What does He mean to Us?
How does He operate?
Why do we need Him?

These are some of the questions I hope we will understand better by the end of this message.

The Holyspirit is the 3rd personality in the Trinity of God.
He is the active force of God. He hovered over the earth, before creation came to being.
In the old testament, He rested upon ordinary men and they performed extra-ordinary things. On the Prophets, Moses, Samson, Daniel, David, etc whenever God wanted to deliver His people he chose some one or a group of people and whenever the Spirit of the Lord rested upon him or them they became super men. They could become 10 times better than their counterparts, or Single-handedly kill Lions and Goliaths or Walk through Fire or Split Red Sea. They simply made impossible possible.

The prophecy of the Holyspirit the way He is manifesting in our time today was declared in Joel 2:28

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:"

This prophesy came to pass on the day of Pentecost. We are in the Holyspirit Dimension.
This does not diminish or counteract the Father or the Son, but through the Holyspirit, they are witnessed and glorified, because they are One.

I received a revelation regarding
Proverbs 4:7-9. God's Wisdom is Jesus, and His understanding is the Holyspirit. With this understanding now read;

7. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

The emphasis, Get wisdom. This is a one off thing. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you have gotten wisdom. But now it continues to say With all thy getting get understanding. This is a continuous process. Let me translate, it means keep yielding to the Holyspirit for more understanding. To know God's mind, His thoughts, His nature, His Vision, His plans. Just keep yielding to the Holyspirit and you will receive His revelations.

What are God's revelations? They are manifestations of the Spirit. The 9 gifts of the Spirit.
Gift of Wisdom, Knowledge, Discernment of spirits, Faith, Healing, Working of Miracles, Divers tongues, Interpretation of Tongues, Prophecy.
Also the Fruit of the Spirit which refers to God's nature: Patience, Love, Mercy, Gentleness, Peace, Joy, etc.

Now, there is something very important that Jesus told His disciples after he ressurrected. After the Resurrection, Jesus had been Glorified. He had Conquered Earth, Death and Hell. He has experienced all it means to be a Man and He's returned to His God-status.
He knows our limitations, our inclinations. Our weakness and Temptations. And he realised no man can be righteous, we can't even understand His purpose, we can't hear Him. He knows we will still perish by ourselves. Then He told His disciples the only solution. They needed the Holyspirit. Because without Him, they were weak.

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

John.16.12 - "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. [NKJV]
John.16.13 - However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. [NKJV

Now the disciples, strong followers of Jesus Christ, the most loyal men as far as loyalty is concerned. They had heard it all the Hard Truths, yet they stayed. They had denied their lives, families and jobs and dedicated their lives following Christ all over Palestine. But you know what happened even after all their experience in the presence of God? They had little or no faith. They had little or no understanding of the things he was telling them. They had little or no boldness. They couldn't even perform miracles except when Jesus gave them some authority to do so. To make matters worse, the moment Jesus was arrested they all disappeared and even denied ever knowing Him, out of fear. But can you blame them? Jesus understood so He never judged them. They lacked the Holyspirit.

I needed to stress this because we have so many Chrstians who have been in the church (Presence of Christ) following Him for years but never received the Holyspirit.

Now what did the Holyspirit do in the lives of the Disciples?
He Empowered them for ministry.

Peter who denied Jesus before a maiden and few soldiers, started to Declare and Preach about Christ before Thousands, after the Holyghost baptism on the Pentecost.
The rest of the Disciples who couldn't understand would begin have divine knowledge of all truths and wrote the Books of the New testament.
Paul could confront Kings and Soldiers fearlessly, proclaiming Christ even at the face of persecution and death.

The importance of the Holyspirit cannot be overemphasised. Let us continue to yield to Him everyday, in all we do. Why?

John.14.16 - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- [NKJV]
John.14.17 - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. [NKJV]
John.14.18 - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. [NKJV]
John.14.19 - "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. [NKJV
John.14.20 - At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. [NKJV]

Luke 11:13
So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who keep asking him!"
Emphasis on keep asking Him.

May we receive the Grace to ask and receive, seek and find, knock and have heaven open to us by the Holyspirit in Jesus name. Amen.

God doesn't want us depending on pastors or prophets as the only ones who can hear God. He wants to have a personal relationship with you and I as He did in the beginning with Adam and Eve. As He did with Jesus and the apostles and early Christians.

But alas, we go to church for our selfish reason. People go to church with the same religious mentality as if church is supposed to function as sooth-sayer or medium or native doctor.
The church is only a place to help you know God. To help you who is seeking God to find Him and begin your relationship with Him. After this, all other things you need will be added unto you.
But unfortunately we have put the cart before the horse. We expect God to heal us or bless us or provide job, wife, children, husband first then we will serve Him.

Of a truth, just seek to know who this Jesus Christ is and you will be mindblown.
The problem is we have too many unworthy labourers pastoring churchs who misinterprete and misdoctrinate the gospel reducing it to just another religion.

I urge you to start putting the horse begore the cart henceforth and you will be amazed how God will Himself reveal your solutions to you grafually. Patience is a Virtue and Humility is the key.

The first time I heard the statement "Religion is your enemy" I was confused. It made a bit of sense to me but it was also contradictory given Religion is supposed to be the Solution.

Religion by definition is the belief and worship of a supernatural controlling power, especially a personal god or gods. There are other definitions but this os pretty apt, let us work with this.

In the beginning, when creation was formed by God, the first man Adam knew God. He didn't assume or invent a religion. He knew His maker. He, Eve and His offsprings worshiped and had personal relationship with God. But alas, the relationship was severed by sin and over centuries man lost his fellowship with God.

Millenia later, Man's recognition of his lack of control over the forces that determine his daily life and ultimately his destiny inspired his submission to a god or gods.
He looked at nature around him and started to worship entities that marveled him. Hence, the first religion was formed paganism/pantheism. Other religions emanated some by inspiration, others by philosophical observations and introspections.

Various religions sprouted up with the claim and promise of solution to man's myriad problems of sickness, bad luck, witchcraft, failure, lack of protection, etc. Any religion that could provide these to some measure dominated the town or nation.
The problems of the people being so great provided Religious leaders power and riches.

Man's problems however persisted because people depended on the religious leadees. He had the solution, he had the access to this his god or gods. His death would either be an end to that religion or usher in a successor whom the people had to depend on.
People became dependent on religiois leaders instead of God.

God never created a religion, man did.
God created man, and man created religion.
But religion has separated man from God.
Religion has become the enemy, the gulf, the dichotomy, separating man from God.

The crux of this article is not to list religions and start prodding their flaws and errors. No.
The only intent is to expose the charade of religion and reveal that it only creates a mirage of God, while keeping separated from God.

God yearns for your fellowship. God misses your relationship with Him so much. He went to great lengths to risk it all just so you can have access to Him once again, like Adam did, like Jesus did.

The problem is religious leaders have become demi gods. They have become so powerful and so rich off religion and people's miseries that they do not want to lose their grip on the people.
In most cases, they are hoodwinked to think they are actually protecting the people, protecting God.
A lot of unprintable evil has been perpetrated in the name of protecting and fighting for God.
But God never asked anyome to fight for Him. He is God, the Almighty, the Sovereign of Eternity.
Apparently they have been fighting to prorect their own interests.

If the purpose of religion is to solve people's problems, then why should a religion threaten to kill/imprison any one who seeks solution elsewhere? Why should a religion become a bondage? Think about it.

If the purpose of religion is to solve people's problems, why should it not work? Why is it inefficient and lacking efficacy? You should have solution, no excuses.

Religion is not the answer, it is become the problem.
Jesus did not have any problems with Political leaders, He did not even have a problem wifh witches and wizards. His only enemies were Religious leaders. Think about it.

I pray we receive Solution to our problems as we truly seek God. I pray our search leads us to His knowledge and Presence that we may be granted access from a place of separation, into a place of personal encounter and relationship.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me."

What a bold statement. Please do not find this offensive if it is against your belief. Instead let it spark your curiousity. Be humble to ask yoirself What if this is true?
Bear in mind, I was an atheist who argued publicly and also wrote against the monopolising of faith by Christians. But here I am today, admitting and submitting to the same statement I opposed and detested.

Before undergoing root canal surgery, may i suggest instead of extracting and completely losing your tooth or teeth why not ask them for a temporary filling first?

Most dentists are quick to suggest extraction but i assure most times a filling is all you need.

All the best and please try not to post pone the procedure your relief is one dentist away. Typically filling shouldn't cost more than 5-10k while Root canal surgery is about 20-25k.

Pride creeps into the heart without us even realising it.

It was Pride that led to the destruction of King Saul while Humility and Worship raised up David. Pride brought down Queen Vashti and humilty brought up her replacement Esther to become the new Queen.

Recently in our own present age, Pride has already creeping into the church. We boast of our churches being the best, and end up missing the essence and purpose, Christ the Word. Perhaps the biggest snare is our sense of pride in Titles, our age as "christians", and self knowledge of the word which makes us puffed up, thinking we are full and others are babes. We boast of our age as christians, our knowledge of the word forgetting we know nothing except for the Holyspirit. We don't listen to babes forgetting that the Holyspirit speaks through any vessel He chooses. We must repent and empty our vessels always, to be replenished, in order to be filled with New wine.

In our societies, Pride has even been instititionalised. We call it Class, Levels, Standard. We are not in the same Class, (S)He's not on my Level. Youths call it Swag. Lol
Let us be very careful and sensitive that we do not go the way of the proud.

Pride believes he knows it all, Humility believes he has a lot to learn.
Pride believes he is self made, Humility believes everything he's achieved is by God, not by Power or Might.
Pride loves recognition and attention. Humility lives to give others attention while staying in the background if possible.
Pride blows his trumpet, Others blow the trumpet of Humility.
Pride makes an ungrateful heart with sense of entitlement. Humility is grateful for all things no matter how little.

Lets bring it to the Homefront.
I always wondered why God hardly called First borns in the bible. Abel, Jacob, Joseph, David, etc you'll most likely even notice God rejects the first born and selects the younger.
First borns naturally have a sense of Pride endued on them. Either caused by necessity, responsibilty or thrust upon them by society but it is there. A sense of entitlement.
If you're a first born you have extra work to do exfoliating Pride from yoir life. If you're not a first born, you're not exempt, check yourself too. May God's grace be sufficient for us all.

In conclusion, we all should learn to be conscious, searching ourselves daily, some times we've come to love our pride, we might even be deceived to accept it as our nature, but i promise you it is not. It is a trap, an obstruction to the fulfilment of God's will in our lives.
Let us make humilty our word for the rest of the year and watch it transform and unveil us. Watch how it will reveal our true self and you begin to see it in others and how it has become a snare unto them.
Now Humility is not easy, it's like an insult to self some times.lol In fact it takes the Grace of God. But we have to keep trying, it becomes easier till it comes naturally.
May the unmeritted grace we have freely received in Christ be granted to everyone for we are all God's image and likeness, and for the establishment of God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, so help us God in Jesus name. Amen.

"Repent For The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand."
This is the Gospel Truth.

Two processes are essential in a person's life. Repentance and Unveiling. Otherwise (s)he remains the same, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

To repent is simply to Change Your Mind, Your Thinking, Your Ways.
To repent is to reflect and detect your defects. But to what effect? It is a sudden realisation of a self destructive lifestyle, detesting it, regretting it and seeking to find a solution.
It is an intense emotional process.
We all at some points come to this realisation occassionally but instead of objecting and choosing to correct, most times we simply accept.
Except we receive the Grace of God.

The next phase is Unveiling. O Congrats to the one who receives unveiling.
A veil is the lie that has replaced the truth. It is like in the movie The Matrix, it is the world that has been pulled before your eyes to prevent you from seeing the truth, seeing your reality.
It is a compendium of the heresies, hearsays, lies, indoctrinations, cultures, norms, socials, religion, brainwashing, education(or miseducation) that has become your reality.
And yes, it is the most difficult process. Only achievable when a stoney heart has been turned into flesh. Otherwise you will continue to argue and harden your heart like the villains/antagonists in the bible stories.

The Bible is the Greatest Book of Mystery.
-To some it is a book of Judgment, making one afraid to open it or even making one hate God.
-To others it is a book of Love. Making one see God's pure Love and yearn to become like His Love and try to live in His Love.

What greater Love ever known than "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

This sounds ridiculous at first and even impossible, until you start to think like God, then will you know Love and always choose Love.
Until I became born again, i loved the world the way it was. I had it figured out, or so i thought. I was selfish. I had to always put me first, then (may be) others.
Don't blame and judge me, it was what I saw in people and I mirrored it back at them. But was it right?

What is Sin and What is Righteousness?
Forget the religious impressions of these two words.
Sin is simply doing what is wrong. Conversely Right-eousness is doing right.
This begs the question why then do we love sin so much over righteousness?

I mean, nobody employs staff and expects their staff to be doing the wrong things. You want them to do the right thing. You don't pay for a service to have a wrong job done for you, you expect the right service. But why then do we not apply this to our own lives?
Why have we chosen to live with the ecpectation to do wrong and not do right?

Trust me you're not entirely to blame. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes. It is the lies that have become your truth. It is what you see all around you- in your friends, neighbours, tv, social media, etc.
The following words seem normal to everyone because they've been painted as such and it seems irrational and even abnormal not to live by them; Lying (even white lies), Pride, fornicating, abuse, wickedness, stubborness, malice, lawlessness, corruption etc. A part of you knows they're wrong. But another part of you has accepted them as the norm even convincing you that you can never do without them, that It is your nature.

Conversely these other set of words have become repulsive to you in fact they seem only applicabe to losers and boring specs; Honesty, humility, celibacy, generousity, selflessness, fellowship, order, obedience etc.

Now kindly do me a favour. Try to picture the two different worlds for both scenarios?
The former will more likely look the the Wild Wild West, Dystopia. Survival of the fittest and fiercest.
While the later looks like Utopia, Olympus, a Dream world right? But it is only a dream because it is our original design but we have been misled to think it impossible, unrealistic.

We've been lied to and misled for too long that it has become impossible to believe otherwise. Like a woman who has been in abusive relationships all her life. She most likely won't survive a good peaceful relationship, she'll start missing her abusers, might even end up running back to them. It might sound irrational but that's her truth.

Repentance and unveiling can not be self taught neither can they be achieved by self motivation. It will only ride for some time but will come crashing down. There's only one Panacea.
I do not speak as a Marketer because I'm an end user. Jesus Christ Saved My Life.

I never thought it possible. I knew i was living wrong but i just couldn't stop. The devil got me and got me bad, right where he wanted. Bowing to him in my depressed state thinking I might commit suicide if I didn't use and abuse substances. He got me not trusting myself against anything. I became morally amd sexually bankrupt. I was only sure of now and very scared of tomorrow. I was a victim of the media, the society decided my standard. Normal didn't do it for me anymore, i was restless for more.
I would see homosexualism, transexualism, Beastiality and Paedophiles all over the news and start to question if they were just victims of circumstamce and whether it could eventually happen to me too under the wrong circumstances. I didn't trust myself anymore.

Please I exhort you, no one is going to be responsible for you but you, No one. Your parents, siblings, friends, mentors, spouses, partners and significant others might just as well be victims of these lies so you can't depend on anyone.
Only Jesus can Save You, can Deliver You, can Empower You, can Enrich You, can Give You Hope and Inexplicable Peace and Happiness flowing from the depth of Your Being.

All He asks is that you Invite Him into your life, Seek Him genuinely and trust me you will Love Him for the rest of Your Life.
He'll teach you to Love and Forgive your self and others too.
You can start now by locating a private place, now confess Him as Your Lord and Saviour, ask for mercy and forgiveness. Name your sins and how much you want Him to help you overcome them.
The next step is very important. You have to do something different now, make a deliberate choice to know who Jesus is and how to serve Him. You can just decide to dedicate the rest of this year to do that. Locate a good church in your area and follow their due process. Present yourself as a first time comer, attend their foundation class and choose to Repent by Changing your mind and your ways. Victory and Glory are ours in Jesus name. Amen.

Don't listen to the voices telling you it's not worth it, please lose all the swag and pride for a minute and just do it.
