Looks delicious. I miss yam. Can't find it in my location. I miss crayfish, locust beans and palm oil too. Can't find it in my location either. I have access to onions and atarodo though. Hmmmm embarassed
Ugba/ukpaka is oil-bean seed technically. Locust beans na dawadawa (okpei, iru). But I hear you.

Do we have people that possess traits of both introvert and extrovert?
Everyone on this planet possesses traits of both for heaven’s sake. It’s not black-and-white. Humans are on a spectrum in every dichotomy. There are always going to be more than 50 shades of grey in the middle. That’s what makes humans diverse and interesting.

I spend my time indoor.Browsing, watching movies, listening to cool music, playing games. Tell me what beats that.

Am proud to be an introvert.
Kudos to you, g. Stop listening to all these silly f*ckers on here who wouldn’t know the true definition of introversion if it came up to them and gave them a free 200kg bag of rice. Those random idiots have no idea what the hell they’re talking about.

Am a guy and an introvert. But is it advisable to normal for a guy to be an introvert looking at the circumstances of our society?
Most introverted traits are idealised as masculine traits in the toxic mid.-20th-century mind-frame you’re talking about. Restraint, independence, reservedness and “strong, silent”-archetypes are “masculine” traits and they’re also introverted traits. Your tender, shy, sensitive (“feminine”) introvert is just one side of the damn coin.

Hitler was introverted as hell. He be beta? Most serial killers, nko? (Virtually all of whom are introverted.)

Gender has motherf*ck all to do with it. Kick all that silly crap out.

“I can’t deal with not being around people and giving immediate verbiage to my thoughts (even inappropriate things). What’s wrong with me?”

Lay person 1: you’re just a boisterous lad. Why would that signal a problem?

Expert: that’s how it starts. You might find yourself on the brink of a manic episode and stripping naked on the street next.

Introvert bias needs to get to motherf*ck. E no dey correct.

Scrap the syphilis thing. Both of them don HIV-positive.

That moniker in question’s suffering from a lethal hebephrenia-bipolar mania mixture as a result. Either way he wouldn’t know the truth about Igbos if it came up to him and gave him a bunch of flowers (carnations, most probably). I want to allow the kid but then I don’t. Let him be dragged across the board.

ethnicities that are indigenous to south east
Igbo
Ibibio
Igala
Ijaw etc
Other than the pocketful of Igala communities what exist on the northernmost peripheries of Anambra and possibly Nsukka, Igala is more of a middle-belt ethnicity than anything else. Ibaji folk can just about pass as Ezike-Nsukka-palm-wine-tapping hybrids but core northern Igalas are more like Yorubas and Hausas than anything else.

Where in the f*ck did you get the idea that Igala territory as a whole is entrenched predominantly in the south-east? Who told you that lie?

I wanted to believe the Ebonyians are Igbos.

The language of ebonyians is different from the Igbo language..
When ebonyi man speaks, Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra man will not understand and same way ebonyi man will not understand the language of the later, vice versa.
But the only understandable language uses by both tribe is the centre Igbo language which they (ebonyians) learnt..

We also have seen lots of occasions where Igbos called ebonyians osu...

We have also seen in many occasions where ebonyians said they are not Igbos...

Are the Ebonyians truely Igbos?
“When someone from the Black Country (West Midlands) speaks their conc. dialect, no-one from Liverpool, Manchester or London would understand them.

Are Birmingham indigenes not English on that premise? Is the second-largest city in England not an English city again by virtue of the fact that their local dialect just happens to be conc. as hell? Is intra-national diversity not supposed to be something to encourage rather than ostracise people for?

That’s it. And in contrast to banga soup proper, Igbos use nchaunwu (scent leaves) and the like for ofe akwu, not crushed bitterleaves (and, of course, no periwinkles go in ofe akwu, either). That’s it.

I must say something very important and that is that if you are not interested in making money and getting rich, you will keep drinking that garri everyday.

First you have to love making money and see it as your right to be rich and work towards it.

If you think making money and being rich is for people who already have money then you will remain broke. its mindset.

It is a mindset thing.
What about people who just want to be comfortable without talking a 101 course in financial economics?

Exactly. Someone who’s flat-out broke isn’t interested in hearing about assets and investments when they’re only able to suck garri once a day. Theoretical economisers need to bring their jargon down to Earth for the layman who’s just broke.
Investment › Re: Three Reasons Why You Are Always Broke by Probz(m): 1:25pm On Dec 04, 2021
I think the average person needs a more concrete approach regarding day-to-day spending. You don’t have to be a professional economist who knows all the corresponding jargon to want to know how to budget effectively.

You did contest the mutual Yoruba origins of the word and you know it. No-one was ever disputing that ogiri is Igbo. But you doubted that ogiri also exists in Yorubaland and you were proved wrong.

People whoa re not Yoruba will be arguing with Yorubas from the deep interior about what is Yoruba and what isn't, smh.

Yup. There’s being patriotic (within reasonable limits) and then there’s being senselessly ignorant and fanatical about the lightest of things.

Will an Igbo never be president of Nigeria because Yorubas and Igbos share a word in common? Will the world come to a halt? What’s there? (For the fanatical nationalists on here.)

no be only Anambra na Ebonyi you be....

Ogiri isi is an igbo word... Yoruba call theirs Iru

Deal with it oga correctness
Nah. Yorubas call okpei (which conc. Anambra Igbos don’t even regard as ogiri proper) iru (which Hausas call dawadawa). Ogiri proper (which is made from fermented egusi/castor oil seeds, not locust bean) exists in Igboland just as in Yorubaland. Okpei is not the same thing as ogiri proper (or ogiri Igbo) and likewise iru is not the same thing as ogiri Ijebu and the like (as the southwesterners use it). If it hurts your ego so much to admit that ogiri (not the okpei-dawadawa-iru kind) is shared between Igbos and Yorubas, that’s your problem.
