laribari:with this mindset, im sorry, Naija no go ever ever better.. let forget about praying for Nigeria.. no body won die! the politicians go continue to dey use the country play football. The ones they are killing in Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba, etc...did they come out to protest? My brother, what is bad is bad.. It is unfortunate how few political class dey hold millions of people to ransom. Im sure with the level of under development in this country, if it were to be another country, the citizens for don engage the leaders.. for here we are coward Bro, those who are been slaughtered any how in Benue didnt protest o.. it can be anyone's turn bro.. No one expected the type of killings going on in Benue.. Those dying regularly in Bornu did not protest o or came out at the front... my brother, if u know how terrible this country is...u go understand that some people no mind to die while fighting our oppressors.. No matter how u want to see it: break up remains our best option but the political class will not let go...becus they make a living from the unity.. sadly, the average Nigerian is at the receiving end.. More unemployment and under employment to come.. more of our ladies to go into prostitution and more fake love to rise as politicians keep winning.. Make i find my way leave the country and continue ma freelancing there.. it is a failed shithole mehn |
tribalmall:Buhari should stop traveling abroad for medicals.. This is a welcome development.. But to be a complete person, when Buhari bleeps up, criticize him and when he tries, praise him.. Not that when he bleeps up, u go run away from the thread and when he behaves well, u go come back.. that has been our problem in this country: selective judgment |
So101:My brother, this same fear we have been having is over due jareee. Let the country tear apart. Arw we going to continue like this becus of fear of country tearing apart? It doesn't make sense to me na. Let the country tear abeg. The country sef no make sense as e be. |
walezy85:In a sane country,if I were to be the president or state governor of his state of origin, I would have personally traveled to meet him. First find out how much he makes currently. Then go with international negotiators and lobbyists. Look for a way to convince him to return home. Give him whatsoever he wants and need in order to start what he does in USA here. This is what right thinking leaders do all over the world. Our leaders only know how to blame the youths without knowing that they have greater roles to play in order to make Nigeria work. Every year Nigeria leaders keep talk ethnic based politics. It sad. I would have personally met with this guy and bring him home by all means. Even if it means borrowing money to setup what he wants to perform and deliver right here in Nigeria, I would have done so. |
So101:Most of the things Buhari say about corrupt politicians are also them say, them say. U don't have evidence outside what Buhari and ApC said. Amaechi did what other governors did. That state has money to be the best state in Africa. Just like I said, all the politicians are criminals Why didn't amaechi build world class hospitals in rivers as least to stop stupid policians from traveling abroad for mediacls? Jutst look at Buhari who made us believe he will stop medical treatments abroad but he is now the most traveled president to seek medicals abroad. My brother let call a spade, spade jareee. All of them are evil people. All of them. Buhari didn't rule us before? Abeg, they are all the same. Buhari boys are doing anyhow today. Go close to Aso Rock and see how nepotism, favourism, and corruption has eaten deep. Are recruitments into FG agencies not the same way PDP did them? Same slot sharing, same magu magu, nothing changed bro. What changed was just the name. Nigerians should wake up. If another party wins now, u will hear big big amounts they will call that APC members stole. Just wait and see. All of them are evil. Fashola made mouth that electricity is not a rocket science. I so much believed him but baba, electricity has become a rocket science now. |
So101:Do u have any evidence of corruption charges against those Buhari called looters aside what Buhari made u believe? Aside the news u hear and read every day, do u av any other evidence? Look i am not a supporter of any politician in Nigeria. God can never make me become such a low life to be supporting any politician in Nigeria becus they are all criminals. That is why I am not against what is happening to Dino. They are all the same. Only the corrupt job recruitment going on in this administration can make a reasonable person faint.. A member of Buhari's cabinet built a website for 78 million naira. Lol! Una weldone o. They never use 78 million build facebook sef. Look at Amaechi of Rivers State. Someone who spent 8 solid years as a governor of one of the richest states in Nigeria, what did he achieve in 8 years? He is now a saint with APC. Look at Orji Uzo Kalu, a ex governor of Abia state. A man well known is now a saint. Someone who may find it hard to enter Abia state becus of the way he managed Abia state. That state is backward today becus of his administration but he is now a saint with APC. I can go on and on. Bro, this has nothing to do with wailing. Pls, i am not a pdp or apc person. All nigerian politicians are criminals. Maybe u are on their payroll, u are free to support them. |
AnanseK:I can understand u have right to support anyone u like but it beats my imagination that u will make this comment about Buhari not corrupt. Like seriously? Baba, abi u don't know wetin dey happen for Aso Rock? Mehn Buhari boys are flexing naija money o! Don't worry, wait make APC leadership end at anytime and u will hear news of massive looting under Buhari It is a pity that some of us support these criminals. Bro, if only u know the rate of corruption going on now, u go weep except u are benefiting from it. If u know the corruption going on now, u go know sey the dollar sales by CBN to cabals was a joke. Lol |
yeyerolling:what u stated above doesnt mean that long leg no dey bro.. I dont like it when people try to hide truth.. He never said no one can get a job without knowing anyone. He didnt say that. he only shared his experience. Take it or leave it, chances of landing a job without knowing anyone is slimmer compared to when u have the right connection. At the same time, there are people who secured a job without knowing anyone. Just that few of such positions exist and the competitions are usually to the extreme.. Our society has gone really bad and we must tell our selves the truth before we can solve it.. Denying that what he stated above doesnt happen means we may never solve this issue. Just the way Buhari is hiding from reality. |
DSDLIVEREPORT:my brother, e no easy. Thunder fire our leaders and anyone supporting them. Legit hustle hardly pay well and responsibilities boys must meet too much for the country. U can imagine graduates earning 30k a month after years in school plus nysc. This is why must youths are now into crime. Naija politicians are so lucky. Most times i wonder if there is God. Why cant he just help wipe these leaders out from earth becus they av made many people to become prostitutes, robbers, kidnappers, terrorists, fraudsters, etc. Many ladies are marrying people they dont love just to escape poverty. It is unfortunate.. The few jobs that pay well are mostly secured via strong connection, the few ones on merit are dam competitive with few available slots... the ones mostly available pay poorly and u work like a slave in ur country.. wonder what benefits average Nigerians derive from Nigeria// Politicians are busy flexing and looting our public funds.. Nigeria is simply a mistake! A disaster and a pain.. Sorry to these guys! They will go to jail.. what a life. |
adadike:curse him but leave his generation out of this pls.. not fair on them.. they know nothing about this.. curse those directly involved. Many African families are suffering today becus of generational curses |
Contrary to the popular perception that government has no business with business, Mkpat Enin Local Government council under the leadership of Hon. Ekanem Brown, the Executive Chairman is witnessing bumper harvests from the various business ventures embarked by the present administration. From agricultural programme to shoe manufacturing, the present administration in the area has taken several bold steps to create employment opportunities, improve her revenue and encourage people of the area to take advantage of the very fertile topography for commercial agriculture. The latest in the series of bountiful returns on government investment is the harvest of cucumber and other produce in commercial quantity from the farms cultivated by the Local Government just two months ago. The ten hectare farm which employs over twenty local farmers and security guards was planted with an improved variety of cucumber seeds with a maturity period of forty five days. Just recently, the council boss, Hon. Ekanem Brown supervised the first harvest of cucumber from the plantation. The produce were harvested in commercial quantity and loaded in truck for onward supply to a waiting market. According to the consultant of the farm, simply know as Mr. Mike, about one hundred bags of cucumber will be harvested weekly from the farm for at least two months with market value worth millions of naira. Plans are also underway for a team of investors to set up a 150 hectare plantain plantation with two plantain mills. With the agric revolution, shoe factory, tourism and sports initiatives of Hon. Ekanem Brown, it is evident that he is leading the way amongst Local Government chairmen in Nigeria who are ‘thinking out of the box’ to solve the various challenges of their domain especially in the areas of job creation, poverty alleviation, revenue generation amongst others.

Fesomu:bro, that stuff was done local govt by local govt... and northern nigeria has more local govt and more constituency These two facts have been the major problem we have in this country and becus of that, we cant stop one of our number one enemies which is federal character No serious country uses federal character becus it kills away fair competition... but we cant stop it becus issues like ethnic domination is still a reality in Nigeria of today.. Bro, no matter what, proper seperation is the way forward for Nigeria... Nigerians are too insincere to run a unitary federal system of govt. |
Ladyhippolyta88:U get sense |
Divay22:I keep seeing reasonable comments these days by ladies on Nairaland.. e be like sey e don dey better aswear |
Gizer:First thing first: there should be resourcw control with royalty paid to central govt. Then state can take care of their own police. We can't continue like this na! Nigeria is too large for unitary federalism. |
makydebbie:That was exactly what happened.. she cheated on me with two guys and they were not even up to ma standard.. see, eh, i don learn ma lesson finish. who won love u go love u.. |
makydebbie:Just few ladies have this sense.. even many guys no even get this sense.. We think na money we go use buy love. I used money buy love but ma babe still cheated on me twice.. who love u, go love u. simple.... Our society is too material conscious and that is why corruption is too much, not just in the govt, also among the citizens. |
FECOSON:Na this yeye we must be one keep us like this.. Bro, humans cant be one. No matter how advanced we are as humans, we simply cant be one. Whites who are very advanced still practice racism. This goes to show that humans are naturally selfish... Best thing for this country is to allow for resource country. People will naturally love their region becus they are more aligned to it than the current Nigeria.. I dont see the need for FG to be richer than all the states. It doesnt make sense. Look, if we can change the system, Nigeria will work. The current over centralization of power in the centre is stupidity and can never make nigeria to grow.. Bookmark this comment: if Nigeria doesnt change her current unitary federalism, nigeria will get worst by 2050! |
Kheney89:It is exactly the skill I am offering as a Freelaner. It is done via Whatsapp. U can pm if u can. |
nerodenero:My bro, the companies alone in Lagos are enough IGR. The current structure of Nigeria makes other states lazy. If we can allow resource control and little percentage given to FG, other states will surely fight hard to improve IGR. The current system only favours lagos and the central govt. This system will never take Nigeria anywhere...even if u bring Trump, Obama, etc, Nigeria can never grow with the current system.. Comfort zone makes humans naturally lazy... Allow oil producing states to handle their resources and let other states hustle and find what can bring them money... as long as these states know that at the end of the month, FG will dash them money, they will never think outside the box. Lagos is not even doing enough. Over 95% of the companies in Nigeria are located in Lagos due to her proximity to water and heavy FG investment as ex capital of Nigeria. Weda lagos works hard or not, with the current structure of Nigeria, the state will continue to lead other states.. But if we allow for resource control, some companies would be compelled to move their facilities to other states where they operate fully.. Lagos IGR will go down.. This will force Lagos to work harder.. A restructured Nigeria will benefit everyone.. |
