There are two things involved
1. Is either d girl was no more a virgin then or

Under the child rights act of 2003 the age of consent is 18 years mr man.
Read section 31 of the act.
This event happened way back then not now.
Sexual offences bill is different from the child rights act also not all states have implemented the act.
Besides Nigeria has some conflicting laws hence what applies in the north(some parts) cannot apply in the south.

Under 18 is a minor sex with an underage is non consensual and it is statutory rape whether or not she agree to the act. Whether teenage girls have sexual partners is not the issue if the sexual partner is sleeping with her under 18 he is raping her.
You have no idea you have not heard the stories of rape victims children are abused by family they see them and greet them everyday and still have no courage to speak out because of fear or lack of support from loved ones.
Anything is possible when rape is involved we react differently to trauma.

Majority can condemn like crazy, until they av a taste of what the victim is going through, then they will keep quiet.

Robbers came to rob my ex fiance, who loves bragging of how wealthy he is. Fortunately one was caught and guess what? The robber confessed it was his family friend's wife that gave them the tip off, that he's coming into naija with lots of money to complete his duplex.

Police tortured him blue black before he confessed.

They quickly went to arrest the wife. The husband of the wife was so ashamed his wife is an informant to armed robbers.

Police invited my ex, that the case is now having head way he can come and identify the remaining robbers and informant. Mehn we were shocked when we saw his best friend wife amongst them. Her husband, his friend and their family were begging him to withdraw the case ,or else his life will be in grave danger and he won't be alive to travel back abroad.

Mehn the pressure and threats were much, the next day he withdrew the case from station .

That experience made him fear Nigerians.

He travelled back and didn't come back again. He sold off the uncompleted duplex.
