Governor Nyesom Wike has arrived the Rivers State High Court Complex in Port-Harcourt after it was allegedly vandalized by APC thugs said to be loyal to Minister of Transportation; Rotimi Ameachi.

According to reports, the supporters said to be loyal to former governor, Mr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi were allegedly backed by over 40 operatives of Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) who reportedly locked the Gate of the High Court Complex as the youths vandalized vehicles and offices in a bid to intimidate judicial officers.

Workers and judges who struggled to gain entrance were allegedly beaten to stupor, while the SARs operatives shot repeatedly into the air.

However, Rivers youths numbering over 100 marched to the High Court Complex, defied the SARs operatives who were reportedly shooting before they opened the court.

The supporters were allegedly led by Jacob Briggs from Akuku-Toru Local Government Area said that they blocked the court premises to stop proceedings in the suit filed by Senator Magnus Abe.

Briggs claimed that the Senator is planning to use the High Court to stop the Rivers APC Local Government Congresses.

However, Rivers youths numbering over 100 marched to the High Court Complex, defied the SARs operatives who were reportedly shooting before they opened the court.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has arrested operators of two high flyer travel and tour Agencies based in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). They are: Mr. Ibrahim Wali, Managing Director and Chief Executive of Family Travel & Tour Limited and Mr Nasiru Musa Jubril, Chairman and Chief Executive of Divine Travel & Tour limited. They were arrested for alleged trafficking of 96 Nigerians to Saudi Arabia using the 2017 Hajj exercise.

The red flags were raised recently by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in a letter of complaint against Family Travel & Tour Limited which applied for and got allocation to take 450 persons to Saudi Arabia during the 2017 Hajj Exercise.

However, months after the Hajj operations ended the company is unable to account for 96 of the people and every attempt to get the company to bring the people back has proved abortive.

In the course of the investigation, Mr. Wali alleged that it was his friend Mr. Musa Jubril that used his company to transact the business. The two suspects are making useful statements as investigation continues. It would be recalled that NAPTIP had last Friday raided a popular hotel in Abuja where suspected victims of human trafficking and labour exploitation were believed to have been kept by some operators of some travel & tour companies prior to their departure.

At the end of the sting operation, 13 persons suspected to be victims of human trafficking and labour exploitation were rescued while two suspected traffickers were arrested. The facility was subsequently sealed up by the Agency.

Speaking on the arrest, Director – General of NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah – Donli, warned travel & tour operators in the Country to desist from recruiting innocent Nigerian for sexual and labour exploitation adding that their actions are inimical to the development of the nation.

As part of efforts to stem the tide of cyber crimes, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, in the early hours of Friday, May 11, 2018 arrested over 12 suspected internet fraudsters in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

The EFCC operatives stormed the popular Club 57 on Awolowo Way, Ikoyi, where the suspected "yahoo yahoo boys" were rounded up, following intelligence report. While some of the suspects abandoned their exotic cars to avoid arrest, some others put up resistance, thereby turning the environ into a war-like zone of sorts.

However, a total 10 cars were recovered from the suspects during raid that lasted about three hours. The suspects will soon be charged to court when investigations are concluded..

Operatives of the Nigerian Police force have arrested and paraded 56 bandits allegedly responsible for killings and kidnappings in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State and Zamfara State. The suspects were paraded along with weapons, charms, cars and other stolen items including gold wrist watches and chains recovered from them.

A gang led by Mohammed Rabiu was arrested after Four (4) members of the gang were killed by the Police Joint Team in a shootout in the forest at Bawan Daji, Anka LGA in Zamfara State. He confessed to have been responsible for the killing of Forty Six (46) people during the burial of three (3) people that his gang killed earlier in Bawan Daji village in Zamfara State.

It was earlier reported how two truck filled of Fulani indigenes were intercepted at a checkpoint in Ogoja local government area in Cross River state after an alarm was raised by Hausa villagers who sighted them while coming down from the truck to buy food on Sunday, May 6th. Youths from the host community where the Fulanis stopped; Ogoja - came in agreement and refused the Fulanis from settling there as they chased them away.

According to reports from an eyewitness, “the Fulanis came with two armed escorts – an Army Officer and a Policeman since they suspected the locals could resist them if eventually they got to know”. To their greatest surprise, the Hausas who have been living in Garki over the years where the first to raise alarm and call the attention of the public about the “new faces” who have come to join them''.

According to the Hausas, “The new Fulanis will make life difficult and hostile for them to continue living in Ogoja peacefully because it is possible they were driven from wherever they came from because they were killer Herdsmen”.

Youths chased the Fulanis from Garki, to Yahe in Yala. When the people of Yahe saw what was going on, they joined in the campaign and chased them farther through the borders of Yala and Ikom.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ms Irene Ugbo said that actually two trucks loaded with Fulani Herdsmen arrived the towns but were returned back with armed escorts.

A pastor is lucky to be alive after cheating death in a ghastly motor accident in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. The pastor identified simply as Murphy was involved in an accident with his car which almost claimed his life. The pastor who survived the crash with broken legs - is now back on his feet with the aid of crutches.

Its' is no news that the All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congresses held across Delta state on Saturday - recorded series of violence including the killing of Jeremiah Oghoveta, a chairmanship aspirant in Jeremi unit III, ward 10, Ughelli South who was stabbed to death.

Also, there were near-death attacks on Comrade Chuks Erhire (Director General, Senator Omo-Agege Constituency Office), Barrister Ejiro Etaghene (vocal media supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Great Ogboru and Senator Omo-Agege) and Hon. Julius Akpovoka (ardent supporter of Chief Great Ogboru and Senator Omo-Agege).

They were all admitted to hospital in critical emergency states when, without any provocation whatsoever, thugs allegedly hired by a politician and led by his lackeys went after them at Orchids Hotel, Asaba on May 7, 2018, obviously for their political tendencies.

Comrade Erhire and Barrister Etaghene are still in coma or critical state in the hospital.

Here's a picture of a wounded woman breastfeeding her little child after both of them survived the recent explosion which happened last Wednesday evening in Zing local government area of Taraba state. The explosion killed at least ten people and injured many others in the area.

The inferno started after a tanker driver, who was reportedly running from soldiers chasing him, lost control of the wheel and in a bid to regain balance, tumbled on another moving tanker.

It was gathered from an eyewitness, the impact of the fall on the tarred road led to a huge explosion, sending balls of fire and plumes of dark smokes into the sky.

The fire soon spread and caught vehicles parked by the roadside, triggering a stampede and commotion as many scurried to flee the raging fire...

A young man is lucky to be alive after allegedly surviving a poison attack in Asaba, Delta state capital. According to the survivor, the poison was sent to him while he was sleeping in his house as he had to use traditional means to remove the poison which was in form of an insect as seen in the pictures below.

It was also revealed that this is the second time he's surviving poison attack which nearly killed him.

A woman identified as Vivian is filled with thanks to God for delivering her and other passengers from the hands of a ritual killer inside the bus while traveling to Kaduna state. The woman who is a member of The Lord's Chosen Int'l, said that the ritualist became powerless after sighting the church's apron as it was filled with fire.

She and her co-passengers were traveling, on getting to Kaduna, the vehicle had fault. It was repaired but later developed another fault. They were all afraid and decided to stop over after they had the premonition that something bad would happen. They started praying in the bus and powers took over everywhere.

They decided to search everybody in the bus, lo and behold, they saw some human heads with other incriminating objects inside a bag of the man sitting behind her. When he was accosted, he said he planned killing all of them on the way. This happened immediately our sister declared herself a Chosen three good times. Other things sighted in his bags were dead head of human being, dogs, cow, cat, hen and other animals, etc.

Everyone in the bus became surprise and started shouting Jesus. They asked the man who owned the bag, what his missions was, and he replied that his mission was to kill all the people at the bridge in Lokoja but the girl sitting at his front was wearing an apron (Chosen Apron). When he looked at the apron, it was fire to him.

As they came out, the man asked her (Sis Vivian) to step forward. Other passengers were asking her, if she had anything to do with the man and she said no. She made known who she is to them, that she's a Chosen and why the man was asking her to come out, he said the apron she wore is filled with fire.

On hearing that, people began to shout, bullet proof! bullet proof!! bullet proof!!! Her co-passengers asked her the location of the Lord's Chosen Church she attends and she directed them. A woman in the bus said she don't talk evil about our G.O, that she knows our G.O is a true man of God.

This is how God delivered them and granted them journey mercies. The man (the ritualist) was handed over to the police. She's returning all glories unto our only good God who did this to her.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, May 3, 2018 secured the conviction of Ikechukwu Elom Awoke, before Justice A. Y. Sanya of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri, on a 2-count amended charge bordering on conspiracy and cheating to tune of N350,000 (three hundred and fifty thousand naira).

He was sentenced to six months imprisonment with option of fine of N50,000 for conspiracy on count one and eighteen months imprisonment with option of fine of N50,000 for cheating on count two.

The case was triggered by a petition dated August 16, 2017 by one Noami Wanya, who claimed she met the convict through the Facebook, and in the process entered into a relationship with the aim of marrying each other.

In the course of the relationship, Awoke fraudulently obtained N350,000 from the petitioner through his account domiciled in one of the old generation banks, prompting the victim to petition the EFCC. The offence is contrary to and punishable under Sections 320 (a) and 322 of the Penal Code Law Cap 102, Laws of Borno State.

Awoke pleaded guilty to the two counts and was convicted and sentenced by the court after a review of the facts of the case.

A man who survived an attack by unknown thugs in Bauchi , has accused the state government of being behind the attack which left many injured. According to Haruna Aliyu Ningi, they were having a meeting in Bauchi where they criticized the state government before the attackers stormed the venue in their numbers.

Below is what Haruna Aliyu Ningi shared on Facebook two days ago.

TODAY WEDNESDAY,IS TWO WEEKS WHEN AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE ON MY LIFE.

It is two weeks precisely today when an attempt to kill me was made while holding a meeting of our association(Gamayyar Mawakan Hausa) at hall 2 on second floor in the reinsurance house,it was around 2:00pm while rounding up the meeting when some thugs about 20 in number suddenly appeared and started to macheted anyone on sight.

Two of our members(Jibrin JB and Nazir M Nazir) were thrown down the second floor after been machete which caused them a multiple fractures including a cerebral crack, I,Aliyu Shamaki,Danjuma and some other members received a serious degree of injuries. The reason for the attack is simple, we are against the way our State is being run and we are highlighting the populace.

The thugs destroyed my car at their arrival in the premises where more than 15 cars were parked, this show they have a target,and they proceed upstairs to carry out their murderous act, only Allah save me otherwise,it would have been someone that is telling this incident.

PRIME SUSPECT:Bauchi State Govt,,,

It is clear that the State Govt cannot exenorate itself from the suspicion because the attack was carried out in the broad day light and in one of the biggest business premises in the state very close to AIG zonal office, the thugs were recognised as well as their leaders in the name of Hassan Zeba and Sunusi Biyali who is now aspiring to be Bauchi LG APC chairman,a state govt thugs who are always been seen at Govt house and in any other State Govt functions with there cars,painted in APC and the State Gov's picture of 4+4=8 or Allah maimaita logo.
The next reason was the State govt failure to condemn the act since it involves very important citizens especially in politics.

And again the State Govt failure to console with the victims verbally or in written as done during the arrest of Musa Azare where the Govt even call for his release,no do the Govt upsets any cost incured in the process of treating the injured. To add a salt to an injury, the suspects arrested by SARS Bauchi Command were taken to Court on Friday,but a State Govt official and a lawyer from the State ministry with some hired lawyers engineer their bail at around 5:00pm when all courts were expected to be closed,may be that is why the process was held at the judge chamber of CMC 7 GRA rather than the Courtroom,however,the Judge really didn't judge their security that day because,if to say we were intending revenge(because nobody has a monopoly of violence)the judge would have offer us a good chance.

My last reason was that,a day prior to the incident, I was invited by the Director SS Bauchi Chapter Mallam Shinkafi in which we discussed on the way to reconcile the Gamayyar Mawakan Hausa and the State Govt political confrontation,we reach a stand where I promise to call my members the next day and discuss a ceasefire before his return from Zamfara after he attended some matters in Abuja,till date Mallam didn't call me despite been the first high ranking security officer to hear the incident from me immediately after it occurrance,may be he is not back yet or he backed down from his initial intention. Base on the above happening we are calling the Presidency, the NASS, NJC, the IGP, NHRC and other NGOs plus social media activist to come to our rescue, Bauchi State Govt is recruiting a new insecurity in the name of Sara Suka. A Nigerian lady who lives in Enugu state - has taken to Facebook to reveal her displeasure after a fake Facebook account was opened in her name to defraud unsuspecting victims again. To make the matter worse, the suspected fraudster also used most of her pictures in order to scam people.

The lady identified as Zikky Sandy revealed that this is not the first time her pictures are being used by scammers online.

Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello has finally broken his silence on senator Dino Melaye's arrest and recent ordeal at the hands of security operatives. Governor Bello and the lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district at the National Assembly, Melaye, have been at loggerheads with both accusing and counter-accusing themselves.

During a recent All Progressives Congress APC meeting, governor Bello was asked by the reporters about the issue concerning one of the senators in his state.

The governor replied by asking which of the senators. He was told senator Dino Melaye.

''I read it in the news and watched it on television as the law enforcement agencies are carrying on their lawful duty, that's all I can say about that'', the governor said.

Senator Dino Melaye was arrested last month for allegedly sponsoring and arming political thugs in Kogi state.
