They don't. Anyway, you are good at spreading fake tales when it comes to people's identity, so why am I not surprised?? huh
So out of however many Okun people exist there’s not one who denies their Yoruba heritage? Not a single one? That right?

You are still arguing here like a dumbbell even after Okun people have come out to clarify that they are clearly Yoruba? Your silliness is getting worse by the day. Saying that an Okun man is not Yoruba, is like saying an Ngwa man is not Igbo.
Not saying they’re not but some deny it.

Hmmn...you are always inventing fake stories when it comes to the identity of other people. No be you, again? shocked Where did you meet the Okun people that denied being Yoruba? From which towns in Okun land?

I hope you realise that people like Dino Melaye, the late Sunday Awoniyi etc, are Okun people. They have never denied being Yoruba, o! So take it easy with your lies, biko.....
Just like there’s plenty of confused Enuani Igbos who deny it there’s plenty of Okun Yorubas who choose to self-identify as Okun first and foremost. Take it easy with yourself. You don’t need to have a heart attack over that fact.

Guy, you sabi lie, o! shocked I have never met an Okun or Kabba person, saying he is not Yoruba. Where did you meet the ones you are talking about? Inside your dreams? Or the cartoon series you deceitfully crafted in your mind? cheesy

As for the Egun, you have to go and read their history to know their origins and where they belong. Anyway, let me eat my popcorn in peace. I will allow those Yoruba people to come and give you a good reply. winkB
I’ve come across plenty of Okun people who deny being Yoruba to be fair. But I know what you’re saying.

Only time I’ll ever half-agree with you. Igbo identity no be by force to divergent groups.

Same as what differentiates asusu Yoruba from asusu Igala. Cousin languages yet distinct enough and not mutually intelligible enough to be regarded separately.

You tell me how much of Ekpeye language you really understand truthfully.

IkpuMmadu:
it's igboid dialect

This is the king of ekpeye

Eze Logbo II

Is Eze (Igbo word for king ) and that is what they call their king Eze ...or would you say Eze isn't igbo again..,

Clowns everywhere....now read about ekpeye and their villages and tell me if they sound Greek ....

All the time, the Ekpeye lived in towns settled by members of one, some or all the Seven original distinct families of Ekpeye – Imaji, Uchi, Agolo, Uzhi, Ishikoloko, Edyiwulu and Akpa. They practiced full representative democracy. But the challenges of the politics of colonial government forced in changes. First it was a pseudo kingdom established by one Nworisa Odu of Ogbele town who initially successfully challenged British entry into Ekpeye land via the River Sombreiro. He was pacified with recognition as the Eze of Ekpeye. He was later lured away to Degema, a colonial administrative center, where he died later in about 1890. Eze Ashirim, who became the first Eze Ekpeye Logbo, brought peace, publicity and pomp to the Ekpeye monarchy and with it came recognition by the Nigerian government and additional political influence in the region. Today (2006) the revered monarchy, is occupied by a retired Nigerian Air Force officer, His Royal Highness Eze Robinson O. Robinson, The Eze Ekpeye Logbo II of Ekpeye land. Although many monarchs in the region are usually hereditary, The Ekpeye monarch is one of a few which relies upon a democratic process in the selection of a new King. Every Ekpeye son or daughter can vie for the throne when it becomes vacant.

Get small sense naaa

-
Igboid, not Igbo. If it were Ogba or Izzi I’d agree with you but Ekpeye people are in a world of their own. It’s not by force to claim people who don’t want to be claimed.

You are not in position to tell you how he feels

This is what he approved ....Yoruba always claiming ...well he can use your language to make money of you

He is pure igbo from Ahoada in Rivers just after Ohaji

Burna Boy, born Damini Ogulu, arrived into the world on July 2, 1991, in Ahoada. He was born to Nigerian parents Mr. and Mrs. Ogulu, who raised him in Ahoada and later moved to Lagos State, where the performer completed his basic education. According to records, Burna Boy attended Montessori International School, from where he moved to Corona, Agbara, Lagos, for his secondary school education.
Ekpeye isn’t Igbo.

this is a result of prolonged physical and social interaction with other ethnicities as they are located on the extreme ends of Yoruba land.

their way of life definitely reflects that. same can be said of kwara yorubas bordering Niger state (Nupes), Kogi Yorubas (in a peculiar potpourri of another level), badagry in Lagos etc
but these factors doesn't nullify their identity in anyway
It’s only those with a third eye that’ll understand the significance of those differences.

Didn’t say that but it’s common knowledge that Ondo and Ekiti people are a very different breed of Yoruba than mainstream Yorubas. Several of their cultural and cuisine features point eastwards to say the least. At least compared to the more westerly Yoruba clans.

Ondo and Ekiti people aren’t far removed from Igbos at all. It’s no wonder Ondo people are lighter-skinned and better-looking than mainline Yorubas. Not to mention a few other shared traits across them and us.

My earliest predates this lifetime actually, reasons why I was born, planning for this life etc. Somehow the memories never left me (partial veil of forgetfulness) and have guided me up until this point. I pretty much know how my current life would pan out till the end and my life up until now has panned out exactly the way I was shown.

My earliest in this particular lifetime would be during my 1 year old birthday. I remember standing in front of my cake and seeing so many people in front of me which scared me so much that I started crying and ran away from the cake stand as fast as my legs could carry me. This was happening outside (in Port Harcourt) in front of the flat where we lived then and it was around evening getting dark. I ran behind the building then my father walked up to me where I was, smiling he opened up his arms and beckoned on me to come unto him, which I did. It was very calming and he carried me back to my stand.

I'm not saying the accent is fake, but for someone that grew up in Manchester, the accent sound more American-ish to me than something from the UK. Just saying.
Many confused Afro-Brits mimic more influential black cultures (aka Afro-American).
