Dear NL, I bought a HP new laptop about a week ago, window 10 operating environment, I usually connect with wireless spark 3 Techno, but I discovered that within a few minutes whatever bundles of data package I load will soon go away. I was faced with this problem when I installed windows 10 late last year.

I did airtel night sub and with about 2 minutes of putting on my hotspot I received a message that my plan has been exhausted.

Windows 10 is a beast when it comes to data consumption. Fortunately it can be tamed.

First of all, download Netlimiter. Netlimiter is an application that allows you to select the apps that you want to access your internet connection.

It will show you all the current apps zapping your connection and you can choose to block their access totally, limit their speed size or give them data quota which upon exhaustion, they will stop connecting to the internet.

Go to getintopc.com to download the crack version of netlimiter. Please don't forget to download the video on how to install it from the website.

If you have any problems share the screenshot and I'll help you.

Also set your data to metered network. Windows 10 will not download updates on metered network.
