Well, every true adherent of a belief seeks to promote his or her ideology, thereby directly or indirectly tries to decimate opponents of his belief. As a Christian in southern Nigerian, one does feel pain in hearing of persecution of Christians in the North, and if there is a group fighting for those Christians in the North, every true Christian will give them support. Truth is that missionaries and our colonial masters jointly came to christianize Nigeria, they did build schools to convert Nigerians to Christians. And that could be proven in their forcing Muslims to change their names before they could be admitted into the schools.

Not only that, they forced them to practise Christianity as against their wills. That was the reason why many Muslim parents of those days refused to send their children to schools.

During those years of colonial administration, there was little or no difference between the government and colonial masters, they were all British. Public fund were used to build schools in the name of missionaries. Numbers of Muslims were lost to Christianity.

For years, Christians enjoyed monopoly of power. Now, Muslims are gaining consciousness of their rights. They know that according to the country's constitution, you cannot be forced to practice religion that is not yours. And public properties is not for a particular religion. Their request to practise their faith is now being rebuffed by the deluded 'tolerant' bigots. And these bigots are crying that "they want to islamize Nigeria". How? By fighting for one's fundamental rights? After that you have christianize everything
