The operatives of the Anti Cultism Unit of the Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force on 13th August, 2017 through an intelligence information and a well coordinated operation arrested One Emmanuel Ogbonna who claimed to hail from Okpanam Delta state, Odo Chinedu of Aguabo Enugu with Sixteen Bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.

Also recovered from one of the suspects Emmanuel, is a suspected identity/warrant card portraying him as a member of Director of security services with the name Emmanuel Tako and number FCA552447.

Suspects were nabbed when the operatives acting on intelligence information swooped on them at New Market axis of the state and where the bags of the weeds suspected to be Indian hemp was concealed in the booth of their Camry car with registration Number LSR 769 DF hence the bags of the weeds alongside the vehicle were recovered from suspects.

Suspects are helping the police operatives in their investigations just as Emmanuel has revealed that he was dismissed as a DSS Personnel but uses the alleged identity card to ferry weeds suspected to be indian hemp using the said vehicle.

Investigations into their nefarious activities are in full scale.

This is quite tragic. A little baby lost her life after she fell inside a deep well and drowned. According to information gathered online, the baby fell into the well while playing and died some minutes later as no adult was around to rescue the baby. By the time help came, the baby had already given up the ghost.

Some graduates from Harvard John F Kennedy School of Government and MIT who are on a field trip to Lagos - paid a visit to Badagry area where they were received by the King himself, His Royal Majesty, the Oba Akran Of Badagry, De Aholu Menu-Toyi I in his Palace. The monarch shared insights about the significance of Badagry to the history of Lagos and Nigeria with his guests.

They also visited Badagry Heritage Museum, the First Storey Building in Nigeria, Mobee Slave Relics Museum, Brazilian Baracoon, the Agia Tree Monument, the Vlekete Slave Market after which they were hosted to Lunch at the VIP Chalet of the Lagos State Governor's Badagry Home.

The Edo State House of Assembly, on Monday, impeached its Speaker, Hon Justin Okonoboh. Okonoboh was impeached by lawmakers during Monday’s plenary in Benin City, the Edo State capital. The Speaker of the House, Dr. Justin Okonoboh, was impeached, following an impeachment notice signed by 16, out of the 24-member assembly.

Following his impeachment, the former principal officer of the House representing Akoko Edo I, Mr. Kabiru Adjoto, was elected as the new Speaker.

Three other members were said to have appended their signatures to increase the number to 19.

The Assembly workers were locked out while the impeachment lasted.

This is quite shameful. A Nigerian lady simply identified as Joy who is believed to be from Edo state has shared a footage of her kissing a white man "while on duty" on the streets of Italy. In the video footage which is currently trending online, the lady who was in an elated mood - was seen kissing and frolicking with the man publicly right on the streets as he excited himself by smooching her.

The young lady was proud of her action as she posted the video on her social media page for her "fans" to see.

A Nigerian soldier identified as Ojikutu Ridwanullahi - has urged fellow countrymen to have respect for soldiers and stop seeing them as the enemies. The young man who relayed his message via Facebook saying that the risks the gallant men (soldiers) take for country should reciprocated with respect and not condemnation. Read his message below;

Dear civilians of Nigeria this post is meant to change ur thinking towards us. Looking at other countries, people give respect to their soldiers and these soldiers are not working as hard as we. Nigerian Soldiers are not ur enemies, the enemies are Boko Haram and Militant.

We are facing dem for u while u run away from dem. Take for instance, if there is an attack u cannot go there but to run off the place to avoid death but we with just one life like u will run to it and make it stop. We can die as well because we have blood in our veins.
