For over 50 years now, the Igbos have endured a lot of embarrassments and slurs thrown at them by the Ikwerre clan. Despite all these unwarranted and undeserved attacks by the Ikwerre, Igbos saw them as a misguided brother who was brainwashed by enemies. At a point, it became shocking at how they will go to extreme lengths to concoct lies and fallacies just to sabotage and humiliate us, while we kept extending the olive branch with the hope that they will realize their folly but it has become obvious that they're now misconstruing that for weakness. It has now become expedient for us Igbos to wepu obi na azu, ma were iwe mee ndi iberibe a ezigbo ihe ha n'agaghi echefu echefu. Anyi eriala nsi, ma nara kwa nkpari n'aka ndi uchu a n'enweghi ebe ha ruru anyi. So here are the 7 reasons why we Igbos must act now for posterity sake. 1. Abandoned property When the war ended in 1970, the Igbos were totally down in every aspect. Our economy was wiped out. Millions dead. Our cities destroyed. In essence, we were at our lowest nadir in recorded history and had nothing to fall back on. Now, this was the time, the Ikwerres decided to attack us for no just cause. They declared Igbo properties abandoned and took them! As Igbos were returning back, they were shocked to discover that Ikwerres (with the support of Nigerian government that was still looking ways to humilate us further) had taken over their properties. Such a thing has never happened anywhere before. Even the Northerners we fought against didn't seize our properties in their cities and neither the Yorubas or anywhere else but it was the Ikwerres that did such evil against Igbos. Till today, people's hard earned properties were never returned and they never appologized. It is only the worst enemy without conscience that could do this. |
They can go already. We now have enough Igbo brands that can effectively replace them. The likes of Next, Everyday, Market Square and several others that are available in major cities. Although we appreciate them for creating the awareness ![]() |
Zooposki:Envious losers from the waste. SMH! |
MightySparrow:It is Nigeria that created the Babel society for politocal reasons. For instance, every community in Rivers State is termed an ethnic group but in reality the state has just 3 three ethnic groups. Same applies to other areas. |
IkwerrePikin:You're nothing but John Snow i.e. to say, you know nothing about Nigeria's politics. Amaechi becoming president will not solve any problem and neither will it help anyone. Unfortunately, for him, he belongs to a minute minority in the SS. Fact 1. The North will rather support an Igbo man and hope his presidency could quel the separatist moves that is gaining serious momentum, on the assumption that Igbo presidency will convince Igbo liberals and the undecided to support Nigeria and cutoff the vociferous IPOB fanatics. That is why you see them promoting Orji Kalu and some other Igbo politicians they feel they could control. Whether they would achieve their aim or not is what no one can tell. Fact 2. The North may decide to support another Yoruba man who is considered likeable but weak such as Osinbajo and pair him with a fanatical islamist. They will never support someone like Tinubu because they've learnt their lesson with Obasanjo who almost relegated them to the background. Fact 3. Amaechi does not belong to the part of Niger Delta that can fuel militancy and bring oil production to zero. To worsen matters for him, he is neither here nor there. Igbos have rejected him as not belonging to their ethnicity while his Ikwerre clan are angry at him for denying them and claiming to be Igbo. Worse still, he has no blackmail value by virtue of belonging to a minute minority that could be silenced within 24 hours. The Igbos, Yorubas and Ijaws all have blackmail values and the North are always afraid of those that could threaten the system. An Amaechi presidency will lack the support of Igbos, Yorubas and Ijaws, which means these groups can always threaten the polity irrespective of Amaechi occupying Aso rock. He has realized this and that is why he is desperate in claiming to be Igbo even when we reject him. Lastly, the loan deal with China that is currently causing uproar will mess up whatever little chance he could have had. |
meccuno:Lol, don't mind the losers. Just pause for a moment and imagine that the abokis equally ceded Ohaji Egbema to Rivers State, same way they did to many Igbo communities, they would have been answering Ohaji Egbema ethnic nationality, and you will be hearing tales by moonlight stories on how they migrated from Benin and were forced to abandon their language, culture and tradition by the Igbos The stvpidity of some Black people is so disturbing. SMH! |
post=92369565:Imo GDP will definitely rise once this massive gas plant is completed, especially considering that the oil refinery is almost completed too. This is so cool ![]() |
Very impressive I must say. Ndi Igbo na agbasi mbo Ike. Now watch and see how those from the waste who perennially feel threatened with Igbo exploits. |
Gabkosh:Abobaku, your coward Awo died a frustrated and miserable man. Lol, so committing suicide is now a brave act? Only in afonjaland. How would Ojukwu killing himself or surrendering to Nigeria have helped him or Igbos? Do you even know the psychological blow that would have had on Igbos if Ojukwu was captured or if he had killed himself? Between Awo that slavishly fought for the North yet was humiliated into committing suicide and Ojukwu that went on exile and later returned and died at old age, and was given a state burial? |
anungangampu:That is what they fail to understand. Ojukwu knew the odds were stacked against him. However, doing nothing after tens of thousands of our people were massacred in the North in the most heinous manner would have forever made us total slaves in Nigeria. It would have emboldened the North to see the South as conquered territory that will stomach whatever shit they shove down our throats. Ojukwu showed them that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. That is how it is naturally, otherwise others will subdue you forever. Yorubas suffered humiliations too considering that Awo was jailed severally for no just reason. Ogundipe was chased away when he was supposed to take over as military head of state. The Western regional governor was killed yet in all these, they never challenged the oppressors. Even today, the only tribe the Fulanis are wary of is the Igbos, and that is why they're always rallying others against us. |
Sammy07:Lol, I always tell them that only a few people outside nairaland and Rivers State knows what is Ikwerre. However, they're fighting hard to use their imaginary fight with Igbos to gain attention. Igbos don't care where they chose to belong. They can claim to be Bini or even Fulani but the funny thing is that they still use our name, culture and tradition and when you ask them why, they will start telling you all manner of childish fables. Ndi eriri eri ![]() |
kettykin:Na their way, they will be crying about the system and hoping that others with courage will fight it while they hide in their caves waiting to join whichever side is winning. That's what they call sophistication even though it is cowardice |
Haywhysat:You're not getting it. Awo had a cult-like following in the West during that period. His words alone would have galvanized his people into action. If he had told them to do everything to stand on their own, the story would have been different. But he failed to provide the needed leadership for his people at that critical time. |
The popular axiom that cowards die many times before their actual death holds true for Awo. After independence, he was always harrased by the same North and humiliated by being thrown into prison for no just reason. He never enjoyed peace despite all his support to those that earlier messed him up. The same Ojukwu that fought the system and Northerners fearlessly still outlived him and when Ojukwu later died, he was buried like a national hero but Awo had to die like the coward he is by taking poison when he realized that the North was going to throw him into jail again, this time for life. |
Awolowo was a very hopeless and selfish man. He has no reason to complain because he knew from day one that Nigeria has no future and would forever be a disaster, at least his statements about Nigeria being worthless were documented but what did he do when others like Ojukwu realized same and made the bold move to break up the useless contraption? The same Awolowo started giving all manner of excuses on why he couldn't join forces to liberate his people and give them a bright future. The coward claimed that Northern soldiers were stationed in Lagos and Ibadan thus there is nothing he could do. He even added that if East is allowed to leave Nigeria that they will also be allowed to leave. You see how evil his thought process is? He lacked the guts to call for break-up yet he was willing to rain on the parade of those who risked everything to challenge the status quo against all odds. Awolowo is a terrible coward and opportunist who contributed a lot albeit due to cowardice in entrenching Nigeria and all its failures and disastrous existence. Considering his cult-like following in the West, if he had called on his people to fight for Oduduwa or at least not to support Nigeria in the war, it would have gone a long way destabilizing the Northern controlled government. However, he still turned around to join forces with the same people that have always humiliated him to fight against the East in order to entrench the same Nigeria he knew was a disaster and hopeless contraption. Maybe, if Awolowo had some balls just like Ojukwu, no one would be in this current disaster and hopelessness we have found ourselves in Nigeria. I'm happy he died a shameful death, as a frustrated and sad man, and wasn't even buried with honors despite all he did to support the contraption out of cowardice. |
2cribz:You really must have lost your mind to be saying all these rubbish. Serious buyers are already on my WhatsApp negotiating and a brokeass nigger like you is here yarning opata. All the pictures both interior and exterior as well as VIN number is available for serious buyers. Go fvrk yourself!!! |
NaijaRoyalty:Don't be surprised they used 100% of the assets in the SW as collateral even when the loans were spent more in the North than the SW. In Osuofia's voice, na you be the mugu.. I be the master ![]() |
They gave you railway and in return, collected both the railway and the lands and other assets. China must be a very smart and cunning country while Nigeria is the mugu Thank God that non of the loans was spent in the East, and we Igbos even wrote to many global bodies including China to reject it at that time. You see how Good works in mysterious ways ![]() |
Oga, it's too late to cry over spilt milk. 50% of your lands is gone already. To make matters worse, there is nothing you can do about it. The Chinese have no conscience, once the time is up, it's all over ![]() |
Notasyouthink:I don't know why they will show you light only for you to leave it and be groping in darkness. Now, let me break it down for you so you can get it clearly. Let's even assume or agree with you that Ikwerre is Igbo. Now, draw a parallel to this. You're a father who has many sons. All of them respect you and do things that bring honour to the family except one who has brought nothing but disgrace and dishonour to the entire family. The more you try to discipline that particular child, the worse they become and even now see you as an enemy. He now celebrates all those that did you wrong and even shoves it in your face. The child wouldn't mind to join your enemies to destroy you once he gets the slightest opportunity. As a wise father, what will you do? Even considering that you have many other sons that have brought glory to you in many ways while this particular one has never contributed anything positive to the family? Will you treat such evil child with kid gloves or as an enemy that must be tackled by all means necessary?? |
chrisblack:Only a gullible person or a child will call Ikwerre Igbo. We Igbos have nothing in common with Ikwerre. Yes, they can use our language and tradition, but that doesn't mean sh!t. They're a minute minority and maybe that's why they lost all their Bini identity and started using that of Igbos even when other minorities that have interacted more with Igbos all retained theirs. The Ikwerres are too insignificant for Igbos to bother themselves over. The same way I see Fulanis is the same way I see them. I even regard the Yorubas or Ijaws or Ibibios or Hausa as more friendly than the Ikwerre, at least non of them were as wicked and evil as these guys who decided to seize Igbo properties in P.H at a period Igbos were totally down due to the civil war. Any Igbo person that sees Ikwerre as a brother is totally insane!!! |
iyaegin:I can show you better pictures of interior and exterior. The one I uploaded is just a screenshot and it isn't clear enough. |
Hurry up if you're interested because I can't guarantee how long it will take before it is bought but I'm positive it won't be long. |
This Camry was just cleared a couple of days ago. It came in from New York. Direct Tokunbo and very clean. The asking price is just 3.5m only for the lucky buyer that comes first. I am not a car dealer but trying to help the sender who is my sister to sale it off. The price is relatively low compared to what car dealers are selling. Her cars are always cheap and it is always snapped within a short time. Others are coming on the way too but this is the one that just arrived. The location is Lagos. You can reach me through the contact on my signature.

I'm not impressed. Okezie Ikpeazu and the others before him are local men who can't rise above mediocrity. Look at how the factory looks like a packing store They can't even paint the walls and make it look decent. Iberibe gbukwaa unu there. Nonsense! |
Notasyouthink:Stop being unnecessarily stubborn. Ikwerres are not Igbos. Forget about the similarities in language and culture they borrowed from us, it is nothing, they can use it. In the North there are many minorities using the Hausa language and culture even when they're not Hausa. Ikwerres are from Bini and even their lifestyle should tell you so. Do we Igbos behave the way do? There are lots of Igbo groups in Rivers State but Ikwerre is not one of them. We have nothing in common with them. |
Blackking98:Lol, who dash monkey banana. Why would they ask anyone to leave P.H? The question is, do they own P.H? P.H like Warri is jointly owned by three different groups and no particular group can lay claim to it. The Ikwerres don't own any significant town or talk more of city. What gives people the impression that they own P.H is due to the large Igbo presence that makes it seem like Ikwerre owns the city. Their parents lied to them that it was due to long periods of interacting with Igbos that made them to lose their Bini language and culture. Yet we Igbos have interacted with Ibibios, Anangs, Efiks, Ijaws etc. and they all still maintained their languages and cultures till this day. |
Bkayyy:They were not just lucky but they've been riding on the back of the huge Igbo population in the state as well other Igboid groups that allow them based on the spirit of brotherhood that made it seem like they're more in number. However, by the time they completely expose themselves as Bini people, Igbos will have no choice than to rally round our Igbo brothers in the state and give them our maximum support. |
Blackking98:You're even overestimating them. They're sharing some of those LGA's with other tribes and coupled with the fact that parts of P.H lies in their community that is why they have more LGA than they ordinary should. By population, Ikwerre won't have more than one LGA if not for P.H. Yet the dude is comparing it with Ibibio that makes up an entire state and also found in Cross River as well as large communities all over Nigeria. Secondly, Ikwerre people are naturally laid-back and go-lucky people who hardly ventures beyond P.H. They would prefer to be selling land and reselling same lands to unsuspecting buyers while their youths will be roaming about taxing petty traders or oil companies to give them stipends. SMH! |
Uchasa:Lol, look at this one. You're just decieving yourself. Ikwerre is a minute minority, more like a clan! You're even claiming to be more in numbers than the Ibibios?! Are you kidding me? There is no city you will go to in Nigeria that you will not find Ibibio people. They're easily recognized outside their state, be it in Lagos, Abuja, Kano or all over the SE. However, go outside your state tell people you're Ikwerre and see if a good number of them won't ask you what is Ikwerre ![]() I can even bet you there are more Igbos in P.H than there Ikwerre, you guys are that small. |
FrMbaka:I live and what you said is the truth. During the brief period Ihedioha was governor, I usually see him driving past and how the people will always wave at him, but since Hope took over, I have never seem him in public. I only saw his deputy once where he was inspecting the isolation centre and no one paid him any attention. It is obvious that Hope knows he is not loved by the people and he is avoiding them as much as he can ![]() |
wesley80:Why are you so bitter because Imo people love Ihedioha? When you see a rented crowd you will know, but these are random crowds surging out of homes, offices and markets to celebrate a leader. I have not seen such genuine love by the masses on a leader in a very long time. |
