RobbStark:You're totally ignorant! Opobo people bear Igbo names and do virtually most things Igbos do culturally and they share a mutually intelligible language with us. However, on the other hand, they have absolutely nothing in common with you guys except your ridiculous attempts to force yourselves on them during the time of old Rivers. |
Same thing I have been saying since! Anybody with brain knows this already but fools will always be fools. The very people that should ensure order and protect lives and properties are the ones trying to bring anarchy. They waste innocent lives just to prove worthless points and achieve godless aims. |
ShobayoEmma:Lol, you're really taking things on their face value, just like 95% others here. However, on the contrary, I'm seeing beyond the charade. Some people in high places are cooking something dangerous for Anambra state. Some politicians acting in cahoot with Abuja are the ones sponsoring the fake anarcy currently being withnessed in Anambra. I can hazard a guess that they're planning to cause so much killings and destructions to enable them force a state of emergency in Anambra. The calculations will be to remove the incumbent governor so he won't be on sit when the gubernatorial election is conducted. Under state of emergency, it becomes as easy as ABC for those politicians acting in agreement with Abuja to rig the elections in their favour. If the status quo remains, i.e. Obiano/APGA remains in power when the elections are conducted, Soludo will win easily but it's obvious that powers above don't want him. I put all the blame on Obiano anyway, someone like Wike won't allow others to manipulate his state for a predetermined outcome. He needs to do a state broadcast and rally the people along. He has formed Bakassi boys, but he needs the support of the masses now to succeed. |
CXLVII:Stop commenting if you can't make use of that gray matter in your skull. UGM obviously operated at some time earlier, particularly those that were after police check points. Those ones too are always careful so that innocent lives are not wasted whenever they're operating. However, a new sponsored UGM by enemies of ndi Igbo have infilterated and now wreaking havoc. Anyone who saw how hoodlums were being moved to protest venues in DSS Jeeps so they would attack real protesters and cause anarchy during endsars knows that the government of the day is evil. So, if people were hailing those killers in Anambra, they most likely did so out of ignorance. Anybody with money and connections can hire assassins of any ethnicity and tell them what to do. That's exactly what is happening in Anambra! It is clear that people in high places are seeing IPOB as a huge threat to them and they have become desperate to stop them, even if it means sacrificing innocent Igbo lives!! However, what they fail to understand is that IPOB only emerged to fill a vacuum. Even if they go extinct today and another will still emerge tomorrow because the need will still be there. |
One day the truth will come out but those that can reason critically can see beyond the charade and all. All I know is that the just shall live by faith and there is no peace for the wicked. |
Dissolve the country so we can experience growth, peace and development. Anything else will amount to nothing but suffering, deaths and destruction. |
It is totally irresponsible and ridiculous, and can only happen in shitty godforsaken country like Nigeria. Nigeria is an abomination to its creator. |
It still beats my imagination how these so-called unknown gunmen operate and with all the pictures and videos of them operating in the open yet they can't be traced? There is obviously a conspiracy going on by those that are mandated to protect the people. What is currently happening in Anambra is sponsored terrorism. With the current sentiments against unknown gunmen, if truly they're indigenous, they won't have any hidden place now. However, if they're sponsored they would always return to those that sent them and would remain elusive. |
Lol, it's quite amusing how the Kalabari people keep calling the Ijaws bayelsans It means they don't consider themselves ijaw and neither are Ijaws part of Rivers State ![]() In essence, Ijaw homeland is limited to Bayelsa with an outcrop in Delta and possibly Edo. However, the cult group known as IYC will always disturb our ears about how they're the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria and how they stretch from Ondo to Akwa Ibom You're the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria yet outside P.H and your homeland Bayelsa, one hardly comes across an Ijaw man anywhere else. |
This man is really playing with fire. You want to bring RUGA to Imo State abi? Except it's going to be in your compound anyways, let me see the community that will allow terrorists to be camped in their village. So after all the horror stories we keep getting from the North, this impostor is still hell-bent on bringing terrorists to our doorstep?? |
Even with strategic national asset like the shiroro dam there, the federal government still ignores them. No state of emergency, no anger or moves to wipe them out. The next thing we will hear is that shiroro dam has been destroyed and will require $2 billion to fix. Nigeria is a sham, know this now and have peace!! |
Even nairaland is has become so disgustingly compromised. Terrible and worse things are happening in the North but just like mainstream media in Nigeria today, no attention is being given to it. However, let anything happen in the East whether fake or real, and you will see it moved to front page at the speed of light. I'm not saying that killings or destructions that occur in the East shouldn't be reported but we know fake love when we see it. Those sponsoring the fake anarchy in the East are also the ones giving it massive publicity and everyone with brain already knows their motive. They want Igbos to go against IPOB/ESN since all other attempts at sabotaging them in the past has failed, so they use the gruesome assassination of our illustrious people as a ploy to pool wool over our eyes by claiming it was done by IPOB. They want Igboland to be unprotected and vulnerable just like other parts of Nigeria, so their terrorists and bandits can move in with full force and start slaughtering everyone like it's currently happening in the North. I pity any SW or SS person supporting these attacks and propaganda against East because once they achieve their aim against us, then you all will suffer the consequences too. If only you guys understand how things work in this country and the spiral effect then you will pray these terrorists don't succeed against Igbos. |
While Boko Haram terrorists and all manner of bandits are wreaking total havoc in the North, everyone ignores. However, the same people ignoring the carnage going on in the North are more bothered about East, not out of love by any stretch but out of wickedness and morbid hatred. What is happening in the East is nothing but sponsored terrorism. Yes, it's sponsored terrorism all aimed at destabilizing our region for inhuman and attrocius aims. It is common sense to note that IPOB or any other group that is Igbocentric will never go out to attack our people so senselessly and without any motive whatsoever. We Igbos have the worst set of leaders ever! Aside Abaribe that is never scared of saying the truth as it is,the rest are timid fools, they will see the truth but shy away from saying it out of fear of the North. With all the backlash against IPOB, if they're remotely responsible for the killings in the East, particularly Anambra and Imo, they would have stopped completely since they know the Igbos are now massively angry. However, the more angry Igbos get, the more killings occur in the East. Ask yourself, who has a motive and stands to gain with the increased killings in Igboland and once your brain is able to process it, then you will know those responsible for the killings and fake anarchy in the East. |
EasternActivist:You even have time for brain dead impostors. Some fools talk as if IPOB members operating in any community, especially in the rural areas are not indigenous to those places. They can continue decieving themselves anyways. |
Interesting! All these may eventually end in the redrawing of boundaries across Africa. It's gathering momentum. |
The whole situation becomes even more complicated and dramatic when you consider that the sahel/feudal/sharia North is also technically breaking away. Their elite in this region that comprises NW, most parts of NE and a section of NC are no doubt against anything that will break up Nigeria for obvious reasons, however there is a new monster that is rapidly growing over there, and it is riding on the back of Islamic renaissance, widespread poverty and Illiteracy to gain wide acceptance among the populace. Now their elite on one hand and government on the other, are on the verge of becoming overwhelmed. The import of these scenarios is that Nigeria is being torn to shreds in our very before! Warlords/ ideological groups are now carving out territories from what used to be known as Nigeria. Also, the Oduduwa people appear to be catching the drift and they've expedited their own movement and the more East and North moves apart, they too pushes in their own direction. In my own understanding, the federal government seems to be at a loss on how to contend with the chaotic situation facing it on all sides. Waiting for a new regime in 2023 to come in and make drastic changes will be too late. If Buhari and others really want to save Nigeria, they must call an emergency meeting with IPOB and Igbo leaders. At the meeting, they would holistically engage IPOB with a mindset to hear their grievances and then honestly assure them how they would be taken care of. Even if it means granting Igbos semi autonomy, state apology to Igbos, redress of percieved marginalization and presidency in 2023. Personally, I'm indifferent to what direction things eventually goes. |
Reports emanating from the East shows that corporate institutions like banks, schools etc are hurriedly removing Nigerian flags and other things that identify with Nigeria. On the face value, some people may want to gloss over it as nothing but if you think critically and consider other factors, you will realize that Nigeria is fast being hacked to pieces. Already, the authority of both the federal and state governments no longer count in the East while that of IPOB is fully complied with (whether voluntarily or compulsively is story for another day). One thing has become certain and that's the fact that the separatists are clever, far smarter than the pro Nigerians. The IPOB has consistently continued to erode the corporate identity known as Nigeria and while they've remained proactive, the government has remained pathetically reactionary. On the global scene, more and more Igbos continue to identify with Biafra and the awareness by them is now at an all time high. Also, across Igboland, the overwhelming majority tend to be in support of break up. This situation appears to be leading to closing of ranks and forming of a critical mass. If things continue at this pace, a time will come when elected government officials will have no other option than to support Biafra in Igboland! |
It seems many people are not understanding what is going on or actually hiding their true feelings. Before our very own eyes, Nigeria is fast breaking up! Territories are gradually being carved out across the country. IPOB is carving out Igboland, Islamic fundamentalists are ideologically carving out core North. Very soon Oduduwa will want to follow suit across Yorubaland and Ijaws too. Anyone still believing that Nigeria can't or won't break up must be very myopic and thoughtless. |
obiekunie01:God bless you for this! It has become obvious that guy certainly has a hand in the killings going on in the East. Every hands should be on deck in making sure he is apprehended and made to answer questions about all those killings he has first hand information about. If Nigeria is a functional soceity, that udele or whatever his moniker is ought to have been arrested a long time ago. This is not the time to keep quiet or act less concerned because everyone is at risk now. All Igbos must rise now and collectively do our bits to ensure that these killings stop. |
lalasticlala:Desperation and stupidity may eventually sink Nigeria before its due date |
mrvitalis:I have been asking myself the same questions and the answers keep pointing in one direction. Some people in high places are seeing Igboland as the last major resistance to their evil plans and they're doing everything in their power to turn the tide. |
I'm not holding brief for IPOB or ESN, but why would a group that claims to be defending Igboland now turn around to be killing same Igbos? Does it make sense? Which people are nationally known for always attacking people in highways, farms and villages?? Dr. Agbalanze lives in Enugu, I believe IPOB operates across the entire SE, so if they're after this noble man, why would they wait until he travels to Anambra before attacking him? I'm only trying to make sense out of a totally senseless situation. |
Just like other Nigerians, I woke up to hear that Dr. Agbalanze, late Dora Akinyuli's husband has been assassinated. Suddenly too, without any form of investigation being carried out, they claimed that it was IPOB that assassinated him?! First question any sane mind would ask is, why on earth will any Igbo group want someone like Dr. Agbalanze dead? He is not a politician, he has never involved himself with the politics of Nigeria or secessionists, so what could possibly be the motive? Non!! However, fulani herdsmen terrorists are currently on rampage all over Nigeria, killing and maiming innocent people with reckless abandon. Only yesterday, a former naval cheif was kidnapped in Lagos. Few days ago, scores of people were massacred in Southern Kaduna. Today, 9 people were reported murdered in Benue. Before this week runs out, there would still be several of such news happening all over Nigeria by same culprits. So, why is it that when same thing occurs in the East/Igboland, they give it fancy names like unknown gunmen, IPOB or ESN??! Again, once there is any killing in Igboland, they will hurriedly claim it was done by IPOB and give it massive publicity. I smell rat here, and every concerned Igbo or Southerner should too! The fulani herdsmen terrorists have gone beserk across Nigeria and no one is safe anymore. It's obvious that some interest groups are trying to call a dog a bad name so they could conveniently hang it. However, IPOB people should also go beyond and above to prove their innocence. Your words of denial against their words of accusations are not enough! You guys need to do all you can to apprehend or expose the perpetrators of these heinous crimes in Igboland. To all Igbos, silence is no longer golden because anyone could be a victim now. However, one thing is certain, we can't continue like this and never should we allow our peaceful region to be turned into a mass killing field like North. Giddygiddy Slayer forever Igboid Loveth Afam4eva Bkayy Fadiga etc |
survivor10:They're desperately pushing an agenda here and only bastards will be fooled. It is obvious that fulani herdsmen terrorists killed Dr. Agbalanze, late Dora Akinyuli husband but they're desperately trying to pull wool over our eyes. Ask yourself, all the killings currently going on in the East, North and West with same culprits being responsible but once it happens in the East, they term it IPOB and give it massive publicity. The question that is always asked whenever a crime is committed is; what is the motive? Now here is a link to a fresh attack that occurred in Benue with innocent lives wasted yet they're hiding the news just to push a wrong narrative and nairaland is helping them! https://www.nairaland.com/6777188/armed-herdsmen-kill-9-traders#up |
Fulani herdsmen have gone beserk all over Nigeria. Southern Nigeria must wake up now and defend their lands from these murderous barbarian hordes. They're now killing and kidnapping people everywhere. They earlier assassinated Dr. Agbalanze, late Dora Akinyuli husband in Anambra today now they've attacked Benue, yesterday too was a high profile kidnap in Lagos. Few days earlier was a massacre in Southern Kaduna. When is enough going to be enough?! If you're from East or West and you chose to believe all the lies and propaganda by those trying to pull wool over our eyes, then you're doing yourselves because right now, no one is safe! Lalasticala Mynd44 Won't this thread be moved to front page? 9 innocent lives were murdered in cold blood and the news has been confirmed, so why is it being hidden away from front page? Or do people have to link IPOB or ESN to it for it to be worthy of front page?? Why all these double standards and propaganda? Is nairaland compromised too?? |
The last thing we Igbos would allow is for our region to be turned into a killing field like North. No, that should never happen! These herdsmen terrorists have destroyed North totally and now they're trying to invade South. Igbos really have to wake up. The death of Dr. Agbalanze, late Dora Akinyuli husband is a huge loss to us. My heart bleeds! |
triple996:Then they will ask questions and he would proudly tell them about Biafra ![]() That's actually his intentions and they will get the message. We are already projecting Biafra pending the final demise of Nigeria. At least, prognosis shows that Nigeria is suffering from a fatal sickness that can't be cured, so it's wise for everyone to start preparing for life post Nigeria. |
Nigerians can be very hypocritical in nature, a country where kettle will openly call pot black without any shame. A country where some people will destroy beer because it is "Haram" and still fight to receive VAT from beer. A country where people living in the sahel fringes of sahara desert, thousands of miles from any coast will come out in the open and call those living close to the oceans landlocked ![]() I have studied Nigeria and I came to the conclusion that North is actually the dot with no where to run to. Let's pause for a moment and imagine that South breaks away today, with the gory and chilling news daily coming out of North East and North West, where will these guys run to, when South finally closes its border against them? NE is almost totally overran by terrorists. NW is now under heavy attack on a daily basis. If/when we finally close our boundaries with North due to security threats, won't these guys feel totally trapped? You try to excape through NE/Borno axis and you fall into the waiting hands of Boko Haram and Iswap. You say okay, let me excape through NW only to find yourself surrounded by bandits and terrorists under different warlords. Buhari is like a crippled man laughing at a one legged man. No be foolishness be that ![]() |
Faiththatworks:See as you don open mouth waaa, yarn opata full every where. So you're more concerned about hiding the truth so you can win the propaganda instead of accepting the reality?? It is this same weird thought process that is making our media not to report all these carnage going on in the North. You think you're doing anybody? No, you guys are doing yourselves ![]() |
