What about the context of those verses? The children of Israel were brought out from Egypt to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The land he gave to them, there people who committed all sorts of atrocities by worshipping other gods. Perhaps if you read the context as well, you will get the gist of why this happened.

We can argue that we should read the context of the Quran as well. The difference is that we have a new covenant that was promised even by Deuteronomy. The difference to all the verses quotes from the Quran is that the violence was needless for a start.

The apostles preached the death and resurrection of Christ and according to you Jesus preached submission to Allah. There is something wrong here, Surah 3:55 says Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

What does this mean? The apostles who clearly preached the death, crucifixion and resurrection, Allah says he would make them superior to those who reject the faith to the day of resurrection. The faith means the faith the apostles preached. The apostles preached , the Son ship of Christ and salvation by believing in Him.
