Na woah for Nigerians. If Indeed IBB meant what he said, i will see him as the best states man Nigerian had ever had. Since Independence we have never seen any past president that publicly regret any of his acts during his tenure. I read one article also of where he publicly asked for Nigerian forgiveness for the mistakes of June 12. That is unlike African presidents, they instead justify their mistakes even when it is obvious. This is a man who has acknowledged many times to the public his failures as the president. Why do we all see him a man who is mentally ill, just becoz he asked to correct his mistakes. What if he is genuinely regretting his action towards Abiola? What if he is genuinely asking for Nigerians forgive on how mishandled the nation for 8year in power? Lets not forget that this man is walking closer to his grave on a daily bases, probably might not wanna enter his graveyard with such regrets, guilt and hatred from the masses. For me i don't see a man who is mentally ill, but a man living a life with full of regrets, a man filled with guilt. So i don't see anything wrong in him trying to correct some of his mistakes or strengthening his ways. That is unlike any African leader. Kudos to him!!!. His boldness is against all odds. |
Culture / Re: What Is Your Take On Homosexualism? by princekevo(m): 4:48pm On Jun 02, 2010 |
I live in a country where homosexuality is legally accepted. Even though it is accepted legally lots of people still frown on it and believe it is wrong morally or otherwise. Personally, I believe we all have a right of choice but do you think it is morally wrong and where do you think it stands in our culture as Africans particularly as Nigerians We all have our right choice, including being a criminal, prostitute, etc. |

FMK: Listen Man, if you keep 2million dollar on the floor and put a sign Danger on it, tell me the truth how many people will jst walk pass it, due to love of money. It takes a wise man to walk pass it. The same thing with 2 barrels of wine. Your ability to say no/enough when due is what make you a wise man. That is why the bible said wine is Mocker whosoever is being deceived of it is not wise. Wise men knows when to say enough or no. I have met a lot people like that. No matter how many drinks you present before when they say enough they meant enough. When they wanna drink, they dont no matter how many drinks you present b4 them. though we live in a world where men are without principles, but despite we still got people with principles. |

fredo648: I guess you dont eat frog man, will it be a sin to prepared a frog to a Chinese visitor who visited your house? The answer is no. Where by you have no brewery in you house i wonder how a visitor can come to your house and get himself drunk. Meanwhile you can only offer what you have. If your do not drink alcohol i don't expect you to have one at home. Whereby u have non you offer what u have(juice/water/soda/ and if you any at home i see nothing wrong in serving your visitor with one even if you don't take it. |
Religion / Re: Is Alcohol A Sin? by princekevo(m): 8:32am On Jun 01, 2010 |
Krayola:I don't understand what your meant by this, can you explain pls? 9-11:Exactly what am talking abt I believe God deal with us individually and not collectively. That some people drink and get drunk, start misbehaving does not mean it should be generalised as sin. The manifestation of it is what matters. Some people get drunk, which might lead them into sin and i drink to relax at home before going to sleep. It is 2 different issues here. That is why the book of Proverbs 20:1 says Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Underline whoever is deceived thereby is not wise. It did not say whoever taketh it. So for some people to let wine or strong drink deceive them does make it general sin. I do not advice people to drink anyways becoz is very difficult to maintain the limitation that is why i mostly drink at home. That is also why some wise governments places high tax on Alcohols to limit its citizen from the intake. |

Religion / Re: Is Being Gay A Sin? by princekevo(m): 6:54pm On May 31, 2010 |
@poster It is not jst a sin, but an Abomination. I hope you know what abomination is if you are an African? A crime against nature. Now biblically let me show you what the bible said about gays and lesbian in Romans chapter 1. 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. I hope that is clear enough to tell you that is a sin, not jst a sin, but an abomination. That is why the bible said such people are already giving over to repobrat mind. Meaning they have no more conscience. |
Religion / Re: Is Alcohol A Sin? by princekevo(m): 6:29pm On May 31, 2010 |
This has been one of the controversial topic in the bible, which i have tried to search for the real truth. The only place i found in the bible that directly warn against wine and strong drink was in the book of Judges 13:4 and Judges 13:14 and this warning was directly by and to a single person, a pregnant woman, the mother of Sampson I guess. Another Important place bible gave a warning about wine is in Ephesians 5:17-19 (King James Version) Like some some people have already said, Drink wine is not a sin but the excess of it or getting drunk of wine. We can see the evil outcome of being drunk of wine in the new testament. Noah cursed a whole generation of his son out of drunkenness, Lot sleep with his 2 daughters out of drunkenness. I understand why some churches make as a doctrine, but not a sin, becoz many cannot determine the quantity intake where by they can get drunk, which might lead them into sin. So is better to stay away from it, just as Jesus said if you left hand will lead you into sin(hell fire) you better cut it off. So if you cant drink you better don't drink at all so that it will not lead you into sin. |

ElRazur: Please must you go any length jst to defend evil. Are you forming your own news or the same news as portrayed buy BBC and CNN. I never read any news that suggested the Civilians were carrying Grenade, petrol bombs. What other sort of weapons are you talking abt man, they got no names? |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel Fires On Unarmed Aid Convoy. Many Dead! by princekevo(m): 2:10pm On May 31, 2010 |
stiyke:This is not a flight man but a vessel. There is no how you can search even a cargo vessels without seeing such weapon as listed above. We all know due to the increase of ocean pirates many vessels, even cargo vessels are now equiped with securities incase of any attack on the vessels. Not even to talk on a humanitarian convoy, that was suppose to leave with securities. So telling me that abt 18 Unarmed civillians were killed jst becoz Isreali Comandos found such weapon as above on board of a vessel is unjustifyable. Lets not be blinded with sentiments here. ElRazur: Well we are waiting for him to release what these weapons are, but if it is jst the once listed above Man, Isreali's Comando's are jst a disgrace, they should accept and bear the responsibility of the death of these civilians. This is a special force trained for such situation as such, should have handle the situation better with less or no casualty. Killing up to 19 unarmed civilians could be termed as a target mission. |

na2day!: My brother, that is all bullshi.t are these the weapons you are talking abt or was there anyother weapons meantion by any other news? Israel says its soldiers boarded the lead ship in the early hours but were attacked with axes, knives, bars and at least two guns.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/10195838.stm Oh, C'mon, this is an Israeli Commandos we are talkin abt here if you understand what that means. How can the above listed be a resistance weapon that would lead them into killing 10innocent civilians on board? Mind you the convoy vessel must have at least securities which explains the fact of the 2guns found on board. menawhile this is the comment from a lady(a civilian) onboard the ship "We were not going to pose any violent resistance. The only resistance that there might be would be passive resistance such as physically blocking the steering room, or blocking the engine room downstairs, so that they couldn't get taken over. But that was just symbolic resistance." This jst like a military man shooting you aside(ordinary civilian) becoz you resisted him with a mere stick |

Am forced to ask if White house has issued any statement condemning such inhuman act perpetrated buy Israeli commandos. To make this world a safe place we need to call a spade a spade, if not we should wait for a retaliation from our dear Muslim to this issue ,and when it shall come i hope the white house wouldn't be the first to condemn their act. Am surprised that EU was the first to condemn the act and odered for investigation. After more than 12hrs from the incident nothing from white yet. |

Please jst tell me one single thing that your braveness has changed in Nigeria and i will tell you at least 5 things my cowardice has changed in Nigeria. People are dying of poverty in Nigeria coz of no food, diseases coz we have no good hospitals, On road accidents becoz of bad roads, out of crimes, coz we have no security. That is not enough death for you and OBJ until we all start dropping dead on the street so that you and your family will live to enjoy your loot without anyone alive to question you. We can see how you and OBJ love the Nation so much and ready to die for it, becoz of that you gave away Nigerian Inheritance(bakassi) to Cameroon jst to please your Task masters. Tell me in this era if a country without the 2 things you mentioned above is not as worst as being dead. With all your braveness and ready to die for Nigeria, the last time there was a rally in Nigerian i never heard you being among. We all know people who are ready to die for Nigeria out there, they don't come on NL making Noise as you do. So please stop making Noise here on NL. aderinsoye: There is no book the can cook abt this unless the case will openly go the way of others we have had in Nigeria. Tell me how they can cook the documents while 1. this girl already had a record with the Nigerian Embassy in Egypt of spouse Visa rejection based on his age ( Not sure anyways coz i dont trust Nigerian medias anymore). 2 She is foreigner and not a Nigerian and I believe Egypt is more advance for you to cook such book as birth certificate. 3. Moreover this girl must have had an international passport b4 she was able to visit Nigeria. 4. For the girl to be sent back to Egypt after Marriage until she becomes 18 is a clear evident that she was not 18 b4 the marriage contract took place in ABJ. So if they want to sentence the guy, there are clear evidences to do that, but as usually Nigerian court will clear him of all the charges and declare him innocent. I cant wait for this Cow to serve 5years imprisonment , what is 500,000naira? I want him spend some time in prison where they will disvirgin his a$$, let him know how painful it is for an under age girl to be disvirgined by a 56year old man. BASTTARD!! |

obailala: LOL!!! So in your mind you believe that Ibori will someday be brought down to justice with the current ineffective system? If that is what u have at the back of your mind i think you should be the one to wake up from sleep. Did you hear that Ibori is seeking for asylum in Dubai which i believe will be granted to him jst US and UK granted ribadu and El rufai. He will be there until his own paddy come into power he will be back to Nigerian and rewarded with a higher post. Dey there dey jubiliate in your half bread. Am not in support of any of this criminals if there is any one who would want all of them to be executed by hanging is me. But what is going on in Nigerian today is far from justice, they are jst playing with lil mind as yours. So that is why am in some way subscribing to the poster opinion, coz all these bulls.hit from EFCC are all wast of time. Moreover i don't believe in that your poor man philosophy of half bread is better than none. How long shall we depend on half bread? Those getting full bread are they better than you and i, or they got 2heads with 4 hands? Wake up man. |

There is nothing wrong with getting married at an early age. Most of us were married between the ages of 10-12, and nothing has happened to them. Now you can see bunch of female Cows speaking, and this is why some group of people wanna remain backward forever. So becoz they married at the age of 10 and 12 made it right for a 54 year old man to marry a 13 year old woman in this civilised world What is being done is that your husband will not touch you until you are mature enough. So how do they explain the allegedly 4th wife of Yarima who is 17years with 2kids. How would they explain her divorce by Yarima at the age of 17years to create a chance for the new 13years of Egyptian girl? BUNCH OF IDIOT.S!!! |

edoyad:Please are we blinded with sentiments or we have lost sense of Judgement in that country. Name one Northern man either dead or alive that ruled Nigeria for 2 consecutive uninterrupted republics. Am surprised that we are here comparing 8years of IBB as a military to 8years of OBJ in a democratic government. If we are to use a military governement as a comparism why do we then agitate and spend so much in maintaining the so called Democracy? Tell me any country in the world the military government achieved anything good. We are talking about someone that ruled a nation for an uninterrupted 8years under democracy, yet none of the basic human economic needs were met for 8years. A child of eight years man is no more a kid at least should be in primary 2. Are we Nigerians blinded or what? After 8 good years all we could get was all the excuses seen on the video above why no single basic economic needs were not met. OBJ was the first and only man who ruled this country under 2 uninterrupted republics since 1960, yet he could not fix one single basic need we have suffered from, since independence. After 8years of his democratic government, there is still no steady power supply, no water supply, no good Hospitals, even he himself still goes abroad for medical treatments. All of you sitting there in UK, US praising OBJ for his best, why don't you come down to Nigeria or send your kids back home to study in that best educational system he put in place during his 8years in tenure? I have been in this country for almost 4years i know where they were in the past 4 years and i know their achievement within jst 4 years. You will never believe what a small country that got no single natural resources has achieved in jst 4years. The changes are there to speak for themselves not to come to NL to campaign for them. If we dont open our eyes, we will forever remain blinded in darkness, because it cost nothing to see the light(truth). |
Politics / Re: Selective Justice Is As Bad As No Justice by princekevo(m): 3:04pm On May 27, 2010 |
Any one who doesnt see what is going on today in the name fighting corruption as a selective Justice need to wake up. I believe we have a law in Nigeria that described clearly what an act of corruption is. Why is someone being cleared of corruption charges in one government and being charged again of the corruption in another government if not for selective Justice. I thought by now it would be cleared to Nigerians that there is nothing like a fight against corruption in Nigeria, but a fight to get people under ur support and to be loyal to you. Yaradua came fighting for corruption, but the likes of Ibori were cleared of their corruption charges from OBJ governement, and the likes of Ribadu, El rufai flee the nation. Now coming back home becoz a new government has emerged which they are loyal to. Suddenly Ibori and Ogbulafor's sins are being remembered, soon Obgulafor will soon flee the nation like his fellow criminal Ibori until a new govenement emerges that is gonna favour them also. I thought Many Nigerians would have been wise enough to know that all things are jst BULLSHEET, and playing with the intelligent of average Nigerians. |

I dun tire for this kind Nigerian fans sef. You see Nigerian fans Solidly supporting Inter against Bacar, but cant jst give their new coach a benefit of doubt. B4 CAN 2010, Amodu told us not to expect a miracle, discouraging the fans and players even b4 the tournament. Now we have a coach who is putting our hope high, and to boost the players morals in facing Argentina, yet we complain instead of supporting him. Football has gone beyond the number of stars playing in the team, but how technical is the coach to make use of what he have. We all saw it in Inter-barca match. |

Why should we forget OBJ atrocities and IBB's annulment of June will forever be remember? Am not sure you read through what you jst posted, if we agree to the above as a leader can committ any atrocity just to meet his Goals. Why are we then against IBB, why are we against people like Ibori? Am not sure they were dumbs to all they did, they had a goal also. ~Bluetooth: With your political experience and knowledge in Nigeria please tell me Yaradau was the best PDP could produce from the north? 2. Please tell me Yaradau ever nursed the ambition of contesting for the presidency until someone convinced him to do so. 3. Oh we are now blaming his illness, when did Yaradua's illness become obvious, his term as the president or when he was the governor? I don't wanna go into his achievements within 2years he was in the office 4. What makes you think Atiku wouldn't have been a better successor, more experienced, mpre vibrant to a position/office he viced for 8years? 5. finally why would one man decided for 150million people who should be their best? Why didn't OBj conduct a free and fair election let the mass chose for themselves. Your single voice and OBJ is not the voice of the nation. Your opinion abt the 3 people you mention above and you own best candidate might not be the opinion of others. If we unanimously chose yaradua which finally failed we can then see OBJ as the best, but not seeing him as the best among the once he forced on us. |
