Hmmm, i thought this was recent until i did a search to find that its been a while. This is a sad state of affairs but nothing unusual. I personally will not risk my life for an unworthy cause except God calls me for such a purpose, because going there on just humanitarian grounds is silly in my opinion.

One thing that has been playing on my mind for weeks now will be a similar case. Alan Henning who was also abducted and killed in Syria by Mohammed Emwazi (Jihadi John). His death caused a stir amongst the muslim community in Uk because he was part of a charity group that wanted to help syrian children who have been displaced by war. It was sad because his friends pleaded for his release but that fell on deaf ears.

The rest of the people beheaded did not get such luck (muslims pleading for them to be set free and the pleas getting huge traction in the media).

I personally believe Alan Henning embraced Islam and that is why he was comfortable and felt safe with his people. There's a picture of him doing the one finger salute (the oneness of allah, I dont call it ISIS sign) and that is why his friends feel very bad about his death.

The issue here is not that muslims are being denied entry to the US (lots of flights from different muslim countries and different muslims from all countries entered the US that particular day) but the "victimhood" and the "offended" aided by the liberal media and the left. #Islamophobia

Why do muslim women veil themselves? It wasnt even Allah or Mohammed's idea. It was Umar bin Al-Khattab's idea amongst other things and Allah and Mohammed agreed with him.

3. Once the wives of the Prophet made a united front against the Prophet and I said to them, 'It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.' So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed." (66.5).

The funny thing is that, we've hashed all these topics before and the same questions continue to be asked and muslims cannot give answers.

Also occurred to me that in "embracing" Islam, there's no acknowledgement of sin. There's no repentance, no humility that works cannot save and there's no promise to live a life free of sin. Definitely no saviour.

That same ONE TRUE GOD gave His Son authority over all flesh (including Mohammed) and will give eternal life to as many as would believe Him.

It actually answers a few questions. God is the FATHER! JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON! JESUS CHRIST said HE IS THE SON OF GOD

This ONE TRUE GOD is glorifying/will continue to glorify His Son who existed before the world was.

An Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet that the Ansar drew lots concerning the dwelling of the Emigrants. 'Uthman bin Maz'un was decided to dwell with them (i.e. Um al-'Ala's family), 'Uthman fell ill and I nursed him till he died, and we covered him with his clothes. Then the Prophet came to us and I (addressing the dead body) said, "O Abu As-Sa'ib, may Allah's Mercy be on you! I bear witness that Allah has honored you." On that the Prophet said, "How do you know that Allah has honored him?" I replied, "I do not know. May my father and my mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! But who else is worthy of it (if not 'Uthman)?" He said, "As to him, by Allah, death has overtaken him, and I hope the best for him. By Allah, though I am the Apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me," By Allah, I will never assert the piety of anyone after him. That made me sad, and when I slept I saw in a dream a flowing stream for 'Uthman bin Maz'un. I went to Allah's Apostle and told him of it. He remarked, "That symbolizes his (good) deeds.

Sorry Lexiconkabir, but the tafsir has categorically stated that you guys will be in hell. Another explanation from other sources apart from tafsir and hadith as well as the Quran will not suffice.

Essentially, either you will be interceding for those in hell or you will be in hell as the reciepient of the intercession or i am going to replace you in hell.

This is really hypocritical since muslims always argue that the price Jesus Christ paid on the cross is meaningless. Why would one pay the price of sins of another. Everyone is responsible for his own sins.

Where are these people saved from? Where were they before they are saved? Please explain

The angels, the Prophets and the believers will all intercede. Thus, a large number of the sinners will be allowed to come out of Hell. The fire will have devoured much of their bodies, except the places of prostration on their faces.

So, some will be in hell then if the fire has devoured much of their bodies except signs of prostration

Why are the angels and believers interceding? Why will some come out of hell after intercession? Will you be one of those interceding or will you be one of those who will come out hell after intercession? Please clarify

Their removal from the Hellfire will be due to the faith in their hearts. The first to come out will be he who has the weight of a Dinar of faith in his heart. Then, whoever has the next least amount after him. Then, whoever is next to that after him, and so forth. This will continue until the one who has the tiniest hint of faith in his heart, equal to the weight of an atom. Then, Allah will take out of the Fire whoever said "La ilaha illallah,'' even one day of his entire life, even if he never performed any good deed. After this, no one will remain in the Hellfire, except those it is obligatory upon to remain in the Hellfire forever.

This means they will be in it before they are taken out of it!!!

This has been reported in many authentic Hadiths from the Messenger of Allah . This is why Allah says,
(Then We shall save those who had Taqwa. And We shall leave the wrongdoers in it, Jithyya.)

This is your most trusted tafsir. If Ibn Kathir says they will be saved from it and like I explained before, he is a native Arabic speaker, you’re only deceiving yourself with the excuse of translation.

Another thing, what then do you make of these hadiths?

Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.

Chapter : Throwing of non-believers in hell-fire for believers as Divine Grace and Mercy.

Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit in his stead a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire. 'Umar b. Abd al-'Aziz took an oath: By One besides Whom there is no god but He, thrice that his father had narrated that to him from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).

Sahih Muslim Book 037, Hadith Number 6668.
Chapter : Throwing of non-believers in hell-fire for believers as Divine Grace and Mercy.

Abu Burda reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians. (As far as I think), Abu Raub said: I do not know as to who is in doubt. Abu Burda said: I narrated it to 'Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz, whereupon he said: Was it your father who narrated it to you from Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him)? I said: Yes.

So which is it?
Will Allah just have mercy and replace a muslim with a jew or Christian in hell or will he just have mercy because of the faith in the hearts of the muslims or because they said La ilaha illallah once in their life?

Then, the rest will pass while the angels will be saying, `O Allah save them, save them.' '' This narration has supporting narrations similar to it from the Prophet in the Two Sahihs and other collections as well. These narrations have been related by Anas, Abu Sa`id, Abu Hurayrah, Jabir and other Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. Ahmad also recorded that Umm Mubashshar, the wife of Zayd bin Harithah, said, "The Messenger of Allah was in the house of Hafsah when he said,
(No one who was present at the battles of Badr and Hudaybiyyah (of the Muslims) will enter into the Hellfire.) Then, Hafsah said, "Doesn't Allah say,
(There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell)) The Messenger of Allah replied by reciting,

Essentially, what we are saying is that the "Birmingham manuscript the muslims were so excited about has been dated to between 568-645AD. If you take the median date to run with, this would be 606AD 4 years before the revelations started coming. This does not look good. Meaning the prophet had nothing to do with the Quran.

None of the "6" manuscripts that exist for the Quran are complete. Most importantly they do not match the codified HAFS Quran that is in use today which was by the way codified in 1924 at Al-Azar University in Cairo.

If this is so (and it is), then Allah's word has been changed contrary to widely held assertions that the Quran is exactly the way it was revealed to the prophet.

As per our resident Audi guru concerned, i need your advice on what can be the issue with a new Audi A2 1.6 FSi...Got it from auction (one can tell i like these cars, still have my Audi A2 1.4 oil switch engine block problems)

The car turns over but does not start. I have tried to research 1.6 FSi engine and apparently they do suffer this issue. I guess the question is (without plugging in a scanner) what can be the likely cause. The car will be delivered by Friday and will not be touched for a long while.

I only got it because of the bodykit. You really dont see these around...

And ideas? Some say Camshaft position sensor, some have even suggested throttle body or ECU

Police in Sicily have arrested 15 people for allegedly throwing 12 migrants overboard during what appeared to be a Muslim assault against Christians on the high seas amid Italy’s migration crisis.

The statement said the motive was that the victims “professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim”, Associated Press reported.
The arrest warrant for the migrants was signed by Andrea Orlando, the Italian minister of justice, because the alleged events occurred in international waters.
Palermo’s chief prosecutor, Francesco Lo Voi, told Adnkronos that if the allegation was true, it would be a “terrible fact” that the fight had erupted over religion, because it would show how “dangerous” some of the migrants were.
Maurizio Scalia, the prosecutor in the case, will have another 48 hours to validate the arrests.
Asked about the reports of religious prejudice having played a role in the deaths, one expert who has worked in the field for eight years said he had never heard of such an incident in the past, even though most migrant boats usually carry people from different religious backgrounds and nationalities.
