A mentally unstable woman welcomed a bouncing baby in Sapele area of Delta state. According to Sapele Oghenek, a woman who sells 'Bole' (roasted plantain) noticed that the mentally deranged woman was in labour by the roadside. She tried to assist her but noticed that the woman's placenta refused to come out...

The woman called for help and a doctor simply identified as Ugochuckwu arrived the scene. The doctor reportedly injected the woman to aid her push and deliver the baby smoothly...

The baby who was safely delivered was taken by the doctor to the hospital as the woman's family were located...

This is really heartbreaking. A woman who burnt a seven year old girl identified as Chidinma with hot knife has been arrested by Anambra State police. According to Emma Oramalu, the woman burnt the little girl with hot knife after severally flogging her and injecting pepper into her private part for eating crayfish and licking sugar. She has been arrested and is currently helping the police in their investigation.

A Nigerian lady has left her family and friends in sorrow following her demise in Mecca during this year's pilgrimage. According to Abdullahi I. Mahuta who shared the sad news, the lady's last statement to her mother when she was leaving for this year's Hajj was: 'God can take her life over there as long as she completes the Hajj pilgrimage successfully'..Her prayer was apparently answered.

According to report, she died of a natural course. May her soul rest in peace.

This is very serious. Two young men who allegedly stole a vehicle in the picture below at night - got more they bargained for as they returned it the next day (which is today) but not the same way they took. In a trending video footage posted online, the young thieves removed their clothes totally in front of shocked passersby and used them to wash the car.

One of the thieves was spotted with a long snake round his neck as seen in the pictures as he danced and wriggled his body in a reptile like manner.

The other one used his cloth to wash the car from a dirty stagnant water on the road...

While all this was happening, the large crowd mocked and laughed at the thieves as they made a fool of themselves publicly.

They were later taken away by security operatives after the eyeful 'entertainment'.

Two young men were stripped unclad and made to walk around Agudama Epie community in Bayelsa state after they were allegedly caught stealing. According to reports, the notorious thieves had been a thorn in the flesh of residents in the area before their apprehension earlier today.

After the humiliating parade, the suspects were handed over to the police authority.

A man was savagely beaten after he was caught stealing CD plates in a trending footage posted online. The man who earlier denied stealing the CDs - was humiliated after the stolen items were discovered hidden in his underwear. Rather than let him go over the "minor" theft, the man who was smiling after being nabbed - was descended upon with series of hot slaps and even made to kneel down as his belongings were seized. Just few days ago, it was reported that security operatives have increased the number of their personnel in the South-East and South-South zones of the country as part of measures to prevent a breach of the peace, which may result from the activities of Biafran agitators ahead of the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.

The police also said it was waiting for court pronouncement for the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Nigerian Government had previously demanded that the Federal High Court in Abuja revoke the bail granted to Kanu.

Now, at least 10 trailers conveying armored tanks and military hardware were seen entering the South East as residents and passersby watched in fear.

According to reports, the security operatives have placed the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, under surveillance to prevent him from fleeing the country should the court revoke his bail and order his re-arrest for allegedly flouting his bail conditions.

There was pandemonium yesterday at Isigate in Umuahia the capital of Abia State. According to reports from people who were at the scene at the time of the incident, a commercial tricyclist popularly known as Keke driver, was accosted by soldiers for putting a Biafra flag in front of his tricycle. On reaching the military check-point, a solider reportedly stopped him and starting questioning him about what the flag is all about and why he displayed it.

The man who reportedly answered the soldier that it is a Biafran flag, and that he is a proud Biafran - didn't give "satisfactory answer".

According to an eyewitness report, the solider allegedly slapped the Keke driver and started dragging him away in a bid to arrest him. At a point, the man couldn't bear the pain any more and started to defend himself by fighting back as people started gathering to resist the soldiers.

As the incident continued, the soldiers reportedly signaled their base who sent more soldiers to the area..

Pro-Biafrans and residents who were already coming out in their numbers - tried to resist the security operatives, the soldiers were said to have started shooting live bullets at them as seen in the pictures below.

Several residents were reported to have sustained different degrees of injuries following the chaos.

As at yesterday night, soldiers were seen patrolling the area to prevent another fight from residents.

A lone and serious accident just happened on the Third Mainland Bridge outward Lagos. The accident involved a Toyota Corolla car with 4 adults and 2 children. Miraculously, they all escaped death. They were returning from an eatery on the Island where they went to celebrate Sallah.

Only two male adults sustained minor injuries.

They are all being attended to by the patrol team of RRS stationed very close to the scene of the incident.

Emergency ambulance with medical team is close to the scene.

RRS men are also controlling traffic while the vehicle would also be towed to a safe place shortly.

A woman who was shy to kiss her man at the altar during their wedding ceremony - jokingly pushed her husband away when he brought his mouth to seal the union. Even when she eventually kissed her hubby, she did so passively as her family, friends and other church members erupted in laughter.

According to social media reports, this happened in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital over the weekend.

A man was apprehended in Yenagoa, by members of the Bayelsa state Vigilante Network led by Comr. Bunas Samuel michael, for allegedly cooking and preparing vultures and selling them as chicken meat to the general public. The man was apprehended at the popular slaughter place, at Tombia Market, Etegwe Yenagoa and has been handed over to men of the Akenfa Division, Bayelsa Police command.

Bayelsa Vigilante apprehends Man, Women, who sells Vultures as Chicken meat in Yenagoa.

The man was apprehended when field commanders of the Vigilante network led by Godwin Avidi, were on patrol around the market axis, at exactly 11:43pm on Wednesday 30th August.

According to Godwin, the patroll team observed suspicious movement at the slaughter place, and trailed it.

" to our greatest imagination, we saw about thirty dead vultures, all prepared to be placed inside a hot pot of boiling water, we called the attention of the police and handed the suspect over to them, before then, he confessed to us, that, he uses dead meat bones to attract the vultures and then uses chemicals to kill them, and he has been in this business for years, selling them to market women and chicken traders at Major markets and chicken sales point in the state", Godwin said.

It was gathered, that the suspect is currently in the police net, and the police have already taken photos of the exhibits, which will be availed to the public soon.

Similarly, three women, who identified themselves as Doris, finegirl, and beauty, hails from Ughelli community, in Delta state, were also apprehended by the Vigilante network at the Tombia market a day after.

They confessed selling Vulture meat and carcasses of donkeys to unsuspecting buyers.

The women confessed that, they import these meats from neighbouring states into the state and sell at cheap and affordable price to buyers, mostly those who own restaurants, bars and canteens.

Speaking with the Yenagoa coordinator of the Vigilante Network, Bunas Samuel, he advised all Bayelsans to be on alert and be careful on what they consume, he called on Nafdac to live up to it's responsibility and checkmate the activities of food hawkers.

Bunas also called for calm and promised that the Vigilante will fish out every form of evil in any guise operating in the state.#
