So I went to church with my family, at the entrance of the church members of protocol use their security gadgets to search us whether we carry any kind of weapon. Me that did not even carry Bible expect my phone and offering, yet they use their gadgets on me.

My opinion:

I was just laughing because it seems they don't trust their members again for instance me a member of more than five years and listen to the pastor almost every week.
I think this acts in church will further discourage people from attending church services but to stick to electronic programmes

Are you for real on this? You don't sound enlightened the way you typed here. What is wrong with searching everyone to ensure security and safety? The happenings around should be eye opener, even the bishop or most senior minister in every church should submit himself to serve as reference for whoever wants to resist searching on the grounds of being old member. Sometimes the enemy comes close before hitting you hard. So someone can be a member for up to two years just to be a familiar face to use it to penetrate and undermine security. Churches and Mosques as well as places people gather like markets, malls and hotels are taking proactive measures you are dissing yours.
Meanwhile, stop going to the church, you and all those you mentioned, it won't stop the church running. Me sef I am typing from home I didn't go, but rest assured, with or without you that church stands and it's not because of a particular person, the spirit of God is behind it.

It's a shame and pity the kind of things happening in our country. The kind of people we have around us, human life now worthless. The Muslims will no doubt split votes. As it stands the APC stronghold of Kano is already split between APC, NNPP and PDP. Kebbi is going PDP, Jigawa is split between PDP and APC. Eyes go soon clear. Some time ago another person was dragged outside the village in Bauchi state and burnt alive for same reason and it was stated in the report that the person had mental health problems. Sometimes these people are not in their right senses. A person who is of healthy state of mind will never insult the religious beliefs of another, whether Christian or Muslim.
