Politics / Re: Electricity Production By Governments From 1999 To 2020 - StatiSense by Proflere: 7:30am On Aug 21, 2022 |
This is a very simple analysis and government would not be compelling distributors how much electricity should cost unless they are ready to fill up the gaps either by paying the difference or helping in the area of distribution cost. But then i trust the government to be owing for months in the name of there is no fund to meet up with the subsidy. 29kobo: |

29kobo:Yeah! We rather use hike in electricity charges, multiple collapse of national grid, dwindling electricity supply which in the end brings us to the question of; if electricity production has increased under this government and we do not feel it as citizens, that means it must have been exported to these various country. Can you then please help us with a data that shows increase in earnings from electricity export since Buhari administration took over. Thank you. |

Truthday:If you say they are hypocrites, I agree with you. But you must agree that your religion is synonymous to violence and that is what you have displayed time to time. You hardly hear this kind of news coming from our media houses on a daily basis. On the other hand, it is your brothers that go on a killing spray all in the name of religion over and over again. Prove it to the world that these guys do not represent Islam because Islam is a religion of peace, no you won't do that, you rather come out here to prove it over and over again that people are right to see anyone associated with Islam as terrorist (which I personally don't believe). Maybe if you all show more love and reduce your arrogance you will change people's perspective about you. |

Politics / Re: Tinubu: Until We Have A Good Credit System, We Can't Conquer Corruption by Proflere: 5:09pm On Jul 02, 2022 |
This type of campaign strategy was introduced into our politics by these old men (BAT being their leader). It is what we all grew up to know about politics and you cannot totally blame them for it. But then, should it continue? Definitely No! Again, you are not wrong to give it back to anyone who think they have monopoly of violence, but whenever we have the chance, correct them with love instead of hatred so that our political space can be purge of such nonsense. May the best candidate win come 2023!! trutharena: |
Politics / Re: Tinubu: Until We Have A Good Credit System, We Can't Conquer Corruption by Proflere: 4:56pm On Jul 02, 2022 |
I am an Obi supporter and I can clearly tell you that this is a good one from BAT. What you guys don't get is that, no one is saying BAT isn't a good administrator or a builder, but there are so many reasons these guys should start empowering the youths to take on the leadership roles while they play supportive and advisory roles. These guys have been in power since the 80s and they are still the ones ruling till date... Haba now, when is the future we were promised coming? That been said, you all should learn to be civil when selling your candidate. We shouldn't start insulting one another because we have different opinions about candidates. Aside people that directly benefit from these politicians, the rest of us are just trying to make sure Nigeria works again during our lifetime. Most people supporting PO are doing so not because they believe he is better than BAT, but guys are tired of these same old guys. In the end, whoever wins, we all will still have to work together, pray together to still make sure they deliver because their decisions will definitely affect us all. So why the bitter stance against one another because of politicians trutharena: 1 Like |

Great read! I believe the only reason court would clear Jonathan is because the law will not apply retrospectively. In that case Atiku, PYO and the likes may not be affected. Those affected would be activities that took place after the bill has been signed meetgaya: |

Lol, we are already living in zoo. Unless you don't want to come out clean and speak the truth, but then I will analyse that for you. Never as one of this been seen as symbol of violence, but the other has been used to put unnecessary phobia in people as it has been used so many times to conceal bombs that end up killing so many people (well I know you will say that is by religion extremist, but it is not my fault that they are extreme, why have I not seen one of the others too in such extremely dangerous behavior). On the other hand, one of this is chosen at will after you already reach a certain age where you make choices for yourself whereas the other is compulsory so far your parent believe in it. I don't still have problem with that. One of this will never force their way to change the narrative of a secular world like Nigeria, you will never see one wanting to carry his regalia to schools as kids, to court as lawyers or to a gathering where they represent the Interest of every Nigerians because they respect the constitution that place Nigeria in a secular state. But then the other would always want to change the narration of things by forcing acceptance on people. There are thousands of Islamic schools that will not have issues with hijab, but then, it is that school that wants to be secular and not bring religious matter into its dealing that this other one will say by force they want to go. Now tell me, would you blame anybody who has experienced any issues associated with this other one for having problem with one of this and okaying the other one? I think instead of preaching acceptance, we should rather give people reasons to accept. Show them that the stigma associated with this other one is a mere mind issues created by fear and then you will see people freely associating with both without any issues. I can tell Atheist will conveniently choose one of this over the other, does that mean an atheist is also a religious fanatic? You now see that there is a major work to be done in order to reassure people that they both mean well and not otherwise. PS: I am indifferent. I evaluate you as humans and not based on any symbol you carry. JAMO84: 2 Likes 1 Share

Solving the problem of Okada is very easy.. Stop arresting just the bike owner, start arresting the passengers too.. If there is no demand, supply will be affected!!! But then, can we start looking forward to how to industrialize Nigeria so that people can have sensible jobs to do rather than risking their lives. 50 Likes 3 Shares |

If Tinubu was 60, 70, we won't be having this conversation because, obviously he is sound and intelligent. How many years ago did he govern Lagos? That strength is no longer there. He is a grandfather already, let him go and enjoy his old age. Must we always have our ancestors on the seat? Aren't you tired? seunmsg: |

Lol, who is na hypocrite between me and Tinubu? Tinubu is a respected citizen in Nigeria, a private citizen as you said. One who has freedom of speech but couldn't use it because of his ambition. Killings in igangan by Fulani went on for months and Tinubu was asking where are the cows. Youths were maltreated for exercising their right and your incoming president has nothing to say to that as an elder state man that you want us to look up to. A market got burnt in the north, Tinubu donated 50m, a market got burnt in Ibadan and we no even see him condolence message. I have nothing against Tinubu, but I have to respond to you since you have decided to bring him into the discussion. victorDanladi: |
