emmaodet:Look at this one, why don't you profer your audio solution based on what the guy said, instead of turning yourself to a motivational speaker over night. I hope you won't open a thread in the future to lament your ordeal with the COW biz. Even in your original post, you were already talking about possibility of KILLING! , just imagine having "life" as the number one risk of a supposed "side hustle"!!. Your shortened name really speaks of you No pun intended |
Nice one |
I think I like this angle you came out from. Larryslim: |
bennynaza:Best post of all, I love the way you put that "Dbanj sacrifice" dem! I became emotional ![]() |
Yeah, I enjoyed it even more ![]() |
I can't believe I'm commenting, I'm suppose to be "internet-fasting" right now (personal decision), I'm not suppose to even be online, yet here am I even commenting, just because of how emotional I am with your story. I am not married yet, so my advice is more like "theoretical", you claim you are very reasonable, so I will leave you to "the application". You seems to have tried all possible ways, now here is "plan Z" below: Most of your description of personalities sound very familiar to me, so I kind of understand what you are going through. E685, I think, both your mum and your wife are very selfish (forget their temperament, their temperament is only the avenue for them to show their selfishness). So that leads us to the next thing, they both are playing politics. And what is the goal of this politics: "You". Yes you. Women are generally very jealous, they don't want to share the limelight with anyone, and that is the problem. They don't want to share you with anybody. All attention to come to just them and no other. No matter, how conscious you are, once you are in a serious relationship/married, your closeness with your mother drops to a level, or should I say, when you start growing up. Which is natural, but mothers always want their baby boy to remain 'baby', even if they don't realize, that is what their subconscious request is tending towards. So you need to privately seat your mum down and let her know that, you can't continue to be that mummy's boy everytime and she needs to know that you are married and if she loves you, she needs to sincerely love and tolerate your wife and start seeing her as her own daughter because now she is her daughter anyway. At the same time, you need to also privately seat your wife down, and let her know that, thank God she gave birth to a son, she should treat your mother the way she will love her son's wife to treat her and tolerate her. She needs to start seeing your mother like her mother, If she will tolerate her own mother and let her have her way sometimes, she should do the same with your mother. You can't allow them to put you in that situation for you to choose one of them, and don't pitch tent with any of the party even if they are correct. And let your ACTION be very clear you are not supporting anybody. At this point, you need to be the man and you need to get angry. Then call a meeting with both of them to settle and show love and live together. YOU ARE THE COMMANDER HERE, IF YOU DON'T STAND YOUR GROUND, NOBODY WILL LISTEN TO YOU. And of course, they will not agree, the next level is to threaten to cut loose from both of them till they decide to live as one family. And at worst you go and stay with a friend for the main time till both of them realize It's either they share "you" or nobody gets you. You have known your mum before your wife came on board, AND THEN you have a new family now. They both don't see themselves as family yet, and your diplomatic ways haven't been working, so it's time to switch gears. The problem they are having are just three: Selfishness, Non-tolerant and Bad Ego. |
Shebi dem say actor no dey die for film, y him kon die for ending na ![]() |
ultimate77:A girl woos you, then she really likes you. And think you should frankly seat her down and put the options to her. She can not date you and date another guy, so she has to choose one She definitely can choose you even though the other abroad guy seems like a better option for her. But then you have to be strict at this junction to avoid wasting your resources (time, energy, love, money, etc) on a temporary person. And you don't need to let the guy come back before she takes her decision and inform him (if she chooses you) Even if she chooses the guy, there are many other girls you will come across that will be better than her. But to save you from heart break feeling early enough. At least, it is better to be officially a substitute boyfriend than to be a substitute boyfriend without even knowing. - Profstar ![]() Let her put you in your place |
kazyhm:@ bolded, biggest mistake a guy can make, she will "act" 'wife material' for you till you guys get married and then permanently 'retire' from acting. ![]() Sometimes she might not even be playing you intentionally, but human subconscious has a way of taking the wheel once desire is attached, desire here is marriage |

I will say, it is not your decision to make. Seat him down, put the 2 options before him, if he is as smart as you said he is, he will definitely stay because nothing is as good as having a boss who has the 3 characteristics which you seems to show: 1. Willingness to help his career 2. Monetary reward for this output 3. General appreciation That does not mean he will not leave, it only means that if he agrees to stay, when the time comes for him to move on, you have to put all weight of connections behind him. Scratch my back I scratch yours. That's if he decides to stay back |

TheFacelessMan:I never did. If Seun has a back-end way to track a post editing history (like facebook), he can testify to it. I even feel there are things I will like to correct now (sentence issues and all) but I have NOT, just to keep it as it has been. |

I am going to make this as short as possible Disclaimer: This is not intended to portray a bad image of any group in the country, it is simply the explanation of Nigerian reality from the glass screen of Samson Oke. It saddens me to write this, there is nothing to be proud of from this article, it just shows the sorry state of our dear country Nigeria. Knowing these things about our environment will help individuals to know how to live their life. That is, when you know the level of lawlessness in your environment then you don't risk your life unnecessarily, e.g arguing unnecessarily with a Soldier/Armed uniform man These simple things save lifes Without further ado, let's jump right in. 1. The Prime Nigerians (Politically connected with above average wealth 2. The default Nigerians (simply the Northerners) 3. The Non-Nigerian Nigerians NNN (otherwise called "The Unknown Nigerians; Our honorable Senator Dino Melaye in 2019 said, "No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any other Nigerian" And I absolutely disagree, may be he speaks of the "Nigerian dream" (what we hope to achieve) but for now I say: "Some Nigerians are more Nigerian than most other Nigerians" 1. The Prime Nigerians (Politically connected with above average wealth These category of Nigerians are the Prime Nigerians, a sample of "average wealth " here, is not the general wealth of the Nigerian population, it is the average of all financially comfortable Nigerians. All Nigerians from all part, ethnic group, tribe and region have people in this group To be a Prime Nigerian you need to achieve two major things (criteria) : 1. Above average wealth 2. Averagely good political connection (at least) The 2 criteria must be present at the same time for you to be a member of this particular group. Now I need to say, a person can be demoted from this particular category, and just anybody can be promoted here too. Benefit of being in this category : * Your propensity to a longer life as a Nigerian is greatly increased * You directly and indirectly enjoy all the benefit a citizen should enjoy in a civilized society, including and not limited to: right to life, all civil right and freedoms, optimum security, good health care, power supply, good road, name it!! * You won't be easily cheated by another "Prime Nigerian" * People in this group can cheat and get "P"ed (praised) and not "P"ed (punished) E.g Gov. Gandola who was caught on camera with corruption and was also publicly defended by the biggest personnel in the anti-corruption agency in the country (the president) right in front of the whole world * The laws of the land will be solely made to favor you Ask many of our big business men that enjoy monopoly as a result of direct government laws on their goods and services * Doing business and making more money is easier Therefore I say, "Democracy, In Nigeria, is government of the rich, by the well connected, and by the politicians" Another reference, Hundred of people have been dying of road accident nobody really care to look into the cause not until the late Former Minister of state for Labor and Employment, James Ocholi (may his soul rest in peace) died in a car accident in 2016 that the rules of drivers' licensing was changed. HOW TO BECOME A PRIME NIGERIAN You can easily become a Prime Nigerian by first trying to achieving one of the 2 criteria and then follow suit to achieve the second one. Anyone of the 2 can come first, mostly, "wealth brings connection, and increased connection multiplies wealth" So you see why the rich are getting richer! 2. The Default Nigerians (simply the Northerners) These are group of individuals that are born into the northern region family No pun is intended here, I'm only stating the obvious. They are mostly favoured ahead of any other region in the country, They relatively get what ever job they desire even when they are completely unqualified for it. They run the country and they own it from all angles. They don't border themselves relatively much about getting educated, they practically don't need it to get the good life that they desire (from their definition of a good life) and those of them that get educated mostly get overly rewarded for it at the expense of other more qualified candidates. You can never be part of these group if you are not born from this region. If you are, you are very lucky as a Nigerian, because the rate at which you get what you want in life has been increased for you naturally with little or average effort required of you (it now depends on the size of what you want). E.g Mrs Hannatu Mohammed, who was appointed as a member of ICPC board at the age of 26 years on the 4th of February 2019, while the highest achievement she had at the time of appointment was a BSC degree and experiences in pharmacy. Then more effort from you will push you to the peak within the shortest time, ask Dangote if I'm wrong, who apparently is a "Prime-Default Nigerian" Another point is this current RUGA settlement going on, now so many entrepreneurs in the country, nobody is really specifically assisting to make their business run smoothly but here we have the federal government doing all it can to ensure cattle business flourishes, is that not awesome!? Bottomline is: The country works in your favor like other great countries in the world work for their citizens Meanwhile I need to say that, a Default Nigerian that does not find a way to become a Prime Nigerian will not be able to enjoy as much as what Nigerian-citizenship can offer What should citizenship offer? Been a citizen of a country should offer the following basic and major benefits to the citizens 1. Optimum Protection of life and prosperity 2. Rapid response of government to threat to life and property 3. Government awareness of your individual existence and welfare 4. High value of your voice and it's influence 5. And you calling the shot! 3. The NNN: Non-Nigerian Nigerians (otherwise called The Unknown Nigerians; Any other Nigerian that does not fall into the 2 categories above are in this category These are all Nigerians who are the masses and are not also from the northern part of the country. This group mostly share similar situation with the default Nigerians but are way worst off Their existence is not known by the government, nobody really care about their living or nonliving (ask those that gets shot almost daily just by confronting a uniform man) Their right are mostly denied (Ask the so many people in prison cell for years for petty reasons without been convicted by any court room) To move from this group to the Prime Nigerians group requires more than average effort especially if you are not born into a family that possess at least one of the two criteria for being a Prime Nigerian They provide practically all things by themselves, from security, to light, to education Every man is for himself From petty activities like Nepa seizing light for months without any course (as people living in Orile area of Lagos are experiencing), to security agent not responding to a recurrent day light street burglary, to government ignoring severely bad roads that lead to hundreds of life been lost on a yearly basis (like Lagos badagry express way), the list is limitless. Being a Prime Nigerian is the key to having a good life for every person born to this part of the world and want to remain in this part of the world To become a Prime Nigerian, the following has been known to work 1. Hustle (both hard and smart, increasing your capacity to earn) 2. Being alert to opportunity 3. Maximizing every bit of connection that you have 4. Not giving up no matter what 5. Being responsive to change 6. Grace, luck and favour (God's factor) God help us. |

You subtopics need space, you tightened everything up only to leave a huge space at the end of second page Justify your document, control J ,(let everything align), treat your Cv like your room while you are the interior decorator Your name should be centralized And space space space space should be everywhere. It aids reading, but make sure it doesn't extend your CD more than 2 pages Your statement should not be more than 2and half lines maximum. Cv should be a summary sis Peace Meanwhile, I noticed this was posted in January and you recently have been online, yet for the past 4 months you couldn't give a reaction to people's contribution. A simple "thank you" would have suffice. They owe you nothing, and it is their time you have taken free of charge for them to type and comment in order to help you out. It is not for them, it is for you, and it tells of the kind of person you are. Also, don't take my sentence personal, take it in a good light and change |
EbukaHades10:Lol, no be only project topic Torg77:LMFAO why not show your view instead Meanwhile you don't need to quote everything just to say 'nonsense' |
I have seen this every single time I go to banks for transactions, and each time I go, my antennas get raised and I begin to wonder how can the banks still be this gullible in this 21st century to have not been able to see this as a serious security concern. I will try to keep this as short as possible, straight to the point. Now, here is the concern; In virtually all banks in Nigeria currently, you find a setting where a security personnel is positioned inside the bank (seating very close to the entrance with a small desk which has a security switch/ button under the locker) and then the normal security outside, just in front of the bank's entry/exit point So you get to the bank and a scenerio like this occurs where the mantrap security entry scan doesn't allow you in because it detects metal of some sort on you, and then the security personnel stationed outside, who is beside you quickly do a manual scan of you to ensure the metal the system detected is an "allowable metal" (which could be glass case, bunch of keys, mobile phones, etc), if it is an allowable metal, the security personnel (with you outside) will signal this security personnel inside through the transparent glass wall of mantrap and then this security personnel inside goes ahead to press the button/switch under his small desk which will cause the mantrap door to "forcefully" allow you in, even with all the initially detected metals and then you get in and process your business for the day. It so bad in some banks that the security door (on pressing of the switch) gives direct front and back simultaneous access into the bank (a situation where the security mantrap door in front of you opens as well as the the one you will see when you enter the scanning point). While this current system is innocently flexible, to allow the entry of "good" customers even when the computer scan door has refuse them access, and again we know how impatient Nigerians can be when it comes to following rigid and long processes, however, it has also defeated the purpose of the computerized automatic scan door and thus created a serious security loophole in the banking entry/exit security, leaving the banks highly vulnerable because of this security loophole and poses threat to life to bank visitors I can easily think of 4 scenerios which exploit this loophole. Now the solution: Firstly I need to say that, in this 21st century, if the computerized security scan cannot operate up to 90% independence with its stationed screen surveillance staff then it does not deserve to be a cost consideration atall. Bank visitors should NEVER know the direct location of the person controlling the mantrap in the bank talkless of having him in direct view right there in the banking hall Therefore, that "access switch" should NOT be there ATALL (it totally compromises the entire security measures installed for safety). The reason why this needs to be taken seriously is not just because of possibility of loss of cash, but more importantly because of the possibility of loss of life. I have spoken. Buhari didn't win in first attempt and even second. Some they are just been delusional others are warming up towards the next election. The numbers you pull now will determine if you will be helped the next time. That's politics!!! |
