stevedre:But that is madness..because Nigeria always invited some of our players who played in Tunisian league..and south African league..while I personally feel Egyptian league is more competitive than Tuninisian and South African league..I think there is more to it... Becus those two players shouldn't miss naija oo... That Stanley is a baller..including maruf |
CplusJason:Exactly ... He rescued them too against wydad in semi final. I just wish he is noticed.. |
CplusJason:U really sabi that guy... Exactly my point.. Very strong on the ball.. |
CplusJason:hahahahahaha.. I pray o.. he troubled their defenders ... him and that Egyptian winger Fathy! Players dey this life shaaaa.. My egytian friends kept telling me about him, i didnt belive.. they really love him in Egypt.. Until I watched his matches against wydad and sundowns.. I was like wow! so we av someone like this and we dey wait since for skillful supporting striker to help trouble defense.. I just wish NFA can notice him.. Egyptian league is big na.. there are big boys of Africa there... so they should notice him.. |
stevedre:Oh boy, u know that guy too? I swear, that Stanley is something else.. Mehn..I too like the guy. He is something we need in our team. That guy dey ball abeg.. They really need to invite him..he will trouble defenders badly.. |
Ugosample:Saying 'can never happen' is wrong...bro.. That those profiting from the structure of Nigeria are saying so doesn't mean I will say so... It is wrong to tell someone he or she must marry u weda he or she likes it or not.. In Tue first place...there was nothing like Nigeria.. This country came as a result of British greed... I support restructuring which the masses must be carried along very well and not the same greedy leaders o...but it is not nice to say...seperation must not happen bro.. They av every right to demand for that... |
Ugosample:I'm not in support of any Biafra...but I can't call them stupid people.. Never.. They av right to want to leave Nigeria.. There was nothing like Nigeria before.. Britain created this.. It is not by force to remain there.. The worst part of creating Nigeria by Britain is even the sad reason they created it...they created it to save cost and oppress the people.. Is that not nonsense act? I support a regional based govt and not Biafra but I can't call them stupid people ..becus if u marry and ur marriage is not working, u will think of divorce. That is the case wit Biafra agitation.. And what led to civil war was still majorly tribal saga...this tribe suspecting the other.. So...it has been wit us..it will remain wit us. North is not better than south....south west...not better than south east...east not better than south west.. Nigeria generally is backward...u sef know.. We av enough to be great... The only people enjoying the way Nigeria is are the politicians.. |
Ugosample:Bro...leave sentiments.. Elections are rigged in naija.. Nothing more ..nothing less.. Don't count on those things.. Well...there is no need we argue here.. If u are comfortable wit the way Nigeria is...I am not.. And many are not too.. |
Ugosample:If u read my points very well...u will understand that I'm not in support of seperation but we must not call them fools becus I love their guts..the country is not working.. U and I know that Nigeria is not working and can never work wit the current structure.. Nigeria was founded in falsehood.. Lies and lies..fake map calving, fake population, fake LGA allocation, fake many things...it can't work.. My point is...those people fighting for Biafra are not stupid..they av seen that the county they were killed to join has not worked.. If the country had worked...I'm sure..none of them would av been talking now..do u get my point now? In as much as u and I may not like their agitation but we should never call them stupid becus they are wiser..they know that they are not comfortable...unlike us who know that we are not comfortable but we prefer to keep quiet.. We are not wise na! The point is...Nigeria is divided.. U sef know.. Northerner can never unite to fight a govt wit the south.. Even in the south, some regions can't unite to fight a govt..and make I tell u the truth...a country where citizens can't unite to fight the govt can never ever work. This country is so sweet for political class.. They are the ones enjoying this structure.. The best we can do is to see reasons wit the Biafra agitators but in another dimension..we need a better structure...where u and I can unite to fight our govt.. |
davidif:Exactly my point bro.. Regional govt is better..do u know why we hardly hold our LGA chairmen and governors accountable? They aren't the only one who don't...no region in Nigeria holds governors and LGA chairmen accountable...it is becus...federal government is the highest spender and earner and controls how the economy feels.. The FG controls most things and if u meet ur governor , he will tell u he is waiting for FG..and u may not be able to do anything.. We need a system that can enable u and I to unite and fight our political class.. They are really enjoying this system very well..becus we can never ever unite to fight them.. But wit a regional govt or more state controlled affairs.. I can easily unite wit the people of ma state or region to question my state or regional govt. There is no place in the world where the type of structure Nigeria operates works..no way... If the masses can't hold govt accountable...nothing can work.. Now..that is why I keep saying it, those agitating for Biafra have every right to do so and we should never see them as foolish people .becus except u are in govt...Nigeria doesn't favour u.. Even if u are rich...u still make use of lister or generator which is noisy and not comfortable.. Even if u are rich, u still scared of been robbed..u see na? Nothing is working.. Biafra wouldn't av been talking if Nigeria had worked.. The best we the masses can do is not to hate them but use the opportunity to pressure our leaders to restructure the country to favour the masses.. These leaders are balling wella..their kids already saved and their future well planned.. Just look at countries without natural resources are making it while we are here.. Ordinary football league..we don't av standard league.. Nothing to be happy about Nigeria.. In other countries..during weekends...u av many things to catch fun wit...I mean standard things..swimming league...car race league...bike league...standard football league..basket ball, wrestling etc..graduates are not allowed to be exploited by foreigners...but in Nigeria..as big as Nigeria is...nothing to write home about..the way Biafra agitators are dragging other regions into this is wrong...but u know the regions they are talking about were still part of Biafra back then before the northerners used the divide and rule strategy which the British told them to use..but we shouldn't call them stupid becus I still love them for speaking out against this failed structure.. Our politicians are eating too much and u and I need to hold them accountable...we need to restructure Nigeria.. We can't continue like this.. See how Indians are exploiting us..our politicians don't talk becus they can't create jobs and begging Indians to come and exploint us...see how Chinese people using our ladies Ans guys..in our own land? What is sweet about being a Nigerian? Must one be rich before he or she can enjoy a country of his own? Nigeria is a disgrace.. |
onatisi:I'm not Stanley joor... I don tey for here.. I only like his style of play...very rugged and strong wit drimbling skills...powerful shots..he is good |
Guys... there is this nigerian guy that plays for Zamalek fc of egypt... my brothers, that guy is a miracle worker.. he is a star in making.. his name is Stanley That guy is something else.. I dont know where that club bought him from.. he is a striker and hard worker.. I swear, we need that guy to work as a supporting striker.. guys, try and google zamalek matches in caf champions league.. against Wydad of morocco and final match against Sundowns of south africa in egypt...watch these matches on youtube... that is something we need as well.. just watch him first.. South africans have not stopped talking about him Egyptians love him a lot |
omenka:My brother...dragging middle belt is wrong by the IPOd agitators.. Yes..but calling their demand stupid is stupidity on ur own part.. I am not and will never support Biafra..yes..even in my dream...I will repeat it...but I see reason in their quest for a country of their own... I understand.. My brother.. Una hatred for Biafra is foolishness.. They must not drag anyone into it.. The issue is...it is a choice...the people in those regions will decide if they are interested or not. I read ojukwu did that too...he first of all asked anyone who want to join Tue Nigerian led government is free to do so... And I heard some igbos joined freely.. But saying their demand is stupidity means u are stupid too.. Why? Becus there was nothing like Nigeria ever.. The British created this country becus they wanted to save cost and oppress us.. And they left the country like that...look at us today .Nigeria is nothing to be proud of and u know it.. U know it deep down but u may deny it becus u may think claiming that Nigeria is working means u are against Biafra.. I don't want Biafra but I respect and listen to those who agitate for it. But I still don't like the present structure of Nigeria.. It is meaningless and not working.. Hey guys...may be u are okay in Nigeria but millions are not.. No food, no house, no electricity, no national development...northerners are favoured in federal establishment more than other regions wit the excuse of educationally disadvantaged areas...u know all these.. I am not a hungry Nigerian...I AK educated...and I lice fine but I weep becus we are being cheated by this structure of Nigeria.. Is working against the masses.. Only if u don't av a heart that u will be proud of Nigeria... Have u gone to hospital to see how Nigerians are dying becus of simple issues that couldn't be solved? Many are out of school becus of no money while countries without wealth like Nigeria give educational grants to citizens.. I used federal roads few days back and I wept...we can't fly to all places..we are being cheated in Nigeria by Nigerians.. I want a better structure not Biafra but I can't call them stupid becus wat they are doing is understandable.. Let imagine Nigeria has really made progress since the civil war, I'm sure...no one would av been talking about Biafra.. My peace bro. |
Oblang:Bros...all the Nigerian masses who aren't gaining directly from the political elite are marginalized... Just that some people know how to hide their feelings and the igbos don't know how to.. Igbos are outspoken.. Allow them since the same people don't wana leave them to have their own country.. That yorubas and abokis who fall under the masses can bottle their pains...it doesn't mean everyone else must do same.. |
Oblang:U don't get the point and I wish u get it.. He was talking about politics.. Politics.. godfather type of politics.. Yes, igbos are not getting it well politically but I ask...the other regions that are getting it right politically, what av they gained ? What av they to show for it? Nothing... All regions in Nigeria are still underdeveloped.. A total failure.. Northern military men milked this country dry for decades when they ruled as military leaders and some of their mistakes are what we are suffering today.. So...why is everyone pointing at igbos as if the other regions are shining lights ahead? That is what I don't understand..I began commenting on this issue when someone here said 'no wonder igbos are bavkward' hahahahahaha..backward ke? That is a big lie.. Igbos av succeeded more collectively than any other set of people in other regions. Yes, national politics, igbos are not getting it rightly, and so? Those getting it rightly, what can they show for it? |
mystiqueTNA:exactly my point... and one guy was talking about igbos being backward.. lolz.. they think igbos traveling far and near means poverty in their land.. hahahahahha igbos are naturally adventurous and risk takers... that is what they dont understand... igbos dont simply accept A is A... they are naturally like that.. and that is what we need in Africa sef... our Politicians have used us too much and underdeveloped us a lot. Igbos are free thinkers.. and I dont know where this illusion that igbos dont respect their elders is coming from... some people are really need to travel. My bro... dont mind them here on nairaland.. |
harmbhrosz:This is where u guys miss it.. that they abuse each other online has nothing to do wit unity bro... igbos are well united.. igbos fight for one another.. forget all these online rant... in brotherhood.. igbos have a full community life style where they mingle and appreciate one another.. Nigerians are generally divided in politics.. and is a general thing in nigeria which the political class are using to loot us dry.. And forget life on Nairaland... nairaland can deceive u bro... things re not really the way they appear on nairaland.. |
harmbhrosz:Ask your self which region is really developed in Nigeria? What is the benefit of the so called unity when nigeria generally is as backward as anything u can imagine! The day some of u will cross nigeria to a developed world, u will curse the day they born una for nigeria. |
slivertongue:dont mind them.. if all regions can be as outspoken as igbos... this country would av gone far! They think pretense can lead anyone any where.. no wonder politcians are using our brains in nigeria... No region is developed in nigeria so, no region has the right to judge igbos.. look at westerners that need mercy of the lord or the northerners that are already miles back , what has the type of politics they play done for them? Nothing, it has only helped them to av more representatives at the national level... these same representatives eat and swallow their money.. I was in Ibadan recently and I wept.. Nonsense country Instead of everyone to be questioning these leaders, they are here pointing igbos this, igbos that.. enough of all these nonsense jareee... enter Osun state and u will weep for nigeria... I was in Nasarawa last year... it was like a town in the 17bc... what has worked in nigeria? Im sure many will still talk trash.. Nigeria is sick and not igbos alone.. |
VivianUdeogu:what misfortune are u talking about? Those regions wit godfather politicians, what have they gained? My dear, if to say other regions are like America now, I would av accepted this ur reasoning... Politically, igbos are not getting it fine... yes, but that doesnt translate to backwardness and misfortune.. igbos are still far more successful than most people from other regions.. who politics epp for naija? How developed are other regions that av good politicians who respect their elders? I av been to the 6 zones in naija and i av friends across the country.. No region is progress and igbos dont like to pretend... and igbos dont like thank u thank u thank u lifestyle |
MXrep:God bless u bro I av said it before that no region, including Lagos is developed... Nothing is working.. they keep making it look like igbos are left behind... hahahahahahah I can see the benefit of yorubas who love them selves... i can see how developed and DUbia like they are! Nonsense.. What they dont understand is that igbos are matching forward... |
obaaderemi:And how developed are these states u just mentioned? I tire for this country o.. I repeat... Nigeria is a failure.. No region is doing well.. If to sey these states u mentioned are as vibrant as Dubai, etc.. I can simply admit what u av just said.. |
Tolexander:But who told u igbos are backward? Lols... u people in Nairaland are comedians .. Igbos are not doing well in politics... yes but that doesnt mean the region is backward my brother... that region is more vibrant than most regions... I av been to all the regions in naija... aside lagos..Abuja, PH... nothing dey work relatively for naija.. What I dont understand is why everyone keep pointing at igbos and forget their own region.. hahahahahahaha.. if u say igbos are backward... also accept that nigeria is too backward na region inclusive .. That word 'backward' was wrongly used... pls.. dont come and paint a picture like other regions are like Dubia... Igbos are not doing well politically and it has nothing to do with backwardness.. I doubt if there is any region with more successful people as seen in south east. My brother.. withdraw that statement of backwardness jareeee.. u arent balanced |
anyone with dragnet questions and ans should help a bro.. thanks in advance servicetessy@gmail.com |
Justdulla:Guy.. stop being blind.. here ND feeds this country and has the right to have any resource allocated to it.. NE generates nothing.. Hausas have always been parasite.. they generate nothing much to this country.. e dey pain me sey my hard earned money will be used to build a region that fought becus of religion.. can u imagine? Some people regrouped a religious backward group to molest an administration and u want me to pay for that... are u okay? As if these guys will stop bombing them selves... I swear.. i wish I can stop paying tax to this country.. ND fought for resource control.. u cant compare ND struggle with struggle from some set of people who want to make a nigeria an islamic caliphate.. a religion that wana kill to convert.. people who believe in suicide bombing... U want me to pay for their foolishness? That bill will never see the light |
Kingsley1000:My brother.. I hate this kind of talk.. I hate this kind of bias and id*Tic patriotism! Make I tell u.. it is hard to find any citizens in this world that can bear what Nigerians dey endure all in the name of democracy.. Before a government will demand for what the citizens have done for her.. the govt of that country must av provided the basic needs of life... Electricity, standard transportation system, good roads, standard hospitals, standard educational system starting from pry to higher institutions, good financial facilities, they serve as role models, they must make u proud of ur country... when a govt fails to provide these basic needs, how on earth do u expect the citizens to deliver? One of the reasons things are expensive in nigeria is due to poor electricity! Do u know how much all these companies spend to generate electricity? Nigeria is a failed country.. This is why I dont blame those who sing about Biafra and no one has right to condemn them becus nigeria failed.. if to sey naija no fail... and some people dey sing about Biafra... then i can condemn them... there is absolutely nothing to write home about nigeria all becus of useless leaders both past and present. Abeg, park one side with this ur cliche of what av u done for ur country? Nigeria where dey rob and rape any how... where ladies are scared of moving at night.. useless leaders |
choose4me:Bro.. how far? No vex abeg.. This Azure account creation no be here o? I needed to create an outlook mail account and i av waited for the security code to be sent for over 4 hours now.. nothings.. I have tried all my 4 different network numbers.. they are not sending the security verification code...any suggestion ? |
NevetsIbot:Na dem sabi.. No allow her slap u again jorr ![]() |
Women don’t have monopoly of domestic violence. We tend to ignore what is also happening to men all in the name of domestic violence. Sometimes I wonder if the physical structure or advantage given to men is really a sad advantage or something to celebrates about. Many men are really weeping emotionally but are silently dying because of societal stereotype. Many men have been victimized by women and the society expects them to act calm. No way, if she hits you, hit her too, if she bad mouths you, bad mouth her too! Recently, there was a video that trended online where three ladies raped a man in South Africa! I followed the story up and realized that the man reported the case to the police but the police didn’t take him serious. They felt he was lying even with video evidence! They claimed he enjoyed it!! That’s how bad it’s it. According to a report, more than 830,000 men fall victim to domestic violence every year. Now, this record is alarming! We are ignoring this too. The report further stated that a man is the victim of domestic abuse every 37.8 seconds in America. These numbers are not inconsequential and the frequency is far from insignificant. The report didn’t consider countries like Nigeria where women use their tongue as their weapon. They easily bad mouth a man and lower his self-esteem. To lower the self-esteem of anyone is a serious crime in telecom business. Going forward in 2001, the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health collected data about the health of a nationally representative sample of 14,322 individuals between the ages of 18 and 28. The study also asked subjects to answer questions about romantic or sexual relationships in which they had engaged during the previous five years and whether those relationships had involved violence. According to the data, researchers found that out of the 18,761 relationships, 76 percent were non-violent and 24 percent were violent. Of the 24 percent that were violent, half had been reciprocal and half had not — reciprocal meaning there was violence inflicted by both partners. Although more men than women (53 percent versus 49 percent) had experienced nonreciprocal violent relationships, more women than men (52 percent versus 47 percent) had taken part in ones involving reciprocal violence. This statistic was undoubtedly the most striking: in committing acts of domestic violence, more women than men (25 percent versus 11 percent) were responsible. In fact, in the 71 percent of nonreciprocal partner violence instances, the instigator was the woman. This flies in the face of the long-held belief that female aggression in a relationship is most often predicated on self-defense. We can see that we are working with data here and not long held belief. Going forward, while injury was more likely when violence was perpetrated by men, in relationships that featured reciprocal violence men were injured more often (25 percent of the time) than women (20 percent of the time). Great Britain’s Office of National Statistics also showed that while 1.2 million women experienced domestic violence, 800,000 men did as well — in the U.K., men comprise 40 percent of those who suffer from domestic violence. The Department of Psychology at California State University, Long Beach, compiled a bibliography that examined 286 scholarly investigations, 221 empirical studies and 65 reviews and/or analyses demonstrating that which we are reluctant to discuss — the uncomfortable reality that women are as physically aggressive, or even more so, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners. (data source: Mintpress News ) Yet we ignore all these! The society expects a man to smile and walk away when a lady verbally abuses him. The society also expects a man to walk away when a woman hits him. The society claimed that a woman is weaker, so she should get away with her actions against a man. No, this is like saying that women should not face trial in court for crime committed. I was at a bar relaxing when a lady slapped a man because of a brief argument and the man wanted to hit her back but other men rushed and stopped him. When he became furious that the lady was getting away with it, he became extremely angry. Another guy rushed to him and gave him a serious punch on his chest, called him weak man and told him as a man ‘he was expected to walk away when the lady slapped him.’ Like seriously? Are you kidding me? I was sad for him. The lady went away with her shit! The guy was pissed and abandoned his drink. In so many marriages, wives easily insult hell out of their hubby. Their words get to their (hubby) nerves and they end up hitting the lady and you talk against these men, huh? You must be sick. We are all humans and we deserve respect from one another. Both verbal and physical abuses are against human philosophy and should be avoided. I can’t take it easy on a woman who insults my personality and pride. Worst is if you hit me. I was sexually molested by a full grown lady many years ago when I was in junior class but those I shared it with felt I'm was joking. If your wife slaps you, slap her three times. If she bad mouths you, bad mouth her too. You can insult me if you like.. is a free world.. thanks for reading.. source: http://www.icansayanything.com/2016/10/domestic-violence-against-men.html

Progressive01:Guy... u dont get it? Most people are not against buhari fighting these guys... but he is doing it selectively! U dont understand... he is using it against his perceived enemies.. it will clear in our eyes when people starts fearing him and refuse to criticize him and that will mean bad market for the democracy. For once, people should say the truth. What about those who work with him? Buhari is doing the right thing but with wrong steps. He is fighting his perceived enemies.. he may go for Tinubu if they completely fall out.. |
Stelvin101:Yea...not an achievement though... But im not from Imo state... i dont av strength for all that now.. i was in Owerri two months ago and i was shocked.. forget it bro.. that city try.. very beautiful and quite organized... i travel a lot bro.. i av been to north and south a lot... Owerri is very cool... clean and relaxed.. not noisy. I was shocked becus i av always gotten this negative perception about the city... but i doubt if it was this present governor that did the job there.. but that city is really beautiful and have roads channeled within.. with amazing structures... that city can do more if well promoted... i fell in love with the city when i visited.. i no fit lie u.. na city to have fun o.. oringo too much there...but u must carry money.
