You and I know the 2 are separate entities. One cannot say He watches his word and hastens it to come to pass and one says he gives a revelation and then gives another one to cancel what he gave before (Abrogation).

One hates unbelievers and one loves the world the He gave himself as a ransom so many can be saved.

One says He gives assurance of salvation and eternal life, one says all of us have to go to Hell first and then some will be plucked out from there and go to paradise.

One is clearly true and one is clearly false. Which one is it?

You are clutching at straws my friend. Read the original greek manuscript of the new testament and the translation is what is quoted in KJV and Luther Bibel 1545, that is why those are authoritative translations. Do some more research and come back...

When one begins to overanalyse that is when you get into these arguments....Yes the Spirit came upon Peter and emboldened him, there is not question about that.

In Acts 13, the Spirit spoke like the Bible said, separate Saul and Barnabas unto Me for the work which I have called them. The Spirit spoke and acted like a person. I don't see what the argument is. Even as they went about the work the Spirt had called them, the Spirit stopped them preaching in Asia (Acts 16:6)

That is why He is a Spirit. He can be with you and in you. You have not addressed 1 John 5:7. What is your take on it?

@Ijawkid, sometimes I wonder what you believe when I read your posts. Yes we can hold to one verse and flog it for what its worth to reaffirm what your mindset already believes.

If the Bible says the Spirit spoke expressly, then literally it means exactly that. Now, does a force speak or guide? Spirit or Ghost, we know these are used interchangeably. Proper Christians have never had a problem with this. In German, we say Heilige Geist and not Heilige Seele. Likewise in yoruba, we say Emi Mimo and not Oku mimo. Some say Holy Ghost, some say Holy Spirit. He is the same person.

Haibe has given a few verses that tells you that the Spirit has these God-like attributes. So if the Spirit is referred to as a He, he belongs in the same place as the other 2 of the trinity.

1 John 5:7 says For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. The issue is you are trying to reduce the Holy Spirit as a bit player in the trinity. The verse above tells you they are one.

If the trinity were a pagan tradition, then it will not be in Christendom, there will be no reference of it in both the old and the new testaments verses.

John 16:5-11
5 “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

But Jesus referred to the Spirit as a He in John 14 and John 15 and I'm sure you know those verses

John 14:15 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 15:26 26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

Christ in these 2 verses referred to the Holy Spirit as a He.

Christ also said in Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.”

Acts 13:1-2 Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

In the book of Revelation, it is said in a few verses the saying He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.

From these passages, the Spirit is clearly not an inanimate object but a being. He gave orders for Paul and Barnabas to go out to the gentiles.

Thinking about this, Acts 1:8 totally debunks the whole JW belief system.

First of all, who is the Antichrist? What did the bible say he will do when he comes? Read Dan 10-12 for an insight into who he is. Matthew 24 refers you to Dan 11:31 and Dan 12:11. So clearly the Antichrist is a god of fortresses/war.

Luke 7 that you quoted in verse 20 says Jerusalem shall be surrounded by armies then you know desolation of Dan 11 and 12 is near. Pray tell, will Obama and his armies attack Israel....?

If only we would study the bible then we would know exactly what God says concerning the time of the end. This is perhaps a diversionary tactic to take people's focus away from the actual bible prophecies (for Christians who do not study Gods word).

So if America has RFID chips implanted in every citizen, what about the rest of the world? How are they going to get the chip? If the rest of the world don't get the chip, that means only America is under the rule of the Antichrist and that is clearly not the way its supposed to be.

Study your bible and ask for the Holy Spirit to give you understanding! Don't predict the end from MSM (Mainstream Media) instead study your bible and when you see the signs that were spoken about in the bible, then you can use the MSM to confirm them because they will be reported but the signs will not linked to bible prophecies.

1. If they are a minority group giving muslims a bad name, do they interpret the quran wrongly?
2. Are only the wahhabi/salafists terror minded?
3. How will the global khalifa be realised if everyone does not become muslim willingly or unwillingly?
3. Since we know not everyone will become muslim (like myself) what do you do?
4. How did you become muslim? Did just say la illah....just like that?
5. Were you born into a muslim family so the religion was passed down? If so, how did Northern part of Nigeria become muslim? Was it by peaceful means or an earlier version of what Boko Haram are doing?

Educate me on the Wahhabi/Salafist. The Wahhabis are from Saudi Arabia, your holiest land. A nominal guy like myself thinks, if this is the way Saudis do it then this must be the right way. But the Sunnis and Shia see it differently. Why are the Wahhabi's wrong and the Sunnis or Shia right? Who is right? Who is wrong?

One thing is clear, you all believe in a global caliphate, how will this come to be? My take is either by personal jihad or violent jihad.

The verse you quoted, when were they revealed? Mecca or Medina? Surah 9 and 110 were the last to be revealed so don't even begin to be mischevious and quoting peaceful verses when the Muslims were a minority and did not have numerical strength.

Surah 9:29 is what is BOKO HARAM quoted to justify their bombing.

I also remember trying to explain that the grave of Apostle Peter is not in Rome because he never set foot in Rome. His grave is in Israel and quick search will establish that.
