Banking is not even an high paying career in developed countries except you start off at an investment banker. Good luck getting that investment banking job without an MBA from an ivy league university A programmer can earn that as a starter. Remember, he has the experience already so hes not an entry level candidate but an experienced one. |

seankafor: Lol, does Nigeria spend dollar? If he makes let's say 5k$ over there, he won't be any different from someone making 500k here because over there he I'll still spend in $ not naira.. unless he is talking about serene environment which also comes with its own downside like racism and stuffs.
For me 500k# here over 5k$ there anyday anytime You haven't experienced the other world, why wont you say that? 5k$ to 500k? You must be joking |

Friedpotato: I saw #8750 for 42GB Glo. That's an average of 1.4GB per day. - I won't be receiving classes everyday - I intend to use my phone for zoom which would minimize data instead of if I'm using laptop - My classes are 1 or 2 a day, rarely 3.
So I think it'll be enough or if more than that, small. Can I tell you that even if you dont receive classes everyday, you may have to use the internet everyday. From assignment to writing papers. I use over 80gb monthly on my phone, this includes instagram, twitter and other SM tho. I tried tracking the data I use on my PC and it was up to 150gb in a month, although, this includes personal development and LinkedIn Learning platform. Classes will not be the only thing you do with the internet. You must be ready to subscribe atleast a hundred GB in a month. Please carefully select your network provider according to your location. Do not go for the cheapest but the best. Weekly assignments and quizes contribute greatly to your final grade and 1 or 2 weeks can hurt your grade so badly. Remember, over 90 percent is A. My school's A grade starts from 94percent. |

It is better to know what's on ground and the reality so that you can plan adequately than being hopeful where there is no way. Even Current students dont know the direction Fall 2020 will go talk more of visa applicants. |

Cocao: You are making sense. I understand. But nobody needs to hear the epistle you just wrote. People on this thread want hope, even a ray of it will make their day. Most of what you typed could be true, but right now, nobody wants to hear that. It is not your job to give anyone the reality on ground, believe me, they know this reality. But reality has never stopped anyone from hoping or having more faith. There is a time for everything and Sir, kindly note that now is not the time for what you typed. You mean we can fabricate information and mislead people as long as it gives hope Lol |

Schrodinger1: To all and sundry, before you quote any Poster, Pls, I charge you to read and assimilate the previous comments leading to the most recent that has been made by those you intend to hurriedly "correct". This will preclude you from misinforming and sounding bombastic to others.
I say this because the way some self-acclaimed savvy people here jump on comments without understanding the issue at hand is more than alarming.
Its obvious you did not follow the "chain of discussion" before you made your penultimate post, I initially thought you did otherwise.
Yes, its quite rare but ULL needs a notarized SOA for the issuance of I-20 if there's any deficit (irrespective of the sponsor). This matter has been settled before now and those involved were well inundated. If that ULL is the university of Louisiana at Lafayette. Then this claim might not be true. I had an admit with the same school 2 years ago. Again, not everyone knows that schools ask for authentication atleast for the 4years I've been reading and been into the process myself, I've not seen or read about that. So, you shouldn't find it offensive when people try to correct your misinformation. |

Geewin69: What does my getting a visa have to do with this?
You're missing the point bros.
Is discussing the GRE wrong? Absolutely not. This is the issue I had: Some folks began to bicker over the GRE, and at a point they obviously became so overwhelmed by the desire to prove the superiority of their opinions. But to what end? It took up 3 pages of unnecessary arguments! Now, should that be done on a public forum? That's the issue I'm tackling bro. Of course the GRE is essential, and schools/departments only temporarily suspended it due to covid. But people come here everyday hoping to hear about a new development regarding schools, visas, etc, not some prolonged personal arguments.
As a reminder, the name of the thread is 'General USA Student Visa Enquiries' sir.
And I pray the same prayers for you too. You will come back to realise these discussions are necessary. Justwise knows when it is enough and getting too much. But Man, let's keep riding for the Visa, I'm also looking for H1B. |

Geewin69: SMH for you bro. You think your few admissions during this period of the Pandemic means schools will not go back to asking for GRE? my prayer for you is to get your Visa before the pandemic is over or you will have to go back and write the GRE and hopefully will not be required to provide vaccine evidence against the virus. Thats when you will know why these discussions are necessary. |

SOA needs authentication for I-20 collection. Really?? That might be specific for your school?? what school is that? |

Geewin69: What is this one saying?
How relevant is your information about GRE in an era where many schools have waived GRE?
You're clearly out of point sir. Much learning maketh thee mad. Schools don't waive GRE, department does. GRE is still required if you want to apply to schools and have variety of choices to choose from. Again, if you don't want people todiscuss GRE or SAT,you can stop visiting the thread because that's the purpose of this Thread. |

Geewin69: Can you guys please cut the crap about standardized tests and transcripts?
That's how some started ranting about GRE and covered 3 pages!
What do you people even gain from these pointless rants?
Leave trash for LAWMA biko. Wait!!! So what do you want to be discussing on the thread if not GRE, SAT and all others relating to admissions If you cant contribute anything whatsoever, you can just face front and focus on whatever you are here for. Afterall, there is a moderator and he he hasn't said anything about these conversations. |

Ifesinachi22: Australia, New Zealand, Canada and US are the same and different from the rest of the world. I've made an extensive research about this. A medical student graduate from these 4 countries can always apply for licensure exams, pass and you are immediately licensed to practice if you graduated from any of the 4 countries and wish to work in any of the other 3.
Canada to US or US to Canada Route,
Australia to New Zealand and New Zealand to Australia Route, are always straightforward.
You can still switch routes too.
I'm a medical student too. And most of the Canadian schools i checked will always say, their graduates can get licence to practice in any of the remaining 3. While US to Canada is very easy, Canada to USA is not as easy as you would think. |

Paragontek: Someone said his professor withdrew his funding, I think due to his inability to start this fall as a result of COVID-19. Is it possible that funded student who were supposed to start this fall but could not as a result of embassy not opening for visa, may lose their funding? That will differ from school to school and sometimes profile of the funded student. If you have funding and cant report to school in August, just talk to your graduate coordinator and see if they can defer your funding till the spring semester of 2021. |

Access time O(1) Learning different data structures actually. I wrote one that uses List but still quadratic. Because using nested list, I have to iterate over each list of the both Matrices. One advantage of using the Array or the LinkedList is the memory since List creates double of storage being used. What I read tho. |

Sorted list + binary search I used the Binary search to insert an element into the right position in the list. So the 0(.) Is just Logn.
