as if nothing is wrong. This has made me realized that the people of south south and southeast are the most accommodating zone in Nigeria. Yoruba people or Hausa people will never endure this assuming the president was from east or south south.
But the Yorubas are the ones talking the loudest against Tinubu, their son.
There have been protests in Ibadan and Ekiti, even Lagos. But whenever they talk the others(Ibos especially) will laugh at them and call them Ebinpawa. SEBI there's no hunger in SE and SW.
iichidodo: The soup has gone bad and has started decomposition albeit in an unpalatable state...The main culprits are the flesh components of the soup, chuck them out...Then buy fresh fish or meat, parboil them and sautee them before adding the whole package into the soup to bring back that aroma and flavor... You're welcome.
obaidan: KWAM 1 come still get sense pass that RCCG Pastor and his wife
You go know say na the pastor's wife dey control am. E fit be say the pastor sef no support wetin the wife do but most of these highly educated men are weak.
