Ogbuefi2020: CHeck these two headlines, one was in 2013 by a Northern elder, the second was seven days ago by Northern youths, all saying the same thing about yorubas, hide your head in shame. The only reason you are hatting on Biafra is because of what these Northerners will do with you when Biafra is gone No one is saying any tribe is a Saint, but igbos are the worst. We're different peoples, of course every one is bound to act and make decisions in the best interest of their people. But not resort to destructive measures and crying secession like igbos do. Whatever warped up account of history some sentimental igbos concocted for you will only leave you wallowing in blind hatred. The counter coup that led to the attack on igbos was orchestrated cos of the first coup igbos masterminded. |

Ogbuefi2020: Yorubas are the problem with Nigeria - Sanusi Lamid Awolowo Introduced Tribalism in Nigerian Politics - Paul Unongo Yorubas are ungrateful backstabbers - Northern youths
Non of the above are Igbos, you cannot run away from the shameless and ignoble role you played in history, bringing your sins before you is what you call hate. The new wave of the so called hate is the turn of events in Buhari administration, yorubas went on triumphalist euphoria after Buhari's wuru wuru victory, insulting igbos and claiming political maradonna, now that he has failed and all predictions by igbos are coming to pass, if you blast the dullard, yorubas feel offended and start crying of hate. When Osunbade is kicked out watch how IPOB yoots smash your afonjastic heads, while you shout hate hate There you go again, blaming everyone else. Yorubas historically fought for what Nigeria stood for and posterity remembers in pride. Awolowo, Zik and Tarawa Balewa all fought for a United country. Until Ojukwu sowed the seed of hate and secession in the hearts of igbos. Posterity will forever remember igbos for their Treachery and how they paid for it. Have you ever tried to envision the number of lives wasted fighting Ojukwu's selfish fight? But instead of turning your anger to Ojukwu and his family for what disaster they brought on your families, you're busy burning what's left of your dignity with your pseudo pride foolhardy. Now Kanu is burying what's left of you, and your lot cheer him on. Kontinu. |

Politics › Re: Igbos Won’t Vote In Favour Of Biafra In Referendum ―kokori by pressplay411(m): 8:06pm On Jul 03, 2017 |
Cooly100: n an atmosphere of a free and fair referendum on Biafra Republic, many Igbos will vote against seceding from Nigeria, Chief Frank Kokori has opined.
Kokori, who’s the former Secretary General of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Tribune Online in Warri, Delta State.
The septuagenarian said most of the Biafra agitators hardly knew what they actually wanted for their people.
Besides, the Abacha nightmare in the days of the struggle for the actualisation of June 12, 1993 presidential election, asserted that Biafra was a mirage because the South East zone is landlocked.
He noted that being the most successful commercial people, the Igbos will lose more if they broke away from the country, adding that they own the choicest properties in major cities in the country.
Kokori debunked the allegation that only Igbos were being marginalised, saying every tribe and zone in the country experiences marginalisation one way or another, especially in the area of hunger and poverty.
According to the fiery activist, who spent four years in prison over agitation for June 12, the most marginalised people are actually the northerners because of squalor and mortgaged future by their elites.
This, he argued, is evident in the high rate of beggars among the northerners as against barely any among Igbos and a few amongst Yorubas across the country.
“The Biafra agitation is being handled by people who do not even know what they want.
“I for one know that if you allow all the Igbos in this country to go into a free and fair referendum, they won’t vote that Biafra should leave Nigeria.
“Igbos will lose more. Their land is a landlocked zone of the country, but they are the most successful commercial people across the country.
“Go to Abuja, Lagos, Kano, PortHarcourt, everywhere, they own most of the choice properties.
“Even here in Warri, they own properties. What can they do in their landlocked zone?
“You see, it’s just that the young people there don’t know. You see, everybody felt marginalised not only the Igbos.
“Because if you don’t have a good job, you don’t have food to eat, you don’t have medical facilities, you’re purely marginalised.
“Who are the most marginalised people, they are the northerners! They are so poor and a few of their elites loot everything from them.
“The average Igbo man and Yoruba man lives better than the average northern Nigerian. Check it. You don’t see an Igbo man begging on the streets.
“Yorubas are very few begging on the streets. Every other person, except the rich, in the north begs.
“What we need do is to build a good country of justice and equity.
“We can’t keep talking of breaking up. Why did America fight their civil war? They won’t allow one state to break away.
“California and Texas are 10 times bigger and richer than Nigeria. They won’t allow them to break away.
“They give them some freedom and the wealth is being properly distributed,” Kokori noted.
He accused the elites in the South South, where he hails from, four impoverishing their people in spite of stupendous derivation funds given to the region.
“Look at the 13 per cent they give our people in the South South, do they manage it well? They steal almost 80 per cent of the money. They don’t do anything with it.
They deliberately leave the people in abject poverty, but the elite have fat bank accounts in Europe and elsewhere.
That’s why I said some of us are disillusioned and depressed with what’s happening in the country.
But we still have hope. We know what we’ve passed through in the past,” he disclosed.

The question is not whether or not he's making sense. Cos even a thief would convince you with a sympathetic story that touches. But the fact remains that stealing is a crime hence he's a criminal.
Likewise, he poses a sympathetic excuse for secession but the fact remains, it's out of a selfish interest. He's just another frustrated igbo holding unto a fictitious mirage of a biafran solution to all his problem. When the solution lies in a better United one country. Our strength as a nation is in our population and diversity. |

jomoh: Depends on those you call the sinners and those you think are fighting for me.
I could prefer those defending the so called sinners if those who think they are fighting for me are actually The sinners.
I could prefer those allegedly Fighting for me if truly they are doing it for me.
The question is now who are the sinners and who are the righteous ones fighting for me? because in this situation, the two of them claim to be fighting for me.
Again given the circumstances, who will you give your support given that the two sides are laying claims to you but one is preserving while one is destroying what you built? This is a major concern cos it is the root of all religious wars. Even when Muslims denounce these Terrorists (ISIL, BH, Al Quadra, etc) they cant completely condemn their actions cos even they believe it's a fight for God to establish a godly earth. Religion is supposed to be for salvation, sadly it's now become a tool for destruction and terror. |
