Social Media is a double edged sword. Like all inventions It has its Pros and Cons too.

Pros:
-It has literally brought the world to our finger-tips, giving us access to worlds, people and opportunities we would probably not have had access to. It expands our knowledge horizon as a portal to online libraries and information bank.
It gives access also to news and videos testifying of the ways God is manifesting Himself all over the world in miracles, healings, etc. These help consolidate a shaking faith or supersaturate a rock-solid faith. For all the devil always tries to do is attack our Faith in God.
-It helps the Body of Christ across various denominations connect and fellowship better as One across various WhatsApp and other group chat fora.
-It gives access to a wide range of messages, songs, testimonies, etc that hitherto were not easily accessible.
-It certainly confirms the verse which says the Spirit is One, and what He says to One, He says to all. Presently it's amazing how there's a general theme of Repentance and Revival of the Holyspirit being preached in the Body of Christ all over the world.

Cons-
-It has become an Idol to many believers who now give social media more priority over God, over church and over things that edify the spirit. The just concluded World Cup was a test, and people clearly showed where their Hearts and Loyalty were.
-It is a major distraction. Most believers' prayer lives have either dwindled or been rendered impotent because they have flooded themselves with an avalanche of social media activities that have taken the place of their private time with God.
-Exposure to diverse Anti-Christ messages, videos, pictures, etc that have not only sown the seeds of doubt and fear in the hearts of believers but have also swept across the church, locally and globally.
Unfortunately, fear and unbelief limit the manifestation of God's glory as people begin to lose faith.
-It has caused a lot of health damage and accidents. It's no news that a lot of eyes have been damaged by constantly staying on the phone. There's also been a lot of lives lost to accidents due to use of phone on the road either as a driver or pedestrian.
A lot of several medical conditions are also inherent; ADHD, Restlessness, Insomnia, Attention Seeking Syndrome, (if there's anything like that), etc to mention just few.
-It is dangerous for kids and babes in faith.
-It exposes believers to sin and guilt in diverse ways, sexual sins, judgemental sins, sins of attacking prophets and men of God. Sins that If care is not taken can become obstacles to our prayers.
-It has made our eyes not single. We care about too many things that shouldn't even be on our mind due to over exposure on SM.

May we receive divine intelligence, discernment and faith to know how to navigate the Internet and Social media appropriately and in moderation that it does not become an idol to us, it does not ensnare us and cause us to sin, in Jesus name. Amen

It's sad we now despise our only weapon, Prayer.
We seem to have lost faith is prayer, in God.
Me believe our success is about how much we know, how hard we work and the connections we have, the calibre of people we know. We believe our success is in our own hands.

Can we be blamed though?
But who is to blame?

Of a truth, we despise prayers because we pray and do not see result, because we pray amiss. But Prayer is not the problem, neither is God. But we have not learnt How To Pray. Yet, He sent us the Holyspirit to help our infirmities, still we do not believe in the Holyspirit.

Romans 8.26 - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Christ taught us how to pray. The Lord's Prayer is the manner in which God the Son, taught us to pray. But some of us think it is too basic, too elementary. We believe we are no longer babes, now we can pray better than our Lord. God forbid.

Let us examine the Lord's Prayer:
Is it a Selfish prayer?
Is it about our individual needs and wants?
Is it about praying for the striking down or death of any family member, neighbour or colleague?
The answer is No.

God is not a Selfish God. In fact, God despises selfishness. But most of our prayers are selfish.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. James 4:3

God wants us to show His likeness in our prayers. To show that our concern is for His Kingdom, for His people, for His will.

When we pray, let us pray for all.
We are not only included in ALL, we are blessed exceedingly abundantly beyond our expectations and imaginations because God knows what we need and want, even more than we ever could. And He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

You should be very excited by this promise, as I am. It is our Season of Celebrations and Gladness. Let's always come to His presence with Thanksgiving because of What He has done for us (Grace, Our Salvation, Justification, Liberty, Deliverance, Transformation, Santification, Victory, Wisdom) What He is doing for us (Abundant and All sufficient Grace to partake in His Divine Inheritance through Communion with the HolySpirit manifesting in Unspeakable Joy and Peace, as well as Enablement and Empowerment) and What He will do for us (More Grace, Manifestations of His Glory and privilege of His Workmanship to the fulfillment of His purpose and Will that His Kingdom will reign on earth as it is in Heaven and the Assurance and Promise of Heaven)

How do you know your prayer has been aswered?
Christ also taught how to pray in faith and forgiveness.

We receive because we believe, because it is not a religious activity to us but an assurance made to us by Jesus Christ, our Lord amd Saviour. And our spirit bears us witness through an inexpressible joy and peace.

A saint is someone who believe in Jesus Christ. God is the One responsible for his sainthood.

Of a truth, all Christians are saints. But not all believers are Christians.
Not everyone who believes Jesus is Lord is a Christian/saint. One who believes is only just Born again. But must undergo Discipleship to carry the Cross of Christ. That is one who is now yoked to Christ. This learning of Christ by the Holyspirit could take up to 3 years to complete the transformation into a Christian or Saint. At this stage you become like Christ in Nature, Power and Autority. Provided you have completely yoked yourself to Christ.

It may sound difficult or even impossible to the flesh. But remember, with Christ, all things are possible.

May the Holyspirit give us more understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

We are but Vessels.
The important question is Who are you yielding your vessel to?
Who is programming your soul?
God or the devil?

We have been exposed to so much wrong informations and programming since birth. The world around us always seeks to conform us against God's will. Hence we have been programmed with a lot of wrong knowledge, wrong associations (family, friends, colleagues, online contacts), fears, curses, principles, way of doing things, hearsays, religious doctrines, music and movies etc that over the years have come to define who we are or who we have accepted ourselves to be.

The most glorious day in a person's life is the day of their Salvation. The day you become born again is the day you're completely delivered from all these wrong programming.

The next step in the life of a Born again is the Renewal of his mind/soul. This is a deliberate and intentional decision and action. You have to expose your vessel to his owner, our Lord Jesus Christ. This can only be achieved by you yielding yourself to the Holyspirit. He will help you by replacing all the wrong messages with the Word of God. Also by replacing all secular music with Gospel worship songs.

Perhaps the most significant step in renewing the soul is by becoming sensitive to what you hear, think and say.

Proverbs 4:23 "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life."

Luke 6:45 "The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks."

Our greatest weapon is the Word of God. By it we destroy all wrong programmings in our lives and overcome sin. It gives us counsel and wisdom to make the right decisions and overcome challenges. It empowers us to do God's will and apply ourselves to our calling of God's workmanship. It empowers us to destroy the kingdom of darkness and live victorious and prosperous lives through Christ in us who strengthens us.

I Have been dating him for almost 2 years now and i am looking forward to marrying him but his temper has always been too much.
He easily get annoyed over little things.

There are lot of factors that impedes Sustainable Development in Nigeria but today’s focus is on ignorant things Nigerians do that hinders development in Nigeria.

1. Entitlement Mentality

A good number of Nigerians feel entitled to certain things without working hard for them. It is amusing when trying to develop a community buying setting up a business venture or developing properties, you still get to settle youths and some groups in the community simply because they are INDIGENES and you have to pay homage to them. Likewise some fans who beg celebrities for money and other goodies; when they (fans) don’t get the desired attention, they resort to insults and curses. How can we grow as a nation when people are not willing to work hard but are ready to interrupt other’s progress?


2. Voting Leaders Due To Petty Reasons:

“Awwn! He comes from a humble background.” “Let’s vote her, she is the first woman to ever contest for this position.” “He schooled in Harvard.” “This man is from my community”. “Let’s vote him, it is high time we had an Igbo President.” “He is the youngest candidate” “The man is so cute”. Aspiring leaders should be voted based on their Strong and Impactful Leadership Profile; their Positive Impact on the Common Man; and their contribution to Sustainable Development/Humanity in Nigeria.


3. Contributing To Underdevelopment:

I know the government have much influence in Nigeria’s development but citizens also have a role to play. Example – We complain of flood, but it is citizens who block drainages with dirts thrown indiscriminately on the streets. Government don’t want to provide jobs but you are reluctant to develop yourself with the right skills to become a ‘hot cake’ in the labour market.


4. Violating Rules And Regulations:

Most Nigerians find it difficult to obey rules and regulations except when a heavy penalty is attached to it. If we find it hard to obey simple traffic rules, how then do you think Nigeria can achieve that desired growth when her citizens can’t even follow simple order without a penalty attached to it?


5. Attaching RELIGION To Everything:

It is saddening to hear that we have more religious centres than industries in Nigeria. Many shout ‘AMEN’ to prophetic declaration without working for such prophecies to come to pass. We have become extremist of our religion, thus, preventing our brains to work and allowing our religious sentiments to inform our decisions. God has a reason He gave man a brain. If we keep praying without working, we’ll keep on complaining and development in Nigeria will continually regress.


6. Converting Serious Issues To Jokes:

I know jokes are good to lighten up a sad/negative mood but too much of everything is bad. It’s high time we reduced the rate we create jokes/memes about sensitive issues and corrupt practices on social media. Let us take advantage of social media in exposing and condemning silly acts of the government as well as advocating for economic growth and better living condition. The way we react to sensitive issues in Nigeria determines and influences the way our leaders rule us.


If we fail to heed to the aforementioned points, development in Nigeria will continue to be in regress mode.

More wisdom sir. The last point jokes is really a subtle but major problem. When we fail to acknowledge our discomfort by assuaging our sufferings with the covering of jokes, it limits our determination to rise above our problems.

Right from 1960 we gained Independence, it has been one bad administration after the other. We seem to be trading bad people for worse ones everytime. Nobody, no president, no activist can solve the problem of Nigeria. It is a collective responsibility that only Jesus can help us achieve.

So many of us cast all hopes on Buhari during the last elections, yet he's proven to be inept too. In fact he's religious and tribalistic bigotry has cost us more deaths and ill luck.

The solution is to turn to God individually and as a nation. Can we as civilians check ourselves and score ourselves good? Are we doing the right things expected of us? Not some times but at all times.
How many of us today drove against traffic ploughing one way to manouvre our way?
How many are cheating in our relationships, against our spouses?
How many are plotting another's downfall at our offices or places of business? How many can call ourselves Loyal or honest? How many understand the word Integrity?
How many are into shady businesses that we can't tell those that are close to us? How many even still understand thd word Shame?

Yet, we're thd same people that judge the politicians when it's certain we will do worse given the same opportunity.

Truly to change Nigeria, it begins with You and I.
We need to turn to God and pray for repentance.
I know how evil I was just last year and I know how much transformation Jesus Christ has done in my life, in my family in less than a year.
I am so certain it was not a fluke with me. If He could do it for me, by all means, He can do it foe everyone. He can't wait to transform us individually and as a nation. Trust me, if it saddens us, mere men to watch Nigeria self-destructing like this, how much more does it sadden our Creator?

Please repent. Please choose Life. Please Choose Success over Failure. Choose to follow JesusChrist today, for your own sake, for the sake of your family (trust me so much is happening you cannot exolain) and for the sake of Nigeria.

THE VISION
God created Man for a purpose. To worship Him and complete His work on earth. (Gen 1:26)
Every individual was created with their unique set of secret codes. Embedded deeper in these secret codes is Your Vision. Only God, your Creator knows your vision. Your parents can't, your mentors can't, your spouse can't, your friends can't, no text book can, even google can't. At best if you're lucky, they can only lean you in it's direction.

Your Vision is so sensitive and personal that God will only reveal it to you when you are ready for it. When you are One with Him again, as He originally created you.
This is why we all have to come to a place of personal encounter with God.
Because only in this realm of Oneness in the Holyspirit can we become One with Christ, our God.

THE PROVISION
In this realm, all the condemnation and curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68) on the sinful unsaved man have become completely washed away (John 3:6&16) and Behold all things are become new. (2 Cor 5:17)
We are fruitful, we multiply, we fill and subdue the earth, we have dominion over every creature no matter how gigantic and ferocious or cute.
In fact God, the owner of all of heaven and earth, has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches. Phil 4:19.

THE COMMITMENT
Now our God is a God of Principles and Laws. There are Keys to His Kingdom. God is Love and Love is Charity. An integral part of Charity is in a Life of Giving. Live in a consciousness of giving- To God first (in the church) and any other way you can. Malachi 3:10

How does one comfort another at a time like this? Do you think there's anything you can say or do to take their pain away?
Is there even an explanation for such tragic occurences? You start to ask questions like God, Is this fair? Why did God allow this to happen?
Most times we end up accepting that there are circumstances beyond our control. So we console ourselves with statements like God gives, God takes. God knows best, etc
Though It does not provide explanation, it does not take away the pain but at least it comforts us temporarily, it helps us get by.

But do you really believe God wants evil to happen to us?
The answer is obviously No. He is the opposite of evil, so He can not do or even want evil to happen to us.
But does He allow evil to happen? And if yes, Why?
That is the ultimate question.

Of course we all know all evil comes from the enemy of Man, the accuser of mankind, Satan.
When things like this happen, let us please try so hard not to blame God, but let us recognise that the devil has done this.
Why does God allow the evil of satan? I always wondered too. Why couldn't God just stop Eve from eating from the tree? Why did He allow Adam and Eve to fall? And mankind to continue to suffer and toil ever since?
We can make a long list of situations when God could easily have prevented evil from happening but he didn't. Why?

The truth is God has given us the sole responsibilty to overcome all evil. God denied Himself the legal right to interfere on earth because He has placed all power and dominion and authority in our hands. We are to continue His work. We are to be like God on earth.

At a time like this, please resist the thoughts of trying to blame God but rather channel that energy to stay focused. Channel all that energy to destroy the works of the enemy, to destroy satan. Channel it to understand what the enemy is trying to achieve with this tragic experience.
Is it not to attack and test our faith? To make us lose our precious faith in God. So I urge us all to Channel that energy to know How to destroy our common enemy, the enemy of mankind, satan and his kingdom of darkness and evil.

I pray for God's Grace, wisdom, faith, strength, comfort, peace and even joy to understand His thoughts and His purpose for our lives individually and as a Body of Christ against the kingdom of the enemy.
I also pray that we will overcome all the plans, schemes and works of satan in Jesus name. We will not mourn but celebrate the Goodness of God in Jesus name. Amen.

Rom.8.38 - 39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let us keep our eyes and focus on the Cross of Christ. Let us pray to be transformed into worthy disciples of Christ, empowered to make disciples of nations as is the will of God.

The purpose of the law was never to justify, make righteous nor make holy. The Law was made to make sin known (Gal 3v19). It was made for you and I to know how grievous are the sins we commit. It purpose was for you to realize how helpless you're to make yourself holy by observing them and to make you realize the need for a Saviour (Gal 3v24-27). But the problem has always been that, some christians do not understand this and they try leaving sin but keep falling. Until you realized how helpless you're in forsaking all sins (because keeping one and forsaking others is being guilty of all (Gal 3v10), you'll never see the need for a Saviour. Morever, the law (working your own righteousness by your own efforts) is a shadow of the good things to come, the REAL thing is CHRIST (Heb 10v1). Christ Sacrifice is the Ultimate! Ezekiel 36:26-27 aptly shows us the work of Christ in us. The seed of sin was uprooted and the seed of righteousness was planted in us.
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them."

Truth be told I was at first swayed by Freeze, but eventually he couldn't hide his fruit for long. By their fruit you shall know them.

Now regarding this lady Kemi Olunloyo, it's sad to watch her renounce Christ. Truth is she's been victimised by religion.
I try not to attack churches but I must say the enemy has infiltrated some church so deeply that it is in some churches that you will find true demons. I won't say more.

I wish she would rather not give up on Christ, eventhough she's given up on church. I pray most of all that God orders her steps into His Presence that she may find true peace and rest, that she may find answers to all her questions, that she may find solution to all her problems. Most importantly that she may become a worthy disciple making disciples of nations as willed by Christ.

May God's abundant Grace be sufficient for her and for us all in Jesus name. Amen.

Is it right and safe to reveal the fact that you are an atheist especially if you are student on campus or looking for job? I feel that as a student, staffs in the university might want to put you in a difficult position(reduce your mark, increase your carry overs or extend the duration of your post graduate programme) so that you can be frustrated and "see that without god, you can't be anything in life". During job interviews, it seems that selection is influenced by religious bias ie. A religious boss favours a religious candidate.

General it seems when you are atheist and outspoken about it and you are doing well in life, religious people that you are better than (especially those who are destitute and can only dream of what you have) seem to want you downfall or would try to bring your downfall - - - - all to prove life would be hard without god.

So is it right to reveal your atheism when you are a student on campus or when you have a religious supervisor in your doctorate programme ? Is it right when job hunting? In fact when and in what scenario should one keep a low profile about one's atheism?

Truth is, it's all in your head. No one really cares what you believe or don't believe as long as you don't let it interfere with your responsibility at work or school. What they really care is Can You Deliver? Can You Get The Job Done? Can You Be A Model Student Showing Diligence and Humility? Just don't go around trying to fight the system or shove your (ir)religion down people's throats.

But that said, I was once an atheist and initially used to conceal my atheism until eventually I became bold enough to express my beliefs (principles) and lack of (God).
You should see the look on people's faces they realised I didn't believe in God. They were amazed that any one could really say there's no God and be normal. They were shocked to be in the presence of a live atheist, most of them had only read about atheism or watched it in movies.

The most likely reaction you will get instead of victimisation is Concern. Every one would want to evangelise to you, to "help" you cos they would genuinely believe there's something wrong somewhere.
While you will genuinely believe there's something wrong with them instead cos How Can People Believe so Passionately what and who they do not see?

Now the crux of my epistle is, I've been there. You know what I found? Whether or not I believed in God or devil didn't stop their operation. I argued vehemently against charms as only real in Nollywood movies. Little did I know my family was actually a victim.
After Grace found me and ordered my steps to Christ, I found salvation and liberty. Much later I found Deliverance and Transformation. Those are my testimonies.

The testimony of deliverance came after my dad uncovered a buried charm deep beneath the foundation of our house. Bro, You do not believe in God or devil because you're yet to see the things that are happening around you. I pray it won't be late when you do. I pray Grace finds you, I pray it brings you to the knowledge of all truths. I pray you find answers to your questions and Solution to any and all your problems.
