A Lagos based lady has accused her husband of brutally beating and maltreating her after she advised him about drinking alcohol. According to the woman, her husband who takes drugs to control his high blood pressure - allegedly descended on her after she told advised him against taking alcohol for his own health.

The woman also claimed this is not the first time of being beaten in her marriage as she alleged that the husband no longer wants to take care of their child.

The woman who has now fled Lagos, is currently in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital and is seeking for justice.

While most Nigerians are selective of the type of meat they eat, a Nigerian man has proudly showed off his meal of Abakiliki rice and lizard meat. The Abuja based man identified as Che Oyinatumba claimed that the ''highly nutritious'' meat improves libido and enhances his sex performance as he downed the meal with palm wine.

He shared pictures of him eating the meal this morning on Facebook.

Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos, has released a video showing him perform a “deliverance” on lesbian partners from what he described as satanic “lesbian spirits”. The deliverance happened during a recent church service.

In the video, the prophet is seen performing a “deliverance” on the lesbian partners. One of them can be heard saying she has always been attracted to women but has now been delivered by the anointed hands of the Nigerian prophet.

The pastor after conducting the deliverance - hugged both of them and told them he loves them.

Homosexuality is a crime in Nigeria punishable by death in some sharia-dominated northern states. In other parts, it attracts a maximum of 14 years in prison.

A man Onoriode Amadi showed off his certificate after being appointed as the New Chairman of Sapele Central Cemetery on Wednesday. The new chairman who began work in earnest yesterday - visited the cemetery along with his team where he displayed his newly appointed certificate also posted list of workers on the wall.

The new chairman also urged the government to support him so that the place can be cleared open and to renovate the old structure in order to make the cemetery standard.

Here's an update on the bank robbery operation which caused panic and chaos among residents in Offa town of Kwara State. The robbers shot sporadically forcing residents and businesses to close shop in the Sanni Aba area of the town.


Contrary to reports that four victims were killed, corpses of many victims including police officers have been discovered after the robbery operation including . The robbery was reported to have lasted for several hours on various banks in the area without any resistance from the police or the army.

The robbers who came with heavy weapons and dynamites which they used for the operation on about five banks – carted away huge amount of money and cars before escaping through Igosun route in the area...

The Olu-obasanjo Police Station Surveillance Team followed up and arrested a dreaded robbery Gang terrorising D/Line and Port Harcourt areas of Rivers state. The hoodlums were trailed shortly after snatching a Lexus jeep belonging to a popular stand up comedian 'Aboki 4 Christ'.

Two notorious brothers who lost their sibling to armed robbery were among the arrested suspects.

Three AK47 Assault Rifles, 171 Live ammunition, Seven Magazines, Three Life Cartridges, Toyota Corolla Salon Car, K2 Live Ammunition, Concussions, Charms, Illicit Drugs, Two Vehicle Plate Numbers, Five Face Mask, Ten Different Mobile Phones & N36,000. were recovered from them.

They also Confessed to Bank Robberies, Snatching of Vehicles in Port Harcourt etc.

A Nigerian man has become an online sensation after treating his wife to a lovely getaway to mark their 10 years wedding anniversary. The man identified as Rukevwe Okpakovwodo surprised his wife, Okpakovwodo Doro Blessing by riding her in an helicopter to a quite mountain side where two of them spent quality time together.

The man from Delta state took to Facebook to also share loving words for his wife. Below is what he wrote;

Two people have been killed by unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen in Tsohuwar Gwari village in Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna state. Reports from the village said the gunmen invaded the village around 12 midnight on Saturday and kidnapped nine people, including a newly-wedded bride.

“They killed two people on the spot and kidnapped nine, even though three people were able to escape,” a source revealed, according to media reports..

He called on the government to, as a matter of urgency, come to the aide of the people.

The tragic incident occurred less than one week after 11 soldiers killed in the area were buried.

On Saturday, Zubairu Gwari, emir of Birnin Gwari, asked his subjects to defend themselves against those invading their communities.

According to reports, five Fulani hoodlums met their Waterloo on Saturday, March 31, at Garba Chedi, Bali local Government Area of Taraba state during a failed kidnap attempt. Weapons which were reportedly recovered them include; 1 Ak47, 1 Pump Action, Charms, Cutlasses, Allo(carved metal use for Islamic spiritual recitations) and 2 local single barrels.

They met their timely death at the hands of the CP of Taraba State, DPO Bali LG., officers and men of the Nigerian police force.

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force nabbed a notorious traffic robber who pretended to be selling 'Soft Drinks and pure water' to motorists at Oshodi bridge. SP Olayinka Egbeyemi, Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force disclosed that the traffic robber was apprehended by officers of the Agency who were positioned at Oshodi bridge to check criminal activities of these traffic robbers.

He stated that the traffic robber was arrested after he had broken a driver's side screen of a Toyota Corolla car with hammer and snatched 2 phones and a bag containing valuables.

The Chairman stated further that immediately the suspect was arrested and every items stolen recovered the owner was called on phone to pick up her bag and 2 phone at Task Force office, Bolade, Oshodi.

SP Egbeyemi who commended Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for providing necessary modernised security tools however assured members of the public that the Agency will not relent in its efforts to completely rid Oshodi and the State as a whole of such unscrupulous elements activities.

He confirmed that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police CP EDGAL IMOHIMI has directed that the arrested traffic robber be charged to court for prosecution and other syndicate in this shady act should be arrested within Oshodi and it's environs.

Arrested traffic robber Mr. Oluwole Kayode (27 years) who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State confessed to have been using a hammer on motorists who refused to voluntarily released their belongings during traffic at Oshodi bridge.

"Yes i used hammer to broke her vehicle side screen because the woman refused to surrender her bag and 2 phones when I approached her during traffic when it was raining"

The owner of the snatched bag and 2 phones Mrs Hadizatul Jiddah commended the Lagos State Commissioner of Police for his efforts of ridding Lagos of crime and State Task Force for prompt action taken.

"If not for the prompt interventions of personnel of the Lagos State Task Force my bag and 2 phones would have gone"

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu on Sunday joined hundreds of Muslim Faithfuls, in the funeral prayer of a businessman and motor-dealer, Alhaji Abbas Sahabi Cashier at the Emir’s Palace Juma’at Mosque Birnin Kebbi.

A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari says, the Governor also visited family house of the deceased, where he prayed Allah to grant the late Abbas eternal rest and family fortitude to bear the loss.

Others who attended the rites include Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, Alhaji Sambo Gwandu (Rtd) Comptroller Immigration, Commissioners, Advisers, Head of Service, Abubakar Udu Idris, Justice Saddiq Umar, Justice Sama’ila Haruna Rasheed, Former Commissioner of Finance in the former Sokoto State, Alhaji Tukur Usman, Judges, Khadis, Members of Emirate Councils, District Heads, Politicians and top government functionaries.

Until his death late Abbas was a motor-dealer and power bike marketer with Gamzaki motors.

He died in power bike accident along Jega-Maiyama road on Saturday.

Aged 51, he left behind two wives, twelve children and relations among whom is the Kebbi State Accountant General, Alhaji Ibrahim Three-Three.
